How does it measure the heart rate just by using the flashlight??
If just an app can do this, why Samsung gives the "Exclusive" heartrate monitor on the GALAXY S5 ??

samsung do same thong bro, if you put you finger on heartrate sensor it starts the light & the visual sensor checks variation of blood moving in finger & tell you heart rate... goo.gl/5kfHm2 thare you can download app for free...

AAB4K No both techniques are different. Samsung detects the reflected pulse using a dedicated Photo diode sensor while a app based detector senses using rear Camera.
