As an Australian, I’m ashamed to say this is the first time I’ve heard him sing. It feels like he would have real *power* in his voice, depending on what he’s singing. I reckon he could belt out some amazing tunes. Going searching now

I remember hearing the first ever radio-play on Triple J whilst I was working on Darlington Point solar farm. It took my heart the very moment I heard that first verse.

In the Air is my favourite. It's what I listen to when I forget to breathe and it slows me down. My musical equivalent to touching grass.

Apparently DMA did their version in 2016 and Adam Lambert did his version in 2018.
And to think Cher had to use an "AutoTune" to sing this song.... This guy and Nick just sing it straight off the cuff. Who's the better singers... Just sayin' 💖
I am pretty sure the auto tune was meant to be part of the tone of the song, not to "fix" her vocals. In any event, both great versions.
The “autotune” was a vocal effect for the purpose of the song. It’s like criticising a guitarist for using overdrive
@@josephwright4222 Bad example mate... I know what "Autotune" is... I use it everyday. It's a cover-up for shortcomings of the song or the singer. If it didn't glitch, or someone didn't go outside the working parameters/scope of the "tool", then nobody would have noticed.
