Another beast of a day, 24 miles and a lot of elevation. Never fun starting the day by packing away a wet tent. I swam in what looked like the exact same spot last week 😂 definitely gives you a lift. Great work, onto part 3 I go
Yeah sometimes the weather can be annoying but when I hike i take it as it comes. I was happy that as the day progressed the weather improved and I got dry. I nearly didn’t swim but glad I did 😊 it’s a great spot.
Hi David glad you enjoyed it. Where did you end up for the evening? Did you wild camp again? It was a lovely evening out on the needles headland and I had a nice sunset too. It was definitely a day of 2 half’s weather wise.
@@RyansNextAdventure I went much slower than you. I visited a friend in Vetnor and then stayed on campsites for the rest of the trip. I agree with you about it being a day of 2 halves!
A wet start Ryan but pleasant throughout the day. Pleasant to come across free apples to. A bit of trail magic doesn't go amiss not the meeting with people. Well pretty cool views - missed the shop but got a good pitch. Mark
It was pretty heavy rain, I don’t mind rain it makes the scenery different but multiple days of rain starts getting tricky with wet gear. Luckily the sun came out and it was a beautiful evening. A very enjoyable day of hiking and a cosy night on the cliffs. Have a good day and thanks for watching my friend.
It was all I could find in the dark lol, it was a very cosy night in the rain and the path was very quiet because of the torrential rain. It was definitely a bit spooky in the woods with the wind. But that’s what I love about wild camping. You never know where you will end up each night. Thanks for watching
@@RyansNextAdventure if you look at any of my early videos it's pretty obvious to see I'm from the Isle of Wight. Now I could have pointed to you inside that landslip to some really good places hidden away. But that's the beauty of wild camping. I'm in Scotland at the moment so I walk like yourself and then as the light starts to fade or maybe an hour before sunset I start looking for pitches. Local knowledge is great. But it doesn't always lead to having a good adventure
@@WildAboutCamping That’s cool that you live on the Isle of Wight, it’s a very nice place. Scotland is an amazing place for adventuring, I lived on the Isle of Bute last winter and loved it. I hope to visit Scotland again very soon. Your channel looks great and I will be checking out your videos, and hats off to you for carrying heavy camera gear whilst hiking, that’s impressive. Maybe our paths will cross one day, take care and happy hiking.
Thank you very much my friend, music can definitely add a lot to a video and atmosphere but I’m trying to keep my videos just with natural sounds. I feel it can be more immersive for the viewer. And I love the sound of nature myself, birds chirping, waves crashing, the rain in the woods. So I’m trying to share those sounds too. Take care and happy hiking.
I’m terrible at pronouncing place names so apologies for butchering some of them, Thankyou for the heads up of the right pronunciation much appreciated. The Isle of Wight is a beautiful place to live. Thanks for watching
@@sandhurstwolves3956 I can understand that, it’s usually not until we grow older we start to appreciate nature more and great views. I’ll definitely be visiting the Isle of Wight again and hiking the inland trails and will probably do the coastal path again.

Great video very inspiring
Thank you Alien, this was a very fun hike and it was definitely challenging in the rain.
Great trip Ryan, beautiful views 👍
Thank you, I was hiking along the cliffs most of the day and the views were beautiful, especially when the sun came out. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Great to see your day 2 and compare it with my experience following behind you. 🙂

@@RyansNextAdventure I'm OK with the rain to Ryan - can't wish it away. Good to hear of the Joy of the day. A pleasure.
Hats off for camping in the landslip on the path. It can be a bit spooky at night time. And not only that plenty of people use the path late at night.
