I love your dynamic together !! And how you describe things. You both have different ways of describing things but your descriptions compliment each other. And they’re so helpful in giving us a sense of what we might like or dislike.
I loved Benson pouring on the love to your black cat, and said cat putting up with it. I think tomatoes represent summer, and oranges are winter. Spring is maybe daikon radishes.
Benson has grown so much!! So adorable how full your home is with the fur babies ❤ my coworker has been calling all tj in the area for the cinnamon roll blondies apparently their amazing
Happy Saturday Katie and Tim! Love your pets. Benson is really getting tall. Hope school is going well for him this year. Ravioli sounds interesting. Little pastry bites appetizers looks yummy. Great fall haul Have a great weekend and do something to make yourself smile! Spring is strawberry picking. Spring is also hard boiling eggs and decorating them. Summer is watermelon and bbq. Fall is apples and apple pie. Pumpkins and pumpkin pie. Winter is homemade cranberry sauce. Baking cookies and homemade banana pudding. ❤😊
I love your fur babies! Wow, Benson has grown so much! Everything looks good and I will try some of the things ~ I am not much into pumpkin flavor but I do like TJ's pumpkin butter. I appreciate how you share your true opinions on everything you are taste testing. I can't imagine pumpkin wine. Lol! The pastry bites sound good. Thanks for another fun taste test, guys!
What a fun taste test. I don’t really pay attention to the wine because they can’t sell it in grocery stores in my state. Spring flavors for me are mangoes, lemon and lime. Very versatile!
Pineapple, Mangoes, and Strawberries in Spring. Watermelon, Cherries, Grapes, and Citrus in Summer. Pumpkins, Apples, Pears, figs and Cranberries in fall. Pomegranates, Persimmons, kiwi and Citrus in winter.
My favorite spring fruits are peaches & nectarines. Homemade peach ice cream, Sunday morning peach ramos fizzes, sliced nectarines in a spinach, walnut salad tossed in fig Balsamic dressing & topped with goat cheese & mesquite salmon. Thank you for always having fun taste tests & wonderful to see Benson & animals.
Tim had me cracking up about having the coffee and being up all night. I worked at a Starbucks in high school and even though I didn’t like coffee, I had to try a sip of every drink so I could recommend them to customers. I didn’t sleep my first night of training, but after that I liked coffee. Ha ha.
Oh, Benson is getting so big! So adorable. I appreciate you tasting the coffee without any sweetness for the first try to give us a proper review and then following up with a bit of sweetness. Thanks! I tried the La Colombe pumpkin spice latte for the first time, and initially, I liked it, but after a few more sips, it it was just too sweet for me. My favorite fall and winter fruit is apple, really. I love apple cider, hot or cold as well as apple pie. For spring since I'm Louisiana now, the strawberry season comes early since it's so warm. Let me tell you, Louisiana strawberries are DELICIOUS!! And for me, summer is all about cherries and mangos.
winter would be root vegetables, potatoes, squash, things like that, Spring would be Strawberries, Summer watermelons and cantlope or cucumbers, fall would be pumplins and apples.
I love the taste test! Thank u so much for doing the Gluten free. Those of us that need to eat gluten free appreciate. I got the ravioli. I know it isnt great but we are stuck eating it. Havent made yet. I got the alfredo sauce with the pepper in it. Sorry dont remember name. Lol. Summer for me is fresh fruit and later summer is tomatoes, fall is pumpkin spice and fall veggies and apples etc. Winter here in NY is tough sometimes unless i have canned stuff. Spring i dont know really. Garlic scapes?
Awww, your babies are so adorable. I bought two boxes of the butternut squash bites this morning and I’m so glad I did. I love watching your taste tests. I can’t believe how big Benson is getting. I think of strawberries for summer fruit and definitely pears or apples for the winter. Have a wonderful weekend
Glad you explained the different regions of the country. I live in New York State and tried a couple of times to find something you bought. I always thought you lived in Florida.
Hey family. Not sure about Spring fruits but the abundant availability of lamb and asparagus that are sold around that time always let me know that 22:47 Spring is here! I think of clementines and pears and walnuts in the winter. Great taste test. I really like these final months of the year for all things TJ’s.
I'm so glad those squash bites are good. When I looked at the ingredients during the haul, I didn't see ANY seed oils, which im.thrilled about!! Of course, I could be wrong because i took a quock ss, but hopefully that's true! In any event, I'll be looking for those next week.
I really enjoyed this taste test as I always do. If pumpkin is the quintessential fall fruit or veggie, I would pick cranberries for winter, limes for spring, and watermelon for summer. I hope you guys are having a great weekend!
Spring, asparagus. Summer, watermelon and fresh sweet corn. Fall, apples - love to go apple picking. Winter, not really a "food", but anything peppermint.
Update on MY experience with the Chardonay. I returned the leftover wine this morning. $7.99. When I told the managers that I hated it, they (3 of them) all laughed! Seems I'm not the only one. Question? Katie, are you going to return the wine?
I love your little menagerie of pets! 🐶🐱 Thank you for featuring them in the taste test--they're all so cute. The Pumpkin Spice Chardonnay almost sounds like a non-bubbly Riesling. Thank you for being brave and trying it for us--but I'm still a little nervous to try it myself. I wonder if those Savory Squash Bites would go well with that Habenero hot sauce from last week, too... Thanks for sharing such a fun and 'liquid diet' taste test, Katie and Tim!
Summer for me is watermelons, berries, and stone fruit. Spring is a tough one. I'm trying to think about which fruits show up first at the farmers market. I feel like it's strawberries?
Spring = rhubarb. Rhubarb pie, crisp, jam, punch, roasted, pickled. Rhubarb - it's the first thing up in the garden, and I'm always so excited to see it.
Beer: I live in Whatcom County Washington state. I look for quite a few of the beers you've tried that are from CA, but don't show up at our store...😢. But, it makes me happy that our store in Bellingham really supports our local breweries by selling their products.
Wonder what the coffee brew tastes like with regular milk or coffee cream, as you added almond milk. Not a fan of almond milk. Glad you tried the Squash appetizers, I have it on my list, now will pick up more than 1. Thanks.
Tarantula Hill is our go to teacher hangout. If you are ever this way come try their food. Then take a walk up the namesake hill with incredible views across drom the conejo botanical gardens.
I'm just wondering if you cooked the two raviolis the same amount of time. I think the gf one only cooks for 2-3 minutes. I'm guessing the regular one cooks longer. That may have been the reason it was more gummy. Gf pasta is really temperamental, and there isn't much of a bite, but you can generally avoid the extreme gumminess by not overcooking it.
I definitely want the pumpkin ravioli the regular kind. My favorite fruit ever is watermelon so summer fruit is the best but I am a winter person I love winter. And when winter comes, I think of delicious oranges and apples.
My dogs loved those treats along with the Stuffies ones. Not sure about the Pumpkin coffee. I need to play around with it. I felt the “spice” flavor was very strong. Like heavy on cloves and nutmeg. I used a Chobani Pumpkin Creamer however. Tomorrow I will try just more of a sweet cream and see if that helps. I even diluted with water
I don't know if it firs your standards but I use Premier protein shake in my coffee...and for a snack or meal replacenent...maybe try it instead of creamer
😊 Love your son hugging the kitty in the background!!
I love your dynamic together !! And how you describe things. You both have different ways of describing things but your descriptions compliment each other. And they’re so helpful in giving us a sense of what we might like or dislike.
Thank you so much!!
I definitely agree!
Totally agree
Thanks for the insights and the ravioli looks great! I love your son behind you playing his game, petting your kitty and kissing the cat. So sweet!!
Thank you for taste testing the gluten-free items too! It's so helpful!
Love how Benson treats the animals. 5:20 When he kisses the kitty 😻
Wanted to thank you both for using your platform for good, A lot of ugly in the world and it's refreshing to see positivity from great people!
It's so good to see Benson and the critters. For spring, I think of asparagus.
I loved Benson pouring on the love to your black cat, and said cat putting up with it. I think tomatoes represent summer, and oranges are winter. Spring is maybe daikon radishes.
Benson absolutely adores Harlow and will love on her all day. She is the most tolerant cat ever lol
Fall: pumpkins & pomegranates; Winter: apples & pears; Spring: Strawberries; Summer: Stone fruits and watermelon.

All the seasonal food associations you mentioned made me smile. Very descriptive and made me think of each season with those foods. 🥰
I love your fur babies! Wow, Benson has grown so much! Everything looks good and I will try some of the things ~ I am not much into pumpkin flavor but I do like TJ's pumpkin butter. I just saw Benson kiss the kitty! How sweet he is!
For spring I’d say strawberries or cherries. (Not that cherries are out yet, but it’s the spring blossoms.)
My favorite spring fruits are peaches & nectarines. Homemade peach ice cream, Sunday morning peach ramos fizzes, sliced nectarines in a spinach, walnut salad tossed in fig Balsamic dressing & topped with goat cheese & mesquite salmon.

The wine tastes like a hard cider without the carbonation…I think it would be good adding a splash of sparkling water
Great Video ❣️

Target (Good & Gather brand) has a very tasty Pecan cold brew coffee. It's so good!
winter would be root vegetables, potatoes, squash, things like that, Spring would be Strawberries, Summer watermelons and cantlope or cucumbers, fall would be pumplins and apples.

They are really good.

Winter = Oranges
Spring = Berries
Summer = Watermelon, Peaches, Tomatoes.
Seasonless = Potatoes, Carrots, Celery, Lettuce, Broccoli.

Today’s taste test was so much fun! Thank you:)
Glad you liked it!!
Strawberries 🍓 are my spring fruit
I haven't tried the butternut squash bites yet, but I knew they would be good because of how good the caramelized onion & feta pastry bites are!
Fruits:
Winter- Cranberry
Spring- Strawberry
Summer- Watermelon or Peaches

please try the pumpkin spice mini sheet cake and the apple butter cookies! :)
The apple butter cookies are sooo good!! I think they would be really good crushed up to make a tart crust.

Spring carrots😊
Place a sliced pimento stuffed green olive on top to make the butternut squash appetizer look like an eyeball
Summer for me is watermelons, berries, and stone fruit.
Spring is a tough one. I'm trying to think about which fruits show up first at the farmers market. I feel like it's strawberries?
Melt the pear apple cheese and maybe dip pretzels in it?
Whoa spring is hard for sure! Maybe mango? For me, for sure clementines in winter, berries in summer, and apples in the fall.
Oh ya apples in Fall is a good one!
Always fun
Spring = rhubarb. Rhubarb pie, crisp, jam, punch, roasted, pickled. Rhubarb - it's the first thing up in the garden, and I'm always so excited to see it.

Living in Hawai'i, I think for me is strawberries is spring and we tropical fruits all year around so very difficult to choose
Wonder what the coffee brew tastes like with regular milk or coffee cream, as you added almond milk. Not a fan of almond milk. Glad you tried the Squash appetizers, I have it on my list, now will pick up more than 1. Thanks.
Can’t wait til my TJs gets the pumpkin coffee concentrate!!!!!
Stay cool, kids.

I cooked them according to the package separately but at the same time in the stove so they were both warm at the same time.
Can’t wait to get the butternut squash bites.
That’s not Champagne 🍾, but you probably already know 😉 Looks great though and I’ll look for that bubbly
Sounds like Boones Farm Apple wine
Haha maybe it is and they slapped the TJ label on it 😂
I definitely want the pumpkin ravioli the regular kind. My favorite fruit ever is watermelon so summer fruit is the best but I am a winter person I love winter. And when winter comes, I think of delicious oranges and apples.

I love your top. Do you have a link?

Yes, a lot 🥰
Asparagus for spring!
Wait, do you live in Thousand Oaks? Maybe I misunderstood that part in the video. I live in Westlake Village. 😊
No on that wine. Yikes 😬 Blasphemy is right, Tim!! 😅
Berries
Asparagus
bakeries? I've never seen a bakery inside a Trader Joe's. Is that a California thing?....
No, I think you misunderstood. The bakery items sold at TJ’s are baked at bakeries exclusive to each region.
🌸👍🏻🌸
It is never fail season whitout Pumpkin spice
Aren’t you supposed to add water to the coffee concentrate?😅
You can do either or. I prefer a creamy coffee so I dilute it with almond milk.
Spring=carrot!
Kids don't love herbs
