So glad I came of age in that era(94-04) 11-21. Metal was actually cool and there was always a badass live show with three killers minimum on every ticket. Even the jocks and preps were getting in on it that's how hard it was crushing the music scene. Mudvayne won best new artist with Dig , that says it all.

I just saw Flaw, (hed)p.e., Adema and Crazy Town front row 3 days ago, couldn’t have been an inch closer to that god damn stage man! The most NuMetal tour we have gotten in forever! Met everyone but Flaw, but seeing them all that close up changed my musical world for life, feeling their spit and sweat drip on you, and that mic wire slapping you every other second is a feeling like no other and i wish everyone gets to experience something like it.
I saw Flaw with Sevendust a long ass time ago. Dude I miss these days of Flaw. Back when Chris Voltz wasn't a racist piece of shit and back when all the original members were in the band- that had such an amazing live dynamic but I don't think I'd go to see them nowadays knowing how Chris can act. It was nice to get to see them back in the day though.
@@AhYesIndeedItsFunTime haha, funny you say that. I saw them open for Sevendust and I remember sort of calling out that guitarist. I felt like he was sort of trying too hard to rip off KoRn. haha
Great old show, thank you for this!! Just caught Flaw again live this past month at the Metal in the Mountains show. Chris has a tramp stamp that says "FLAW", that's hilarious!!! lol
I somehow got a hold of a promotional CD that had like 15 bands on it including Adema and some other bands, Flaw was on there and I thought wow, this is absolutely amazing so I got their first album that just came out and listened to it forever. Great times
@Benjamin Michael U This lineup reformed back in November 2013 with promises of a new album. I really had high hopes at first; Chris wasn't drinking onstage (or seemingly at all), they were playing a lot of shows and even playing songs they hadn't played in years. But as time went on there was yet to be any material released and by the time Divided We Fall was released in 2016, guitarist Lance Arny and drummer Chris Ballinger had split. After DWF more drama went down and bassist Ryan Juhrs left. I think Jason Daunt (who co-founded the band with him in 1996) left last, because at that point he'd finally had enough. Chris Volz has had rampant alcohol and substance abuse issues throughout the band's history. At this point, he's the only founding member left in the band. Allegations include being addicted to meth, beating his girlfriend and being egotistical such as claiming Flaw to be "his band", which it pretty much is at this point since none of the OG members want to play with him anymore. It's a really sad situation because the man definitely has talent, but he just can't defeat his demons.
@@stardmg I'm gonna agree with you. After what recently happened with the newer album Because of the Brave and the plagiarism issues (I'm sorry, how are you the primary member and not know that your guitarist basically stole half your album from other artists), it's been hard for me to root for FLAW. They got me through my toughest years in high school and college, and the lyricism has some true depth to it. But the ego is a terrible beast and in the case of this band, it got the best of them.
@@stardmg I can tell you that almost all that information is incorrect, he is not addicted to meth, nor beating his wife. Jason Daunt was let go because of internal issues, he had demons of his own. And yes he is the frontman and he did no have knowledge of the plagiarism that has been committed at the time, that's why the resolve it with the authors.
