I think i read something that those people went to go see another concert and they filmed a few songs but im not sure if true
I was wayyyyy too young to have seen Queen live. But having been one of the people *in* that crowd for 'We Will Rock You' and 'Fat Bottomed Girls', it sure did feel like i'd experienced a real Queen concert.
Saw the film last night. Be ready to cry! I SOBBED. Such a beautiful portrayal of Freddie. Rami Malek is OUTSTANDING. And the rest of the band are so perfect you’d be forgiven for thinking you really are watching them back in the day
Even after i watched this clips i thought i am watching them back in the day..can't wait for the movie to hit theater..

Took my teen daughter to watch the film. She knew absolutely nothing about this band except some songs she recognized from some other films. Today she is obsessed, listening to their songs, telling me to buy the DVD when it comes out (which I definitely will) but in the meantime she wants to go watch it again, as do I. Rami and everyone else did an amazing job in this film.

Just saw the movie this evening. It is pretty awesome. The recreation of the live scenes especially were incredible. Like nothing that's ever been done before in a musical biopic to be honest. Usually music movies fluff over that stuff but not here. It makes you feel like you time travelled to see Queen live at certain points. Incredible work from everyone involved. The "professional critics" get it sooo wrong! (again!). Go see it if you like Queen.

The Live Aid scene is some of the best cinematic work I've ever seen.
I absolutely LOVED this film. I laughed. I cried. It was incredible. Rami Malek did an amazing job as Freddie. The live aid concert scene was particularly extraordinary. They had it down to a T, right down to the Pepsi cups on the piano.

Wow. I decided to go and see this tonight after originally pre-ordering on amazon. Damnnn glad I did. This was an incredibly powerful performance from the entire cast. Brian May even looks like Brian May. All band members were superb. I was not ready for the extreme emotion this invoked in me right from the start. Fantastic performances of iconic Songs from an iconic band. I am seldom impressed by anyone playing,or impersonating the original singers and was worried about this but this was phenomenal. I so badly wanted to get out of my seat and jump around as part of the crowd.
Loved the movie!! They did amazing!!! Also I wish I could’ve met Freddie back when. He was as much a cat dad as I am a cat mom hahaha. That little fact to me was so cute and well put in to the film. He was an amazing man who lived life to the full right till the end! ❤️

Loved the movie.....
It is now February 26, 2019 as I write. Ober the moon that Rami nailed the Oscar for this. Wow, his acceptance speech was so moving. He slipped, seamlessly into Mercury's character and paid him homage by hard work, and real dedication on this project - And because of that, Freddie lives again for all of us. Simply wonderful, in every possible way...
