Cheers Nathan as always, a great show , cant wait to hear the new N M release and all the other gems...I will always be grateful for the introduction a few years ago to Transatlantic when Absolute universe came out..I collected all the cds over that year and they are in my top 5 now massively...all the best to ya 😀
Being that Neal Morse is my favourite solo artist, I didn't much care about the last few albums, I'm hoping that this new album will get back to the quality he has delivered, the new DT song is the quality they always deliver, they are the ONLY artist where I will buy the album without listening to it before, good show nathan.
I can't say how much I like these weekly updates Nathan. The coverage and video length are just right, not too much not too little per item and overall. I am so hyped for Frost* album, I loved the single Moral and Consequence. I hope we will hear songs as strong as Black Light Machine. As for Dream Theater single Night Terror, it is definitely a solid song, but way too familiar and comfortable. Feels as if DT is frozen 15 years ago despite changes in music scene and many bands MP played in. I was expecting a little bit of adventure, but I can also understand celebrating their reunion with a safe song everyone will feel familiar with.
Gonna buy the new Kite Parade album next and then the new Frost* one, that'll do me for the next couple of weeks, I also want the new Tides From Nebula album as well, so many new albums and not enough ears, hope you're both well Bro ;)
Kind of an incredible week for major prog news and singles -- to think that new Dream Theater song is already lined up for a million views on UA-cam in just two days, its pretty incredible. Thanks as always for the recap, as the Oddleaf album/track were new to me here. I saw a band perform last night, Stop.Drop.Rewind, that actually kind of walk the line between prog and emo/punk. They were excellent. They have a new single coming out next Friday called Compulsion that's very good (i bought a sampler CD of upcoming unreleased songs at the show) as well as a song called Sleep that came out just last week. Since I know you're always looking on the outskirts of the genre, it might be appealing--think if Rush wrote Jimmy Eat World songs or something.
Looking forward to the new Dream Theater album
Thanks for the news Nathan! Can't wait until February and the new Dream Theater album. Loved the first single!
Hi Nathan, we're so happy to be mentioned by such a familiar face of the prog media ! ☺ Thanks for your work!
