The V6 in my opinion is better, you make power more easily and the torque is the fun factor. The ECU and Flywheel used are made by Frankenstein Motors in the USA.
thanks for your video. we are doing the same thing now. the 2gr comes in a st165. with the 154F gearbox. the gearbox already fits on it. we just haven't installed the flywheel and clutch yet. The ash from the bin is also not in there yet. (We are currently working with an empty gearbox due to the weight and the many fittings and measurements. We are just curious whether it is easy to assemble once the flywheel and clutch are mounted?
Hi, yes the clutch assembly does make it more challenging to fit the gearbox and is one of the reasons why so much is removed from the engine belle-housing area. But once the areas as shown are grinded down, removing and installing the gearbox becomes very easy.
My dad
Hi thirds.
Cool video. Can't wait to see it done. Seems you ran into similar issues I had on my 2ar-fe swap 4wd RAV4
Bro. That ae111 is sick. Awesome job!
Respect brethren
I’m gonna have to do this in the next 3 months or asap
Love the work it’s amazing
Hello from Russia.
Your project is amazing.
3 questions:
What controls the engine?
What makes the flywheel?
is 3s gte better or worse?

When will we see the video of the ae111 installation
Nice job man! Thx for sharing!

Which gearbox is better for fwd convaersion
@androbrown9369 no experience there unfortunately.
Nice!! Great work. Is it as tedious for a 2AZ/2AR swap into a Celica GT-FOUR/Alltrac?
No experience with those engines unfortunately.
Where are you from? I would totally be down to put a 2gr into my st165. It already has an e154f
From the Caribbean, lil island called St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Feel free to reach out on Instagram, will assist in anyway I can.
Do you know what torque the gearbox is rated for? Any idea of what a rough drive train loss would be for it? Really cool!!
Not 100% on the figures you are requesting, but perhaps you can research any high power st205 or st215 to get an idea.
Is the engine control unit original?
It is a flashed original ECU, from frankenstein motorworks
