If you me hi eight tape or tape from a camcorder. It was something I did about 5 years ago and from what I remember I used a sony camera to do this. It sounds strange but I remember It was a certain Sony model (I think it was a SONY DCR-TRV350) that did this. It was a consumer camera that I bought on Ebay. I do not know if they have better machines today. I do not know much about converting tape except the tapes I did for myself and it was like only 20 tapes.
