    Hi Sandro. Another great review. I love the WGDGPS. It really is one of the best sealants Ive tried. Im not sure if youre formula is different to the ones ive used, but one of the reason I love the WGDGPS is its ease of removal. Cured overnight normally, it literally is like wiping off a layer of dust, and Im not exagerating. I always apply via DA using the soft finishing/applicator pad I have

    First let me start by mentioning I learnt a lot from your detailing videos, they are much close to reality and shows the real prospect of any product. I am just a weekend warrior who loves to keep his black car shiny and as clean as possible.
    I have few questions.
    Three years down the road, is Reload still your go to sealant ? Which sealant you use most now if it is not Reload (of course apart from Nova products which I know you admire a lot but they are either not easily available or very expensive in US)?
    Would you rate Reload still top of the line after 3 years?
    Can you please do an updated review of Reload if possible?

    I was never impressed with Opti-Seal. I've had a bottle since 2015 or so. Still have it too.
    But it recently became one of my favorites. Turns out I had been applying it all wrong.
    I'm the wrong guy to say "a little goes a long way" to. Thus I used too little when applying with the foam applicator. Or, I'd apply too much and mediately wipe away, or I'd apply directly to the paint, and wipe it off. None of those te houses worked for me. Of all of them, using after an ONR wash as a drying aid was the best.
    But after a recent indepth testing and understanding of Optimum products I finally got the results I wanted.
    1. One spray of Opti-Seal on the pad, and start.
    2. Spread onto the paint until the wet film trail stops, then reload with one spray.
    3. Allow as much of the wet film to flash before wiping with the microfiber towel.
    4. Keep from getting wet for a bit. Not sure exactly how long, maybe an hour? All I know ow is that getting wet immediately affected the durability when I applied it to my gf's windshield one morning before she left in a rain storm. She reported that it acted like nothing was even on there. I applied again, and it sat in the garage over night and held up and performed much better.
    I had written Opti-Seal Seal off as a dud, and boy was I wrong. It might not be as robust as the Duragloss 111 I've been using since 2011, but if the tests keep going this way, it will finally replace the 111.

      Absolutely!
      Sometimes I use 501 or 101 alone too.
      111 is my favorite though.

    Awesome review Sandro! I like a wax like finish. Can you recommend a spray wax or sealant with an excellent wax like finish? Thank you!

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks, but that’s a really hard question to answer honestly. Most spray waxes/sealants contain very little if any actual natural wax in their chemistry, they’re really synthetic in general. I also think the wax finish, feel and look we seek is greatly influenced by the application ritual we have applying traditional waxes, and it may not at least entirely be about the result but more so the user experience. So I’m honestly not sure there mate and I’d say if you enjoy the look of past waxes you’ve used you bay be better of sticking to them than using spray waxes/sealants.

  • @Housemusic86
    @Housemusic86 4 роки тому +1

    Do you feel that today's spray sealants like TW Seal and Shine are as good or better in gloss and durability compared to more traditional sealants like power lock and wolfgang? Or is ot just there ease of application that gives them advantage? Another great video.

    Optimum Opti-Seal is a true WOWA (wipe on / walk away) product but you used way, way too much of it in this video! :)
    I admit there is a learning curve but I get only 2-3 high-spots on a car and one other thing you do have to remember that you shouldn't buff off the high spots rather level them very, very gently otherwise you just remove too much product. I actually level them with the applicator and they disappear, great product! I havenät found smooth to the touch product keeping the paint easier to clean than other that aren't like that. Keep up the good work!

      Car Craft Auto Detailing Thanks for the advice! I was a little skeptical about the carnauba arts range in terms of value as you said. For now I have purchased rapidwaxx as a top up which I am quite happy with though I havnt had much experience with spray waxes so it's hard to compare. Do you think carnauba arts is a worth while step up from rapidwaxx? Considering I will be using master sealant as a base layer.

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing  3 роки тому +2

      Reload is one of the forefathers of ceramic spray sealants and to this day is still a beautiful spray coating. All sealants have stronger and weaker points as no sealant is the best on every single category, so it really comes down to what you’re looking for in that product.

      Car Craft Auto Detailing - That sucks Sandro. I personally had a great experience over this end and have built a great rapport with the rep and I am not even in car detailing business. Value wise - can't be beat with their bulk 20L. perfect for trade/valeting. would you recommend nano/ceramic > sealant > wax. or simply waste of time after coating. part of my passion for car detailing is to work on the 🚗 and with such a long durability of ceramic/nano coating, might stick with sealants/wax combo B-)
