Well done! After watching your clip I realized the scene was even more ironic than I originally thought when I saw it on the big screen. I had missed the line about teenagers cranking up the volume and banging their heads to it. Nice splice.
It's 2021 and my daughters are 12, 9, and 8. They love this song! And "Don't stop me now". We have the Greatest Hits 3 disc set. We listen to it all the time!
A Perfect timed split between the films. Especially for anyone who hasn't seen Wayne's World and didn't get the inside joke with Mike Myers in Bohemian Rhapsody. Now it be more funny if they made a Wayne's World 3 and they continue the joke. Just imagine Wayne and Garth putting on Bohemian Rhapsody in their car as tradition, still banging their heads. Once the song is done Wayne and Garth talk about the movie, Garth looks at Wayne and says "What was he thinking, not putting out Bohemian Rhapsody? Here we are Wayne listening to the song banging our heads!" Wayne just shrugs and says "As Mr. Mercury has said, I pity his wife for he thinks six minutes is forever."
@@paulmark992 No, this video is just showing the reference between this scene in Bohemian Rhapsody and that famous scene in Wayne's World which features Mike Myers banging his head in his car to the aforementioned song unlike how Myers' character claims in Bohemian! 😅
I didn't know he was in the movie, it took me six years to bother to watch, and didn't believe this was him even when someone mentioned it.. until at one point he raised his voice slightly and I was reminded of Austin Powers. In general though it was a fairly subtle cameo and didn't spoil anything
Queen at live aid “we are the champions, we are the champions” Cuts to a scene of ray foster looking miserable “No time for losers cause we are the champions…”
It's not that he was wrong...the funny part is that it was Mike Myers (aka Wayne) telling them that the song would never be played by kids in a car banging their heads! It was a direct reference to Wayne's World!
It wasn't ironic. They wrote those lines on purpose specifically for Mike Myers since it was his idea to put Bohemian Rhapsody in Wayne's World. He helped that song get back on the charts thanks to that Wayne's World scene.
Everyone above a certain age laughed when Mike Myers said that in the movie. 👍
g cantstansya I’m 14 and I was the only one in the cinema who laughed.
love that gatekeeping
I’m 14 and I laughed.
19 and I laughed. I have to admit that I didn't get it the first time though.
It shows your age if you get this reference.
I was the only person in the movie theater that laughed when Mike Meyers said that line
I laughed so much and yeah I think I was the only one. Love Wayne´s World and Bohemian Rhapsody.
I got teary eyed watching this part. Brought me back to 1992!
Wait a sec, is that Mike Meyers? I'm blind. and did you make a similiar comment to 9gag?? a comment like that made me look up that video lol.
You were not alone brother. There were many of us who are guilty as charged.
I did too
Its a cracking line.
But they got Mike Myers to say it, so now its movie history.
Brilliant
I think we’ll go with a little bohemian rhapsody gentleman
Good call
0:41 Wayne's W🌎rld, Wayne's W🌎rld, party time, excellent, 🎸🎶🎵.
This was the first thing I thought of when I saw Mike Myers in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Haha, it was a direct reference to Wayne's World!

I only hope to know half of this poetic justice in my life one day
I was the only one in my showing of Bohemian Rhapsody that got the joke, everybody else just shrugged their heads.
EXCELLENT!!! Damn right bohemian rhapsody is the song we all headbang in our cars!!! Waynes world 4ever!!!
Party on dude!!!
Three people prefer “I’m in love with my car.”
When I watched this film in cinemas, this scene popped up and I accidentally shouted "I understood that reference"
A few years later
Wayne's World fue lo que primero pense cuando vi esa parte jajajaja

Did the waynes world scene actually appear in the bohemian rhapsody movie?

Any other actor other than Mike Myers saying that line “teenagers banging their heads to” it wouldn’t be as funny
I laugh high, my wife asks why.... and i whisper her and speak after exit and she understood

Best “easter egg”. 😎
Loved that scene
Full Circle
Pretty funny Mike Myers playing a role slagging a song that made his movie iconic lol
Such a full circle Moment
17 years later
A brilliant refferance
Let’s not ignore Dana Carvey as Elton John sitting next to Bob Geldof on the couch.
Roy Foster aka Mike Meyers: lets put I’m in love with my car as the lead single instead
The rest of the band: *groans
Roger: hey!
Funniest scene in the movie! LMAO
kkkk acho que foi a parte mais divertida do filme! para quem assistiu Wayne´s World, claro.
Oh, how the tables have turned 😂😂😂😂
OmG
I was the only one who laughed our loud...
Excellent!!!! Scwing
Oh, the irony! (chuckles)
He contradicted himself he said Bohemian Rhapsody will never be that song as Ray Foster yet as Wayne Turner that was his playlist song.
Wayne Campbell.
Jajajaja ame esa parte!!!
Yo tambien!
I see Ray Foster disliked this video (one dislike)
2 dislikes now. Might be Paul prenter
RIP LOL
Hahahah how ironic!! 😂
It's not ironic, it was a sneaky direct reference to Wayne's World!
All i hear is shrek hahahaha lmmfao im sorry i had to say it. #mikemyers
He made the executive to an Ogre.
lol same!
Pity Shrek was Scottish not from Yorkshire. It was more cat in the hat cupcake scene.
I prefer I'm in Love With My Car
Does Ray not know that "The Prophet's Song" is 8 minutes long.
You were saying Ray Foster?
So bohemian rhapsody is waynes world multiverse
Mike Myers 2018 vs Mike Myers 1992
Ray Foster 1975 vs Wayne Cumbell 1992
Wayne Campbell.
Irony at its best
Boy was he wrong.
Dude... You should have let the song play out
They should have added this into the bohemian rhapsody movie😂
Huh? They did.
Dont challenge destiny
How Wrong he was how wrong he was indeed
It's not that he was wrong...the funny part is that it was Mike Myers (aka Wayne) telling them that the song would never be played by kids in a car banging their heads! It was a direct reference to Wayne's World!
Ironic

Collette Nicole you don’t have to state the obvious. I know that.
Oh how wrong was he.
Fun fact: he is Wayne
