Richard, I'm proud to say I caught my first ever crappie last weekend. I went back this weekend, and I think I caught one of the same again (I caught two last time). But the water's so cloudy, and the ducks and geese have started following fishermen, so that one fish was my only bite. And then I come on here and see you hauling in slabs and talking about how tough the bite is! Right there is the voice of experience. So good on ya, and I hope your fish were delicious!

Nice slabs. Here on the coast of Texas we're in post spawn for sure and slowing down and barely twitching the jig is the only way to get a bit right now.
