Learn how to play the live acoustic version of Bruce Springsteen's classic 'Thunder Road' from Born To Run. This version is based on the MTV plugged version of this great Springsteen track. This song is designed for the acoustic guitar but could easily be played on the electric guitar as well. This easy to follow guitar walkthrough, comes complete with pro tab and will show all the chords, strumming and picking patterns needed. This is my own cover and take on this great Springsteen live version and hope you enjoy it!

U know what, I just watched you playing through this - and now I´m sitting here with tears (..of joy!) in my eyes; for ONE reason that there´s (at last) SOMEONE who does Bruce Springsteen, and for the other reason that.. well .. I can´t explain it. There´s this thing about it.. one can´t explain. You have to be into it. "moved", that would be the closes way to describe it. And I saw that same impression in your eyes when you started playing that outro.

This is a cool version! I’ve always based the way I played it off the Chris Cornell live version which is amazing or the one Bruce does Live in Australia I believe? Is there a particular live recording you base this acoustic version off of?
21stCentruyIndustry Hi there. I didn’t know Chris Cornell did a version of this I’ll have to check it out! I’ve based this on his MTV plugged version of this song. Was just easier to work things out! Hope that helps!
Bruce Springsteen guitar it’s just clips on UA-cam. The one I used is Chris Cornell Atlantic City. I believe he was doing a solo acoustic tour. He covers a few Springsteen songs.

I was going to suggest that. What I'd like is to work out Bruce's solo at the end, even if it's on acoustic, it's nice, I have the first part but can't get the end. He's done it live a few times, including in Florida, the Jimmy Fallon appearance gives a good shot of the ending solo, although the volume is low: ua-cam.com/video/NtZZ8B9KsEE/v-deo.html
