Yeah the beginning of your help Video were clear. But the iMovie SPLITS are not. Like most of us who know how to do a function, you slid-over functions so fast by pressing keys without pausing a bit to make clear, what WE need to do. Otherwise it’s a good video for a beginning & end of: “How To Edit On IPhone”. So thanks for that.

Thank you. This resolved things well. It ll be so much easier to edit portions out…I had to create 2 separate vids prior to this. So much easier thus way. Thanks again

Hey, Tim. I joined two videos together, but the top of the videos comes out cropped, even though I didn't do anything to do so! Specifically, it was the video of a toddler dancing to the tune of "Old McDonalds," the top half of his head is not showing in the spliced version, even though it appeared perfectly in the original videos! So - what happened?
Unfortunately this doesn’t actually save a new copy of the video, if you send it to a pc it sends the original unedited version even if you saved it as a new clip
By chance do you know how to do this in the iMovie app on the iPhone but keep the vertical video format? I want to be able to make jump cuts on my phone and post to TikTok and Insta-Reels. Thanks for the content. Much appreciated!!!
I wanted to cut out a piece from the middle of my movie but you were talking way too fast to follow. Also I tapped the iMovie icon as on my Iphone (white star inside blue box) but what came up was nothing like what you show on your video.
That’s what I was gonna say, he got right to the point in the whole video. Unless you were only looking for a certain thing, he told you at the beginning of the Video what he was going to show us! Skip it if you didn’t want to see it, don’t bag on the creator!
I hope you have notifications on cuz I want you to come back to this video and be pissed from how long they ponder around the point. We’re literally looking for a minute tutorial on how to cut a video on an iPhone it should not be 6.06 minutes at all

With iMovie when I edit my videos from there and want to up load to UA-cam it comes up with a frame around it. I just want a normal size edited video

Why is it so unnecessarily difficult to trim a part of video we do not want.
After using trim handles I do not have a "done" option
Make sure you grab the yellow handles, not the grey/white ones
It is not working in the Photos app, I have iphone11 with ios16 installed. Is there some setting that we have to change?
