Yea I was skinning animals at first that I didn’t need. Also you don’t need the animals in Guarma nor the parakeets. The parakeets are part of a secret side Easter egg type mission.
I believe in the video I go through all the pictures and show which animals I have or don’t have. I will check the video once again when I get a chance and if it doesn’t show the parakeet I will make another video showing the exact animals I have or didn’t need.
Jesus dude respect... how did you remember all the different challenges going on at once though? Like hunting whilst.doing all those challenges? The scale of task to platinum this game is colossal.
It’s a massive game. I won’t lie it took me a very long time. Each time I played I would focus on one task. Sometimes it would be the story part. Other times I would just hunt or collect things. It was a very long grind but super fun.

I thought I skinned every animal in the game I thought the deep skin glitched on me I checked my list I didn’t mind checking the common ones because I thought I already knew I have skinned them, Believe me I checked the rabbit and it said I have killed 34 and I have Tracked ‘em 18 times and guess how many times I’ve Skinned them. 0 I thought the trophy glitched on me but it was my dumbass that actually have to check every animal, anyway thanks :)
I have earned the Skin Deep trophy but not the Zoologist trophy. Does every single animal in the copendium need to be studied? I am only missing like 3 that I haven't studied excluding the parakeets, and the Guarma Macaws and Boa's, all which I read are not required for the trophys. I am guessing I need to somehow find these fricken invisible owls and study them in order to get the Zoologist?
Yea you will need all animals except the ones you have stated. If you are having trouble with a certain animal to spawn just save near their spawn point and reload your game. That’s how I managed to do the cougar and panther in the same spot.

If you know a certain spot where they spawn at all of the time you can just reload your save in that same are and it should work. It’s just like the panther and cougar trick.

The parrots and all of the animals from chapter 5 are not needed. Everything else is. Not all animals need to be skinned though. Some just need to be studied. Like the bulls in the farms for example. They only need to be studied.

In my opinion the It’s Art trophy was the most difficult one to complete. The others can be time consuming but they are a lot easier to complete. You don’t have to worry about a 3 star animal and as long as you play through the game some should already be completed for you.

Go through your compendium and make sure each animal has been studied. Could have missed one by accident. It will tell you if it’s been studied or not.

Only the ones that are listed in the compendium that need it. If it doesn’t say anything about it then no. You just have to complete the compendium basically.
No you don’t have to kill those animals. Just look at your compendium. It will tell you which animals you need to just study and which need to be skinned also. 😂
There is a trophy to study them and one to skin them. If you check your book out in the game it will show you if the animal should be skinned or not. You will notice farm animals for example don’t have to be skinned.

The trophy can be done on any save you want as long as you do whatever is required for that save. For example you can’t do half of the animals on one save and the other half on a different one. They all have to be done on one save.

Best tip I can give is just study anything and everything you see and skin them as well. When you get to chapter 5 you don’t have to worry about those animals as they don’t count anyways. Once you finish the game you can go around and finish whatever animals you still need.

Have you tried hunting around west Elizabeth? I know they usually run in packs. Is that the only animal you are missing?

There are more than 5 that are only in Guarma, there are 3 snakes, 3 parrots and another bird called a Booby (yes, that’s right)
You don’t need those for the trophies though.
