How to Debloat an Android Device - Universal Android Debloater (No Root)

Since I picked up a budget Samsung Tab A7 Lite, I figured I shouldn't have to live with the bloat my other tabs have, and any performance benefits are a bonus.
While in the past I have used the individual ADB commands to clean up my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, I figure these days there must be an easier way, especially without Root.
The Universal Android Debloater was a much better tool than I expected, with so many features and safeties, it is worth playing around with on any device you might want to slim down a little

Nice video man. I like that you got straight to the point and also that you warned us to not unistall the apps unless we are sure we can remove them.
This the only thing that really speed up the android system i love do it on my devices
tysm for the full list, it helped me a lot choosing which service/application to uninstall. I tried this alone, before watching this video, and i kinda messed up my phone. I mean when i was doing the swipe up to close all the apps, the phone was freezing and stuttering, and i had to swipe up 3 times before the phone actually registered the swipe up. Fortunately i was able to restore everything and get it back to normal and debloat my samsung A51 safely. Now my phone is faster than ever, even when i tried playing mobile legends i never saw it run so smoothly. This is a W vid
Fantastic channel 👍
Will be giving a go for this and your guide on Pixel Experience
Thanks for the kind words!
Do let me know how you go trying these out 😁
@@FilthyCasualTech But, i'm lazy as hell! Are there any apps that can legitly disable all apps on any amdroid device aswell???
My tablet wasn't detected at first. To fix it, I had to select "USB tethering" (instead of "Transferring files") under USB settings on the tablet.
Thank you it worked for me too after hours of trying other methods
Uh I have selected usb tethering but it is still not detecting my device
Edit: If you set up adb correctly it would detect your device even with MTP
Thank you!! Greetings from Mexico! =)
🇲🇽😍
Thank you for the spreadsheet..
I dont get options in the drop down menus (on the universal de-bloater) I can only select All, All packages and All lists.
TIp - run the debloater exe from the same path as ADB (or have ADB in your system %path%)
If not then it may not detect your device
thanks
thanks this worked for me !
Thank you!
Thanks
bro, thanks!!!
i dont know why but it is not uninstalling apps in old samsung tablet with Android lollipop. if you know why please do reply.
Worked for me after I inserted the UAD app inside the plataform tools folder.
what did you exactly do? I cant seem to open the uad file?
thanks this helped
Thnx Bro ☠🦾
its not able to find my phone. Ive rebooted n all. It shows my phone is connected to the PC but still cant find it :(
Thanks :) I am deleted half system app ufff :) thanks a lot 😊
is that temporarily removed (until the device restarted and bloatware shows again) or permanently deleted from the device?
i have my samsung with Japanese provider with a lot of bloatware which is kinda frustrating me tho.
It's removed and shouldn't come back after a restart.
It can come back after updates though
Very good video ty , ive used this on my sony NW-A105 walkman most bloatware ive removed but for some reason the google search bar wont go away , ive deleted most google stuff and the search bar remains although unusable (cant type in search bar or remove from home screen) any help please
Is there an option for quick search in the settings if you long press the wallpaper?
Otherwise, does it let you change the launcher entirely to something like Nova?
@@FilthyCasualTech 2nd, how do you disable system updates within the adb + other pre installed apps i.e my files?
It's different for different devices
Unfortunately you're best checking around online for your brand and see if others have managed it, as it can be quite a few packages
Just be aware of the risks
what is a good size for system files after get the device debloated?
Unfortunately would change device to device
I don't generally worry much about storage these days though, and debloat to simplify things or add a bit of speed to lower end devices
VirusTotal online scanner says the zip folder of the Platform Tool contains a Trojan Malware and the same problem comes from all sites offering downloads in that regard ... is that a misinterpretation in regard to some file content ?
I expect it's being over precautious
Ensure you're getting it from a reputable site though and you should be okay
wtf is vruis total online scanner going to do?💀
Bro my adb is denied 😢
Can i just use the debloader without the adb? this adb program is very confusing to install..
Unfortunately not - the debloater uses ADB to perform its actions, it's simply saving you from finding the commands and typing them manually
Can play store and all browsers be removed? I want to make a sort of dumb phone for my kid.
I don't see why not
The device still working once removed is another story - never know how some app dependencies work, good luck though!
Not letting the game popups drain your credit card is an absolutely vital endeavour! 🫠😬
I can't run the Android debloater in 32 bit win 10
Same here... Any solution will be appreciated
Can theme store app from realme device be deleted too? It's a system app!
Most likely, you'll have to connect and try this one out - but I don't see why not
@@FilthyCasualTech can you do a tutorial for it.. I've been looking for a way since last year.. nothing seemed to be working.. I hope you can help me..
First you'll need to identify the package you're after
Easiest to use this app: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
Then when you identify the package name, use the Debloater tool as per the guide to find and remove this package
Let me know how you go
@@FilthyCasualTech okay! When I try this, I'll get back to you..since I don't have laptop.. I need to go to town..
Didn't work with my UMX it just sat there finding connected devices yet ADB instantly saw it.
Wasn't even familiar with UMX until now.
You may have to run the ADB commands manually to debloat unfortunately
@@FilthyCasualTech im having same problem with my moto g7 power. adb devices command only works as .\adb devices. adb did find my device, but the uad cant.
@@jangofet555 TIp - run the debloater exe from the same path as ADB (or have ADB in your system %path%)

@@mayurhegde you are the prophet people need not Mohmmed
lolol it's not your imagination ..devices are way smoother after debloating!!!!
Definitely seems good, especially on weaker devices 🎉
i plan on buying an 100 cellphone and experimenting.
