She's a living and born echo as well as birth memory of the spirit of her land. Nobody else sounds like Bjork. Even if in the future they try desperately to copy her, it would be a technical exhibition, void of the spurts of determination and jolts of sound like a volcano.

I saw Bjork live three times. She is the best. Voice, lyrics, passion. She has it all. She the only singer that made me cry. She is completely underrated. I remember buying her album on cassette in 1997. Bachelorette is the best song she ever did.

Every note, every hand motion, body position, extened jaw, amount air volume, key, timbre, lyrical theme is not normal. Her creations are not normal because of their profound quality only a unified soul can produce, knowing her message precisely, knowing who she is precisely. Few vocalists make me feel honored to listen. I am very moved.

Jools gets this little smile on his face when he knows he’s in the presence of genius. It’s a rare sighting... I’ve seen him have it for Bjork and for Amy Winehouse.

    I'm a fountain of blood
In the shape of a girl
You're the bird on the brim
    Hypnotized by the whirl
Drink me, make me feel real
Wet your beak in the stream
    Game we're playing is life
    Love is a two-way dream
    Leave me now, return tonight
Tide will show you the way
    If you forget my name
    You will go astray
    Like a killer whale
    Trapped in a bay
    I'm a path of cinders
    Burning under your feet
You're the one who walks me
    I'm your one-way street
    I'm a whisper in water
    Secret for you to hear
You're the one who grows distant
    When I beckon you near
    Leave me now, return tonight
The tide will show you the way
    If you forget my name
    You will go astray
    Like a killer whale
    Trapped in a bay
I'm a tree that grows hearts
One for each that you take
    You're the intruder's hand
I'm the branch that you break

Adoro essa música!!! ^^! Olha o baixo do teclado/piano, esse climão criado pelas cordas e o sempre presente batuque eletrônico e claro, a voz talvez limitada da Björk, mas carregada de paixão! Em seus belings, drives vocais. Adoooorooo! Até angustiante pra quem não está acostumado. Mas inegavelmente carregada de sentimento!

Jools Holland ( Respected former pianist.. keyboard player & vocalist of the group "Squeeze" ) can spot talent from miles away. Always admired this guy for giving singers & Musicians a chance to shine in the spotlight. Big kudos to the man...he made us aware of Bjork :) and many other talented people :)
