The Truth About Socialism and Why I'm A Capitalist -Robert Kiyosaki (Millennial Money)

  • We’ve heard a lot the past decade about quantitative easing. Basically, it’s the government taking rich dad’s advice and printing money… literally.
As Robert discusses in his new book, FAKE, there are three things we need to be diligent about as we continue to improve our financial education.
The first of these, FAKE money, is what Robert discusses in today’s video.
The US Treasury creates a bond which they sell to the FED. The FED then turns those bonds into money which is given to the Big Banks. The Big Banks then loan that money to the rich. This money printing process isn’t done for free, however. The taxpayer is the one holding the IOU that the US Treasury created with their bonds.
After Robert discusses how money is created out of thin air through the Mandrake Mechanism, he continues to explain how the US taxpayer is now on the hook for student loans, as well.
Back in 2009, President Obama shifted the flow of money out from the FED and into the hands of the people for their student loans. Where students previously sought their loans through the Big Banks, the loans were now backed directly by the US Treasury.
Robert ends the discussion with a warning about the current Bubble Economy we find ourselves in and how to best prepare for when it pops.

That entire segment where Robert drew the diagram was pure genius! I’ve been following RichDad for a while now and although I understood that the rich don’t work for money it took me a while to really reprogram my brain to understand the saying “the rich don’t work for money”. This video nailed this explanation! Thank you!!!! The debt is the key to extracting wealth and investing in assets is the key to building/keeping wealth. Once you really understand this its simply amazing.

Bruno Hidary Ahhh remember one thing, he covers things all over his books and videos. He mentions a lot that we waits for crashes to happens so the banks can lend him lots of money at 0% interest. He says “I love crashes” a lot. You have to study him a lot because now he says the stock market is fake, which it is, but in RichDadPoorDad he says the stock market is a very powerful wealth building tool. So all of these things depend on how smart you are financially. That’s his main thing. Debt is money since 1971.

Fake started in 1913 with the creation of the Federal Reserve, not 1971. 1971 broke the final link to gold which allowed money printing without limits. The US hasn't had real capitalism since 1913. What Robert should be stating is crony capitalism vs socialism, or better explained as socialism for the rich (neo liberal Keynesian monetary policy). Great video.

It was 1933 with HJR 192 / Public law 73 - 10 (Which give us the right to discharge debt due to having everyones property as collateral for the FEDs printing money). Also in commerce is important to know legalise (legal english).

That's true. Money was printed after 1913. But then it was backed by the Gold standard. It started after world war 2. It was backed by gold until 1971. Ans that's also when they started printing money like crazy and the results of it is hyperinflation

Mr. X , the country can’t give anyone anything. There’s no such thing as government funding or government assistance. It should be called taxpayer assistance because the the elected officials don’t fund the government by themselves. As you know we Americans hire and trust them to represent us through the election process. They decide on what programs to spend our money on even if we agree on it or not. They give themselves fat raised and kick ass Heath insurance while we struggle to live. Do you you think that sanders or warren would give up there kick ass Heath care or give 80% of their money up to socialism? Hell no, so they promise free this and free that and preach about being equal but do they want to be equal? No they ain’t going to pay in their money to the very bullshit that they are trying to sell to the American people. They will stay rich because they have a different system that they go by while the poor and middle class Americans get poorer. They are willing to give away our hard earned money but they won’t give away theirs and be equal. People eat that crock of shit up until it’s their turn to contribute

Kiyosaki is wrong on his analysis anyways.
      1) He starts off by equating exogenous money creation to QE, which is disingenuous. QE is an asset swap, not money creation.
      2) All money, whether endogenous or exogenous, is neither real or fake, as it is not backed by a real physical asset. The amont of endogenous money in the real economy FAR exceeds the amount of central bank money.
      3) Bonds are not exactly an "IOU to the taxpayer". Taxpayers do fund the interest but not the principal, and that interest can be effected by policy. Globally, we are headed towards a world of negative interest rates, where investors will actually PAY the bank to hold bonds.

The US is not a capitalist country.
Capitalism is when the markets control the economy.
Business that sell their products and have good customer service succeed
Businesses that don't sell their products and have poor customer service fail. Aka out of business
    That's capitalism.
The US system is a socialist type of system
For one, the US has 70 or more Welfare Programs like WIC, EBT (which replaced food stamps), SNAP, etc. It also has corporate welfare:
    Tax abatement
Able to shelter money through retirement pension programs (401k, Roth IRA, IRA, etc.)
Avoid paying state and city taxes through lobbying and giving political financial donations to politicians.
Also, if the banks or big business fail they get a financial bailout.
Ensure new businesses don't come in or don't last very long:
    Buy out the competition
Make small business owners pay for everything (taxes, rent, utilities, etc.)
Make it impossible or complex for entrepreneurs through needing a bunch of permits and licenses plus the equipment needed utterly expensive.
An online business. Make a website sure but the free web builder has very little to no options must pay a monthly fee to have a robust web builder. But if you want to create a business website you must pay more than those that create a blog website. No instructions on how dropship works. Pay Amazon to sell used stuff or try selling online by paying fees and other bullshit which eats your profits. Utterly lame.
Where is the capitalism that everyone talks about. There is no pure capitalism in the US.
As bad as Mexico is portrayed as a dirt poor country. Is a country that is easy to run and operate a small business:
    Street vending
Economic kitchen (turn your house kitchen into a commercial kitchen)
Hardly any regulations or licenses to run and operate a business.

Venezuela’s economy is really bad because of
socialism is not entirely true. Prior to Chavez, the Capitalist system had 80%+Venezuelans in poverty and 40% of those in poverty lived in shanty towns. After
Chavez was elected he took the wealth of the country away from the few and made
the people the wealthy resource owners. The resources are plentiful in
Venezuela. Poverty collapsed, education went up, health care became one of if not the best
in S.A., families could actually own property, a car and a house and go to
school. The mistake Venezuelans made was 2 fold. Keep your country diversified
and remove your assets from any central banking system; or at the very least
only use a transaction account with minimal risk. The country has cash, gold,
oil and precious minerals. Those countries that brown nose (USA+) the western central
banking system have declared financial war on the people of Venezuela i.e. The
Socialist system. The capitalist are now crying because the wealth of the few is now
going to the many. After watching the propaganda machine at work against
Venezuela it is easy to see why the media (owned by corporate America and
others) went into overdrive. Heaven forbid if that system caught on in America…the natural resources of our nation would be owned by the people and not private
corporations and the millennials wouldn’t have
    to own all this debt!

      " After

In other words, he stole the fruits of the labor of the more competent and redistributed it amongst the incompetent. He took the fish from those who knew how to fish and gave it to those who didn't. Which enabled the latter to never learn, because they got it for free anyway. Yep, socialism is smart.

I used to listen and learn a lot from Robert for many years, but as I grow older, I start to slowly disagree with him in some aspect. If everyone were to learn from him, do you think you can be a B (big businesses w over 500 employees) since everyone don't want to be an employee? Who's gonna have passion for professions anymore? Will you have anymore professional? Doctor to heal you, engineer to design and build, police to ensure security. I mean, respect everyone. It's easy to comment how the situation is like now, but before commenting, think how the situation would be like if the things were the other way. Sometimes I just get annoyed when he have opinions for these professionals, yes he may be right that most of the professionals may not have a good financial education as he is, but from another aspect, professionals are the ones with their hands on. Good luck for you with your investment if everyone has the same thought and no more passion for professions. I would like to see how ppl survive when there are no more polices. Do more respect

Funny, our schools did not begin indoctrinating with this Marxist garbage until that federal money entered the system, either. True lending based on "need" (read: endless opportunity to raise tuition rates for schools without consequences) began in 1965. My father paid for his education by working a job in school and over the summer. Goodluck with that now.

Combined with self sustaining micro communities, we would see the end of poverty and the end of injustice worldwide. Fuck world trade, fuck growth capital, and fuck consumerism. The 3 evils that lead to injustice and poverty and inequity…. And death and destruction among the lower classes who do not have access to healthcare, proper nutrition, etc etc. its utopian at this point, but i wish it wasnt. And i hope and dream for a world where that exists. If there is one thing about life that is constant, it is change. Change is possible. If we went from being hunter gatherers to agriculturalists to industrialists.. totally changing what it means to be alive in human society…. Our current unjust disgustingly work centered and obsessed with growth and production and consumerism to the point where human, animal, and environment dont mean shit anymore to anyone…… can change into one where we care for one anothers basic needs and our happiness and have that for every human on earth be the priority and the only thing that matters🤍even the fucking pope dissed the growth obsession diseased mindset and consumerism in “laudato si”….. then u have guys like this dude openly flex the fact that theyve aided in the lower class suffering .. like he’s proud of it or some shit. Its an obsession with money and its disgusting. People talk about hoarders being crazy and mentally unstable/disordered, yet they look up to people like dude in the video who compulsively hoards money for no fucking reason other than a life of excess off the backs of those who struggle. Money aint shit. Money was created as a means of trade. It should only serve that purpose. Instead of a gift economy wherein I give you the corn I grew and expect you to give me clothes later on (which works), I’ll give you a dollar, and you give me clothes, so you can use that dollar to buy something else that helps you cover a basic need. Thats it. None of the pathological greed and addictive NEED to live lavishly while others struggle. Trips me up. FUCK THAT.

Communism is not = Socialism. Communism is full 100% ownership by the public (government) of the means of production. Socialism is the inbetween of any % of public ownership or public regulation.
Capitalism is a pricing mechanism. Socialism is a regulation mechanism. When talking about means of production, they can overlap if you're talking about socialist pricing / ownership of production, however, you can have capitalist AND socialist societies. Canada for example.
Pure capitalism is bad at things like healthcare, so you socialize the "Production/service", but most things in Canada are a blurred balanced mix of capitalist pricing / ownership and socialist regulation.

This is wrong by pretty much any traditional idea of the term. If we go back to Marx etc. then socialism (or lower stage communism) is a system in which the proletariat has established a class dictatorship (i.e. seized the means of production ...) and communism (or higher stage communism) is a system in which social classes have been abolished.
