Just bought a new bowmar nose button and it improved my shooting 100%
That’s awesome buddy thank you so much for using the nose button!
@@BowmarBowhunting what stabilizer setup is that?
Mine should arrive in Norway very soon, cant wait to install it!
I know i love mine!
@@BowmarBowhunting are u going total ranch fairy and switch to razor sharp coc I always wondered even with all that power in the bows you had in the past and not getting pass threws on Hollywood, and wires and all the other big whitetails u have killed hope u got away from them horrible mechanicals
Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older. But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.
Couldn't tell what's more impressive: how easy you draw #90, how controled you draw down that amount of energy or how small is the group at such large distance. Congrats, you're a beast!
He’s a beast .. hella powerful arms and back
Thanks for sticking up for us guys that put the work in all year of tweaking, trying different things, and figuring out what it takes to become a better archers. 👍
Africa hunt would be a hunt of a life time!!!
This following Chris Bee?!?! What a day
Ikr i’m trying to get them to Colab
That’s what I’m saying hahaha
I filmed this 4 days ago lol. It’s been uploaded to UA-cam for 2 days, but we weren’t launching it till today because we launched Sarah’s turkey hunting yesterday
@@BowmarBowhunting you gonna ever colab with Chris? Or how about have Levi Morgan out on a hunt?
John Dudley built one for Joe Rogan a month ago so really there behind .... as always! NOCK ON ol son!
Josh, you are a true BEAST with a bow. You could have won the TAC truck with groups like that.
"WHY SHOOTING A 90 POUNDS BOW??? BECAUSE I CAN"... BEST ANSWER EVER!!!
Hahaha
U can’t please everybody josh. Haters will hate, do yo thing my man... thanks for always educating and being positive 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Wow! Watching an archer who is dialed in is always fun.
I will add another "that grouping at 100 yards is AMAZING !!!". I ordered these 90lb limbs and mine came "locked", I bench press 37 lbs and my string won't pull back . . . Why not? (Lots of sarcasm there, I'm not sure if you could hear it, LOL) The most exciting thing to me was hearing you say "PSE is developing" . . . I am a PSE shooter. Love it! THANK YOU for your comment on long range shots/ethical or not. I have discussed this many times with fellow archers, and the discussions very greatly, you put the comment perfectly. I enjoy long range practice for the shear joy and impressive nature of witnessing geometry. If I feel comfortable taking the shot, and am confident in my current scenario . . . "Send It!" I began when preparing for Colorado Elk hunts. I have taken a doe at 64 yards in Kansas, open field - it went perfectly.
I think I know the answer to this (as with any poundage - and arrows that are too light): What would you consider a "too light" arrow to be at 90 lbs? Does a hunter "need to build an arrow as heavy as you have? I see the benefit as you describe with the windage potential change . . . just curious as to your thoughts.
Thanks for your posts, keep'em coming.
The " I bench press 37lbs" folded me 😂
@@notundermywatch3163 Same bahahahahaha
That’s one helluva group!
Josh might actually be Thor in disguise. Homie pulled that bow back like it was butter. Awesome
Heck of a group. Definitely agree with your philosophy.
Wow, and people gave me crap for practicing at 70 yards. This year I will stretch it to 80 yards. So when that elk steps out at 40yards, it will be 1/2 as easy 😎. Thanks for the great content! Will be looking forward to this new bow. My 70lb bowtech Is running out of steam at 70 yards with 500gr projectiles.
You meant twice as easy not half as easy lol....I would edit that
That group is unreal.
That 101 yard group is unbelievable
Nice group there Hercules or Deercules. Even that flyer is a kill shot and on the same level horizontally. That's one insane 😳 setup.
For anyone being a negative keyboard warrior, this is his passion and lifestyle, the main thing he does outside of being a husband and father. He knows what he is doing.
Good luck on your grizzly hunt.
You’re the 🐐 of archery.
Since you guys have gone sponsorship free I feel your content has really made an extra step forward. Variety is always a plus in my opinion. It really helps us the viewers decide what best suits our needs. Great content 👍
Dude congrats on being a super soldier!
I love this - very concise and entertaining- awesome setup.
Thanks Cole!
The nose button really helps shrink group size!!
That is an insane group for 100 yards
PSE is doing great things nowadays. Kinda wish I wasn’t so quick to pull the trigger on the Mathews V3... I would’ve loved to shot one of their new 2021 bows!
What a beast. That 100 yard grouping is nuts!
Dude, Josh I respect the way you get your point across and still are cool but extremely informative super knowledgeable and just down to earth u are!
Josh You never cease to impress me, you are an unbelievably trained archer and you put in the work. Which is awesome to see, I’ve considered you one of the most ethical hunters out there simply because of the shots you are able to make, and they are unbelievably awesome. Keep up the great work and as always thank you for the tips, it’s been helping me and a lot of other people!
That's an outstanding group at 100!
im waiting the day a bow company will build a 150lb compound bow for me to test. Would be interested to break some speed records
in case you didn't know this is the legend that pulls 138lb recurve with ease and he is working on 150lb recurve now. Verified draw weight evidence with ruler and tension scale: ua-cam.com/video/ewV-iUBeGuI/v-deo.html
Jack, you would certainly not be able to pull back a 150lb compound. You think manchu bows are front loaded, compound bows are insane in that regard. I was shooting 120lb longbows and it still took some adjustment to get into shooting 80lb compounds. This had a lot to do with the f/d curve, not quite so much about strength, but it goes to show they are very different.
@@dgriswold93 no 150 lb compound exist besides crossbow prods
Will never happen because nobody will buy them
WOW YOU SHOOT 90 POUNDS!!!! Crazy keep up the bow vids they help me for my competitions!!😃🎯
Best hunter and teacher on UA-cam. That smile, that damned smile.
Tim Wells is the best....no sight on bow..no range finder.....check out his wolf shot..
Good shooting!! Can’t wait for them 90 pound limbs to hit the woods!! Good luck hunting
Bruh you shoot groups at 100 better than some ppl can shoot at 30. Love the vids and info you share!
Thanks bud we appreciate it!
I'm a firm believer in the fact that a man knows what he's capable of. If I have a clear shot i'm capable of a 60 yard shot all day. Regardless of what anyone else thinks, I'm taking the shot.
Draw length is also a key factor in the speed. It looks like you are 30+. I have a long draw, but my son is 26-26.5 and he struggles to get the same kinds of speeds, however he can get more foc with a lighter setup which helps him as well.
thanks for the content. Have a great bear hunt.
100% Josh!! Keep doing what you are doing!! Thanks for sharing!!
For the love of God, remember that Josh works out like a beast and is knowledgeable about the human body. That's why he can pull 90 like he does.
That’s what I’m sayin haha I mean look at the guy! I’m happy at 76lbs haha
I plan to work up to 90lbs one day, as long as these limbs go into production. Why not?
@@cynicalclockworks9857 I mean if you can constantly pull it and shoot good go for it. 90lbs isn’t for me but to each there own.
@@402bonecollector I just can't stop tinkering. I currently shoot 80lbs, and my draw is 32.5 inches... who wouldn't wanna see what could be done at 90?
@@cynicalclockworks9857 with your draw and that weight your packing a punch!
This is why I love what you guys do.
im 15 i have no hunting experience and you have inspired me to start hunting as soon as i can get a bow and start practicing i also love your arrow building videos.
Start shooting a bow bro
@@Hungrybird474 i have to have money to buy one
My 14yo got a free lawnmower last summer and I helped him tune it up. He mows lawns, rakes leaves, picks up sticks, stacks firewood, and just general chores for people around town to earn money.
@@RadDadisRad cool
Wow, well God is good and he can point you anywhere.☺
Josh is LITERALLY my hero I'm almost 15 and my dream is to be like him
Thanks man I appreciate it!
Dude wtf you’re a beast! Pulling 90lbs like it’s nothing
I have a 90lb APA King Cobra MT. Took a boar with it. One awesome bow. That PSE bow looks sick
People think his long shots r unethical but they don’t see the work he puts in to all of bow setups. After watching a lot of his videos u see that he cares a lot and is paying attention to every detail with hopes of making the most accurate bow possible. He puts the time in and can constantly hit good shots at long range. Great video good luck on your bear hunt!
DUDE! I've never seen that fast of an arrow speed with that heavy of an arrow! Love it
Insane amount of respect for the time and effort you put into it. Incredible 100 yard group.
I think 90lb and 80lb bows are the future in hunting bows. Because of the smoother cam cycles and 85% to 90% let off. If I could pull a 90lb bow that feels like a 65lb bow sign me up!! Pulse u get to shoot heavy arrows faster like u said.
Unethical is taking a shot your not confident or prepared to take. Josh is a beast and a huge reason why I started building my own arrows and working on my own bow and really pushing myself to become a better archer/hunter
I 100% agree, if you put in the work! It's not unethical! Love your content, thanks for sharing! 👊🏽🇺🇲
Josh gonna make his own bow brand and have em 110 pound bow 50% let off shooting 1000 gran arrows 😂
Haha yes!
No let-off because let-off is lazy.
Ya and take it to the championship to see everyone’s reaction that would be so funny having the arrow go throw the target LMFAO 🤪 🤪 🤪
Yes! More weight, big spine and heavy tip for the win
You are one of my favorite youtubers
Why shoot a 90lb bow??? “Cause I can” good stuff man. Keep it up!!
Unbelievable that’s awesome!!! 571grains flying 304 wow
I wanna see your Cape buffalo arrow speeds out of that bow
240-250 probably
Thank you for standing up for us heavy pound bow guys!!
Couldn’t agree more with your same stance on what’s ethical and unethical. Keep up the good work!
I love heavy arrows. They quiet down speed bows AND they travel like a freight train into whatever you aim at.
Let us know how often you have to tighten the mod screws on that thing. Had issues at 70 lbs even with loctite
Agreed. That’s why shoot an older bow that doesn’t have slide adjustable mods.
I have a set of 80lb limbs coming and have already gotten the same comments “it’s not ethical to shoot beyond 70yds anyways” I’ll have to show them this!!
Perfectly said 🙌🏻
Yikes that grinding noise from those cams is gonna scare off everything
Josh is just built different
Chris Bee wins...lol
Ridiculous bow. Amazing shots that’s impressive
Great words on shooting and what is ethical. Not the same for everyone! Work and practice, then repeat.
Thanks josh for putting in what’s ethical and what isn’t. Had a few people message me bout my turkey that I shot at a long distance. This vid boosted my confidence that much more! I know what I’m comfortable shooting and everyone is different. Thanks again for addressing that.
Totally agree dude thank you!
Hard and consistent work sure does pay off. Thank you for the inspiring and knowledgeable video.
Thanks for watching!
Good grief! Unbelievable what modern equipment and hard work can accomplish these days. You're an anomaly. Impressive
I agree, get that speed as fast as can while shooting good, stuff happens fast and don't need to be super worried about yardage
I think it's so cool seeing you shooting all these different bow brands
If you can comfortably pull it like you can @bowmarbowhunting then why not?! It actually makes it more ethical! I'm moving up from 70# to 80# because I can and if I ever get to try 90 then hell yeah I would! Love your work 🙌
Bowmar is a straight up bad ass keep up the awesome stuff man
Excellent shots even the flyer was a great shot
Awesome guys! That’s a heck of a bow!
Wow, I was not expecting a group that tight at that range. Unbelievable bow and unbelievable shooting.
What a sweet set up Josh. Looks like your getting ready for Africa.
Thanks for sharing yours and Sarah’s set up and teaching us.
As always stay safe and God Bless.
Crazy control on the slow draw!
I absolutely love watching his videos I have been bow hunting for 15 plus years and still learn new things watching his videos great content.
Heavy arrows are the future of archery.
This guy is as strong as an ox. Around 1994 I purchased a PSE SR1000 80lbs. My only bow ever at this draw weight.
Bro I love your whole segment on what is ethical and not ethical. Straight gold. It is the perfect counter argument to what people say is “not ethical”
Wow that's crazy good can't wait to see you out hunting with that 90 beast
It's a stringed atlatl. Throws spears ninety yards. I love it💥💥💥💥💥💥
Excellent group at 100, despite the flier!
Josh so are so enthusiastic about the information you bring to us who follow you, thank you for that. Also, those (even the flier) were just plain "F'n" great shots.
Glad you like them!
!!!! That’s unethi..... 😂 you’re spot on about ethics.
Great video Josh!
AWESOME group!
Can Not wait to see the Alaskan Hunt!
Keep the GREAT content up!
More to come!
that group is insane!
Awesome work. Can't wait for the release
I really like the way you explained ethical shots. Food for thought
I've always felt what he stated was what the definition of ethical shot should be. His 100 yard group is my 30 yard group so that being, ethical shots should be more looked at by the hunter's ability
Awesome, can’t wait for more footage of this thing. You have my dream bow.
Great shooting Josh and I 100% agree with you on being ethical.
Amazing group! Great shooting!
Great articulate explanation, and three awesome shots, you define an archer who puts in the work. Great vids, and I like the knot/d-loop education vid, really made good sense.
Thanks, will do!
90LB’s is insane, no wonder you got the long shot!! 💪🏼
LOVE the PSE!!!!!!! I'm shooting a PSE EVO NTN 33 at #70 with a 700 grain arrow and its eating it up like nothing. cant wait to see some fantastic shots on some animals.
Good luck keeping limbs on that thing. I bought a PSE brand new and shot it for 11 years and couldn't keep limbs on it. Now they don't make parts it anymore and I got the shaft. Hope it works great for you in the long run though, great vid!!
Great shooting and heck of a set up.
Josh!! That Set Up Is Freaking Awesome!!
That Is Some Outstanding Shots!!👍👊
90 pounds bow can’t wait hope it’s the new bow come out all be buying me one can’t wait
Excellent job with your content!
