My first 'good' computer came with this I think. I must have played the aoe rise of rome trial a thousand times until the old man finally relented and bought me aoe + ror. I would hate to see the pie graph of my childhood hours spent on aoe/expansion and its demo lol...
I wish Microsoft still created these samplers, even if they came preinstalled on the hard drive rather than on cd. This thing is neat to watch. Thanks for uploading.
I used to play Monster Truck Madness 2 and CART Precision Racing with my Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel steering wheel on my Windows 98 computer. those were the days

I remember, I had a Pentium II 366 MHZ PC with 32 mb ram, 4 gb HDD, and an old videocard. And i used windows 98 few years.

Computers are fundamentally the same no matter how you look at it. The core has never changed, it’s never better.

Newer Windows OSes has no more Interactive CD Sampler, since Windows XP.
