Super clear tutorial, very easy to follow.
This was excellent. Thank You. God Bless You.
Thank you!
2024 was going to be the year I challenged myself to learn to knit. I gave up three months ago after attempting knitting twice. After watching your knitting video, I am going to give knitting another try. I have used your tutorials to learn to crochet cables and I have mastered crochet cables because of your tutorials. You explain the process with such ease. I’m now confident that I can learn to knit via this knitting tutorials. Thank you for offering this beautiful pattern.
My pleasure!
I promised myself the same thing and after trying to make a pretty washcloth, several times, in this same stitch, (watching someone else) I gave up. I bet, after all I have learned watching Bonnie all these years, that I CAN learn to knit with her excellent teaching skills!
So, I will join you, soon, for 2nd shot at learning to knit in 2024!
Keep a lookout for me on her knit channel! ❤️🧶
I will. We can do this!!
@@mariankay6482 just to let you know, I tried knitting several times and failed. Made finally getting this (using the Continental Method and circular needles) so much sweeter!
@@BonnieBayCrochet I have to get some circular needles and finish a crochet project on my hook and then...
Thanks for the encouragement, Bonnie!❤️🙂🙏
I am 53 and finally learned how to knit with UA-cam Videos in January 24 after having tried it for the longest time. Now that I can knit fairly well I must say that I simply love working with a hook much more. So I changed to Knooking which is actually knitting but with a crochet hook that has a hole at the end like a darning needle plus an aiding thread of wool that functions as the second knitting needle. Much easier than knitting with two knitting needles ( for me) and the outcome is the same plus, I do not lose as many stitches. Maybe knooking might be an alternative for some people who struggle with two knitting needles. Looking forward to more tutorials🌸!
Thank you!
Thank you so much, Bonnie, for teaching this beginners knit pattern to us. I was just telling my husband yesterday that I wanted to try knitting again. You make it look so much easier as I am a visual learner. Have a blessed day!!!
Hope you enjoy this one Judith!😊❤️
Enjoying my knitting project!!! Thank you for being YOU!! 🤗
So glad you are enjoying this one!😊❤️
Thank you very much for this great video. Learning to knit in 2024.
Beautiful tutorial, though I do not think the yarn is good for babies as it is very fussy. I have lovely yarn to make this blanket with. Thank you so much for sharing.
My pleasure!
Love it good job ❤
My made alone of these for so many of the grandchildren… she had 28 and made at least 20!
Wow! What a tremendous blessing!!!
I’m not a fan of the eyelets when using YO’s to increase. Do you switch the increasing method from KFB on the 1st stitch to a YO after the 4th stitch for a structural purpose, or is it simply to give a visual definition of the blanket’s edge?
@@lindsypenney3064 great question! I just really like the openings along the edge to help give definition as you mentioned.
Bonnie, I love this blanket!! I've always loved the look of the purl stitches❤
