Please note that the first couple of episodes are Anomaly RC22 version, however, the rest of the series will be on version 1.5.1 (and any other future updates made). There is very little difference between RC22 and 1.5.1 in noticeable gameplay terms, so don't worry about that :) Thanks for watching!

@@NezerCz do you mean minimap? You enable that in the options menu under the Visual -> UI/HUD menu and just enable minimap.

thanks for these guides man - installed it today and my first 3 "playthroughs" ive died to the boars on the first mission - I wont be defeated though this is what tarkov was like when i first played

I am a beginner, I got stalker for buying my Amd phenom 965 BE never played it, love tarkov and I had to take a break from it. Seeing as this seems like the roots of tarkov I thought I’d give it a try. Man is it brutal. But following your guide I’ve lived longer than my other 5 times. Thanks for the tips and stash spots. You are the man, loving anomaly I may go back and play the stalker series while quarantined

I almost decided to skip looting in this vid & go to number 3 but I'm glad I didn't! I was able to get shotgun & handgun ammo from the farm and got into quite a few fights along the way, it was a lot of fun!

Love the series so far. I'm curious, does loot have a chance to spawn/respawn in empty stashes/containers after a period of in-game time? Also do breakable crates respawn?
Thanks for watching! So stashes are kinda weird how they work. If you find a stash and loot it, it will not respawn the loot. However, if you find a stash coordinates of a previously looted stash in a PDA off a corpse or as a reward, yes loot will respawn in said stash. That's the only way loot will respawn in previously looted stashes.
As far as the breakable crates go... I'm going to say that they don't respawn. As far as I know, the only things that respawn on a consistent basis are NPCs, mutants, and artefacts after emissions.

forgot to mention that when you get certain achievements it gives you a reward like better trading with traders, 25% chance of boxes having more items, chances at surrendering stalkers giving you stash coordinates, and even more factions to play as!

hello thank you for the video. i have the original shadow of Chernobyl but did not played much. Do you think I can just play anomaly or do I miss something if I skip the original game? Is this harder or? Is it easy i to install or I need extra mods for it to work with newer system?
You can just play Anomaly. It is much harder than the original games but the experience in the zone is much more enhanced. I just recommend playing the original trilogy just for the story, not for the gameplay lol.
I'm not a beginner, finished soc, cs, and cop so I expected the regular hard difficulty of stalker but apparently, stalker anomaly is way harder than other stalker games and I wasn't aware of this.
I died 5 times at the start and I started to play hardcore, spamming f5... Thanks to your guide now I play cheeki breeki style. This game changed me a lot, now I hear bandit radio theme when I'm trying to sleep and someone whispers to me from nowhere that ''they didn't destroy me, they can't destroy me''. please make a guide of the solution for this types of symptoms, thanks.

AMD USER TIPS:
If you are experiencing studder no matter how low you set the settings and are running Ryzen, install then open AMDs Ryzen Master. Locate and disable "Simultaneous multithreading" then hit apply. Should do it!
Also if you are experiencing extremely long load times, make sure you are running as administrator and NOT using ANY kind of compatability mode. Does something to how it recalls save files. Went from 5-10 min load times to like 3 seconds!! Good Luck STALKERs!

The achievements in Anomaly are not like Steam achievements... They are actually "perks" that you get for doing specific things. For example, bringing all 3 tiers Tools to a mechanic will give you the Mechanized Warfare achievement, which makes you better at repairing your equipment.

@@SixxsBunker You weren't wrong, some of the achievements are really just that, bragging rights (like Invictus), but I just wanted to point out, for newcommers, that it's actually a good idea to try to finish those achievements as they give pretty nice bonuses :)

i recently found out about Anomaly, i played lot's of stalker but something like 10 years ago so i'm pretty much green on this, i'm finding some difficulties with the repair system which is a bit tricky
Yeah the repair system takes a bit to get used to, but once you get the concept of it it's easy to do. I'll try to cover it in future episodes, however there are some pretty good repair guides on UA-cam for Anomaly. I'm telling you, it looks intimidating at first but once you get the hang of it, it definitely comes in handy at some points!

How do you find stashes? I know you show us a bunch but I picked CS so I'm in the great swamp lol
Lol you kinda have to find the stashes. Some of them become known to you since they can be given as quest rewards. Some PDAs you find off of dead NPCs can tell you the locations of stashes as well. If you want to know where every stash is, you can google the maps. I think they may even have the info in the Stalker Anomaly discord ;)
So does a stash stay empty when you loot it, or does it randomize items in it after a few in game days?
Hey and thanks for watching! The stash stays empty, unless you pick up a PDA that gives you coordinates for that same stash, or as a result of a mission you get those stash coordinates. Only then will new loot appear. Otherwise it stays empty.

Early game: loot everything, take every job, talk to every stalker. Find or buy a spas12 and decent scoped rifle like an94 or svt40. Next must have is a good gas mask. 😁👍

don't go for a SPAS-12. It's very heavy and rather inaccurate. And (probably due to being pistol-gripped), it kicks very much. The MP-153 (or is it 155?) you can get from Butcher is a more sensible choice. Same capacity, less weight, easier aiming (and yes, the spas has auto-fire, which is utterly useless).
But long term you don't want to use anything with a tube magazine. Makes not only reloading, but ammunition change very cumbersome and ill-advised in combat. Get a Saiga or a Vepr-12, the difference is marginal (8 vs 10 shot box magazines and weight). Both also mount reflex sights, very helpful in low light conditions. They also mount silencers, which I find helpful, because it means any "bang" is someone unloading on me (there would be other reasons irl like avoiding going deaf and no flash and dust-clouds, but they aren't really in game).
I am one of those lunatics who play survival mode, my order would be "obtain any shotgun" (cause I didn't get to start with one, but don't buy it), then geiger counter (cause I don't get ghostly radiation warnings without one). Respirator is fine for the moment, as for scoped rifle, the importent part is scoped, any half decent looted AK will do. I aim for eventually restoring an AEK-971, since while there is very little ammunition when playing hard/survivalist, this is the one most common in the first areas. Any 54R and so on is much more useful later, bandit heads are rather poorly armoured...

Yeah when I do my playthroughs, my endgame loadout in terms of weapons is definitely a Vepr, either a very good 5.56 or 7.62 weapon, and (if i have the carry capacity) a sniper rifle... although I usually don't carry one since I tend to have a long-range scope for the assault rifle I'm carrying and use the Vepr for close quarter combat. I usually play on Hard/Survivalist as well, which makes this playthrough feel weird since I'm used to the hardcore elements lol. But lots of people have been asking me lately how to play, hence I'm doing this series. I will try to mimic to the best of my abilities my usual playthroughs, which usually end up having the weapons you mentioned :) Thanks again for watching !

I started a 1.5.0 game a few weeks ago, unaware that 1.5.1 was soon to be released, that's how I landed here, when I found out. Got a duty NBC-suit to loot which seems like the most OP-thing ever. Allright ballistic resistance (after upgrades), ridiculous carry capacity, generally very good protection from environmental effects, at just about 10kg.
And btw: I'm pretty sure it would be educational for newer players if you were to increase the difficulty (incrementally) during the tutorial series, as they get a grasp of the fundamentals. Otherwise they will pick up bad habits which are hard to lose once aquired. Also this probably is good for viewer retention.
PPS: the "hunters kit must be eqipped" option (in Gameplay options) seems to be new? I would deactivate that one. It would make it impractical to use a hunters kit once you get better backpacks, with no logical reason for it to be so.
how do I know what to sell and what to keep?
Yo,I realized one thing that these anomaly videos on UA-cam lose quality and look blurred/kinda pixelated on open world area while it look crisp in menu and inventory stuff.
Yeah it has to do with all that vegetation as well as the sharpness of the grass. Very common in games like this and Tarkov for example.

Haven't played a stalker game. I know a new one is coming out soon and I found out ab anomaly. Is this a good intro to the series? Or should I play an actual stalker.
This is a decent place to start, since in my opinion it's the most complete Stalker experience. However, if you really like this game and get immersed, I recommend playing the original games to really experience the story which takes place 6 years before Anomaly :)

Quick question are the emissions always forecasted?
@@TsoiIzAlive Yes, you get frequent reminders (e.g. an emission will happen in 6-12 hours) in your PDA feed. You will also be notified right before an emission so you can run for cover. All that should be enabled by default in the Emission options.

When i first tried anomaly, i went as a freedom member, and i remember i didn t know there were bases and such, so i took the shortest route i saw to the quest, which was through that duty base, rostok i believe, well, i kinda wiped it out somehow, i even got an exoskeleton from somebody but the thing was, i was bleeding or smt and till i reached home i was almost always dead e.e
Edit - this was actually like a year ago, ik i haven t rlly played after that, but i m trying it again now

And it depends. If the weapon/outfit it's too damaged, its better to scrap it for components that you can use for repairing future equipment.

hey, im writing cuz i met a problem. Playing military campaing story mode, im after wishgranter. I heard that there is 3rd part of story that you need to gets some achievements ingame, maybe some1 of you guys know how im suposed to start this part of storyline? the main fraction guys have not any dialogue option
Hey man! Yeah that third quest is the worst out of the 3, and there will be various instances when this happens. I believe what triggers it is that you have to wait for a couple of days, like 2-3 days then you'll get a quest trigger from your faction leader or the main char of that quest line. I'll refresh my memory when we get there in the playthrough but I believe that's what does it. That third quest is a bitch... but it's doable ;)

Probably a bit late to comment but is the shooting a bit better in Anomaly or is it about the same.
As far as I know and from what I've seen myself, the shooting is by far better in Anomaly than any other mod I've played. There are also addons that tweak the ballistics on the moddb page.

So, for whatever reason when I started none of my load out actually spawned with me. I basically started as if I hadn't used any of the 1000 points. Now, I've managed to get some supplies, meds and guns, but since I had to loot that off bandit corpses they're in awful condition, ammunition is scarce, and I am super low on money. What would be a good way to continue?
Wait how did you load in with nothing after using up all your points? That's super weird... Save just in case and restart a new game to see if you can replicate the issue. Are you using any addons?

I don't have a minimap and can't use my PDA. What's wrong
My farm had bandits in it. I had to run back to the beginning because i killed one and all the loot he had made me over encumbered.
Yeah the bandits sometimes take over the farm. I've gotten jumped a few times when I assumed all was well at the farm lol
How come i cant figure out where the prone or melee button is?
There's not really a prone button. It's the "crouch" and "walk/lower crouch" button at the same time. And there is no melee button neither, you have to have the knife equipped in the 1 slot.

The radio in this game is amazing!! The fact that you can listen to it on your PDA while you explore is an awesome feature. You can also create customized playlists :)

@@KyzoFox Some tasks don't have a specific location (e.g. obtain patches, obtain mutant parts, etc.). The ones that are at specific locations should be visible (e.g. contract killer missions)
Why most of the weapons I retreive from enemies are almost destroyed? Is it worth to repair them? The cost at the technician is huge!
Hey, thanks for watching! It is a "feature" of the game. Mostly every weapon you find is in shit condition due to the unforgiving nature that is the game (there are addons in the Anomaly moddb page that makes it less obnoxious). In the end, it is cheaper to repair items yourself. If you have enough money, you can pay the technician. When I'm streaming or recording, and time is of the essence, I mostly end up paying the technician unless I happen to stumble upon the right parts. However, when I play offline and not recording, I tend to take my time and grind to find the parts needed. It feels good repairing stuff yourself ;)
Most stalker veterans and hardcore players like to repair, but it takes time to get all the equipment and repair kits. Each type of weapon has their own repair kits (rifes, shotguns, etc.) so it's definitely a grind. You choose if it's worth it or not, that's the beauty of this game :) I will cover this aspect in future episodes!

i have a question. So does this game contain the story from the original game or did the modders make their own quests
The modders made their own quests. The 3 main story lines somewhat mimic the original trilogy, but this game/mod takes place a few years after Call of Pripyat (I want to say 6 years). That's why I recommend playing the original trilogy in order to understand what's going on, but you don't have to. They give some backstory in the main quest lines. From the Moddb page the questlines are:
Part 1: Living Legend: a famous stalker has returned to the Zone. Pursue him in order to obtain his invaluable knowledge.

Part 3: Operation Afterglow: the Zone attracts a lot of attention. However, some people believe that its many secrets are best kept hidden.

Part 4: Hollow Boundaries: play as a member of a foreign force to investigate and reveal the secrets of the Zone.
With the main quest and all the side quest, be prepared to spend hundreds of hours playing this game. I have about 50hrs in, and haven't been past the Army Warehouse yet.
Guide is not for beginners in Anomaly, but for STALKER overall. I believe majority played at least 1 stalker game before jumping into Anomaly.
Could be cut down to 10 minutes tbh
For lots of people, Anomaly is their first Stalker experience, which is why I went full blown explanation lol
The most difficult part of this game is finding Basic Tools
Does this game even let you track a location? Im finding it unplayable since im vaguely moving towards any task. Checking the pda every 100 steps seems really ridiculous
Don't quote me on this but I believe if you enable the minimap, an arrow will appear showing you the direction of the quest you have targeted.

It'd have been more useful to do an overview of what you should keep and what you should sell for new players. Hoarding in looters is a big problem.

main thing i struggle with is finding many good ad vanced weapon and armor upgrade kits, wich i cant of dont know how to use instantly, where to store them? instead of selling wich is a shame
like is there any stashes i can use or a safehouse with storage/vault i can buy to store items i dont want to sell yet?
Stashes are all over the zone, also you can create your stashes by crafting/buying backpacks and making them stashes. Every major faction base should have stashes (e.g. in the bar in Rostok, in Sid's bunker in Rookie Village, etc.). Also, it doesn't cost money to store things in predefined stashes, whatever you put in there, stays there :)

@@fakag9989 Lol yeah a co-op mod would be amazing but from what I've been told by the devs, the engine is not capable of creating a co-op/multiplayer environment. So hopefully, Stalker 2 has at least co-op :)

Nope, it should work on vanilla anomaly 1.5.1 (which is what I'm using for the video, no mods yet). Just press F when those things run up to you to kick them.

Not sure, I was running vanilla settings. Maybe I tweaked the visual options a bit to get a bit more saturation.
How do you see the anomalys bru?
Some Anomalies you can tell when there are particle effects, noises, or even distortions in the air. There are a couple of them that are invisible, so you have to throw bolts to check for anomalies if you suspect them ;)
