I certainly would love to meet you, but I know that is most likely not possible but I'm gonna buy my docs to fish the Tennessee......"Cause It's Good Fer Me"!!! Love your videos, they have helped my Crappie fishing immensly here in Upstate South Carolina. I grew up in DeKalb county and have many good memories of N/E Alabama. Keep em coming maybe we'll see ya out there one day. God bless. Yours truly, Terry Gibbs. BTW, my best catch at my favorite location was 14" just last week.Slab tail pearl with blue flakes in medium clear water and in the boil of the locks.
Richard love your videos , very entertaining, you are very lucky to have the great weather to fish at least 12 months out of the year , but for me up north , we are lucky if we have 6-8 months that we can fish so I have to take time to view you videos will I am having cabin fever , because of the weather up north , anyway. Enjoy what you do ok.
Man I agree this March windy is brutal! we've been slaying them though. The water must getting warmer sooner there then it does here. We are still catching them deep.
Is there a video of yours that shows the different types of knots you use & how to tie them ? I love your videos & will b moving to fish some of the same waters in a couple of months. It'll be a much better retirement utilizing all of the tips I've picked up from you. Always fun to watch, and just......wooo, woooo, I'm goin fishin cause IT'S GOOD FER YA !!
Thank you Richard for another Informative and educational video you are the best thanks again! I have been watching your videos lately and it’s very relaxing especially that you’re just simply fishing and there is no hype, introductions, music, well except when you seem like you’re catching the power at the end you’re videos with those guitar licks that’s fine Lol! I always learn a bunch from you so thanks a whole bunch Richard!
Elmer , It's just plain an simple !! When it comes to fishing , some folks has got it , and some folks don't !! It's the same as well for finding fish too , before you can ever think about even catching them !!! And you Elmer , just have a natural knack for doing what it takes !! My hats off to you my friend !!! Thanks so much , for the great advice and making these wonderful Videos !!!

Thanks for taking time and explaining how Crappie can be found. You have made me a better Crappie fisherman! I've been catching a lot of 1-1/2 lb and 2 lb crappie. Fun, fun, fun!!!
OMG ,,, You are a Croppie Magnet !!!!!!!! Those were some of the Best`est croppie I`ve seen.. You are a true sportsman to the fishing game. Be careful out there and FISH ON !!!!! Thanks for sharing...
Thanks for such nice videos and for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us. I watched three videos and kept being disappointed when you mentioned Elmer could not come today. Hair transplant got me good. But when you said he had to go to Walmart for boots I finally figured it out. No one would do that over fishing. Lol. I guess I am a bit slow, buddy. 😅
Caught some good ones Gene..caught 16 crappie at Lake Martin last weekend use a jig and bobber...you’re the one I learned that from and it paid off last trip..keep the tips and vids coming Gene!
You’ve helped me a great deal with my fishing game thank you for the knowledge. Even tho I hate the commercials I’m letting them run to return the favor
we still have 36- 46 inches of ice.....snowmobiles, and atv's only on the open ice, we are close to ice out, about 4 to 5 more weeks. the crappies and sunfish are staging in their pre spawn areas...get your rods ready.
A respectful question. If you are on a catch and release trip, have you considered de-barbing your jig hook? I have started doing that for crappie and bass. My catch totals have not been affected and I find it WAY easier to remove the hook without damage. sometimes i dont even have to handle the fish just shake the line a bit and off they go!
I took my grandson 10 years old fishing yesterday for the first time it was chilly we didn't anyting but he enjoyed himself however for me I love fishing and I didn't catch anything so I was kind of upset to help me catch crappie better
Mr. Richard, with the knowledge you have, you could start an online college. start thinking about it. And as funny as you get I think you could have given Red Skelton a run for his money. I especially watch you most of the time now because of the wealth of information you have. I've watched a lot of guys fishing on youtube, but there are a couple of places (when I can get the money to do it because I'm on disability) I would love to take you. You would really love it. Well my friend I have to go. Blessings to you, Mamma Sue, and Boom Dog. Bishop Kirby

How deep were you fishing on this day
If the surface is 55 degrees would the water down deep be the same or warmer in the winter?
Warmer for sure without a doubt 100%.
