Awww you're an ARMY! I was already delighted to watch a bookshelf tour and then I saw those BT21 stuffs and it got me so excited. I like your arrangement, it's just so pleasing to the eyes. Thank you. I like reading PEL paperback, it's so easy to handle and carry around.
such an awesome bookshelf tour! i hate when booktubers just speed through all of their books. i can actually tell you love the books on your shelf! that's awesome :)
I agree. I love that she took her time and talked about the books. Made it feel like old friends talking. But, honestly? We all know that's her whole channel. Hers is such a warm channel and you are made to feel as though you are old friends playing catchup. Her channel is my favorite.
lol I'm so glad! I didn't add background music on purpose because I thought the natural audio could be like a little bookshelf ASMR, but the mowing/springtime ASMR was inadvertent. 😂
I adore how you let everyone get a little peep of you by showing us your reads! The way that you recall each book with certain fondness too is very touching, thank you for this video.
Grace Livingston Hill - I'm excited that you mention you like her books. I don't hear her mentioned that often. I've loved her writing for decades. Her main characters inspire me.
Anne Of Windy Willows is the other title to Anne Of Windy Poplars! LOVE your bookshelves! So organized and gives me ideas for when I finally am able to get my bookshelves up again! 😁 And thanks for adding to my TBR! 🤣
Fantastic book shelf tour! Your bedroom is so warm, cozy and feminine ♥️ We have many of the same books...great minds think alike, eh lol? I'm actually currently reading the Classics Reimagined edition of P&P and just finished the Anna Bond Alice in Wonderland.
loved your video.i also love all books & love collecting my favorites. you might think about getting bigger bookcases to house all your great books. i have 4 bookcases from ikea that are over 6' high. they're very easy to put together & very affordable(abt$60. each) pick them up if you can & save the delivery fee. they make all different sizes too. you can decorate them w/ your castles & what not. it just makes it so much easier to organize everything & they look lovely. i have mine all together against a wall in my guest room & i love going in there when im in the mood & peruse the shelves while sitting in my comfy chair & choose a book to read. oh, & nothing falls off! lol.
As a recovering English Literature major and Christian covert, I totally love your book collection. I don't know if I missed it but would like to suggest TAN Books The Story of a Family, St Therese's Story of a Soul, and The Von Trapp Family Singers (totally hilarious). I also wondered if your Austen anthologies included her prayers. Might have been called the Complete Works of Jane Austen. No clue where the actual book is to be found. With my 12 yr old had an older sister like you. If your family would not be horrified, Tom Jones by Fielding is hilarious. Made into an excellent movie in 1997 (I didn't like the 1963). Thank you for sharing.
A bunch of my books were damaged so post quarantine shopping list Dune series, Harry Potter maybe the house colors set, Mystery of Edwin Drood, Lady Audley's Secret, Haunting of Hill House. I love those pretty covers at the beginning of the video.
Your shelves are so beautiful! And you can hear the smile in your voice, I love it! EDIT: also I’ve never seen anyone else with those editions of Anne of green gables so that’s really cool
This was so awesome! Love your collection of PEL paperbacks 😍😍😍😍 it is going to go make me order some for myself 😍❤️❤️ I hope no books were damaged in the making of this video 😁 when they fell, I jumped. The vintage Austen paperbacks are so pretty 😍❤️
I love the smell of books. I'm sure I caught the scent of some glorious adventures as you were paging through your collection. Unfortunately, most of my reading is of the E-Book variety these days.
I am currently reading Island Magic by Elizabeth Goudge. She was unparalleled at creating beautiful mental imagery. I fell in love with The Little White Horse, as a small child, and I have the paperback copy now. I've looked in vain for an antiquarian hardback of it.
I've been trying to build up a collection of those overlook Wodehouses. But there's like 99 of them! Definitely a long term project. I'm about a 3rd of the way there.
Oh thank you so much for this video. I’ve been trying to get started with a book reading list of my own and this super helps. You have great taste. I’m half way through Dune right now and loving it. I love all of your book videos. 💜
Daddy Long Legs is one of my favorites along with Anne of Green Gables and To Kill A Mockingbird (my favorite novel ever!); I have tons of Jane Austen, too. She is my favorite author as well!
They do have A Room with a View in Penguin English Library paperbacks! I own a copy, I should know! It’s white with geometric flowers in green and blue, super beautiful as you’d expect
Thanks for sharing your beautiful book collection! Speaking of Marilynne Robinson, she has another Gilead book titled "Jack" that's supposed to be released this fall.
So many pretty covers! Sadly I've had to switch over to ebooks due to space limitations, so am missing out on the beautiful cover/leaf artwork. Currently I'm obsessed with the "Cronicles of Brother Cadfael" by Ellis Peters. A 12th century Benedictine monk in Shrewsbury with a skill in herbal remedies and a nose for solving crime. There are 20 books in the series and I have 11 of them so far.
Just found the Anne boxset for $20 at Ollie's. It retails at $80 easily in America. Some of my favorites are Watership Down, Life of Pi, Memoirs of a Geisha. Currently working through Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn, a good read for "alphabetarians"☺️Thanks for sharing♥️
Your books and your room are lovely! I have yet to find another Wodehouse fan on BookTube. Also, where did you get that chair? It looks so comfy. In addition, though it's late for your livestream, Lady Susan is available in the Penguin clothbound Sanditon, along with The Watsons. That clothbound hasn't been well advertised or is very new, I think. I only discovered it in January.
Try taking miceller water on a cotton pad and rub the pen make that’s on the lord of the ring book it should come off and it won’t damage the book 😊 if that doesn’t work trying a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol
Yourr bookshelves certainly put mine to shame! I mostly have science fiction and mystery paperbacks, as well as comic strip compilations... not exactly high literature! ;-) 3:25 I think time to invest in some bookends!
Hi, I'm new to your channel. I absolutely loved your bookshelf tour! The princesses are soooo cute too. I'm trying to add to my Anne Of Green Gables collection and also my classics collection. 🎠
Thank you for the book tour Emma! I loved it and hope to join you for the Bookclub in May 9th! I want to get to know Jane Austin more and I know you can help!
I just found your channel and those Jane Austen's make me giddy! I must go order! I will look at your other vlogs later but do you have a degree in literature? Thank you.
I am soooo happy to find a Booktuber who has a similar taste in books. I find that a lot of recommendations by others are full of sexual content or over the top occultism. It’s refreshing to watch your videos. It’s as if I have found a kindred spirit for my reading life. Do you have recommendations of other Booktubers with similar taste?
Love your Liberty London Emma Georgina print shirt!❤

The mower sounds added to the springy charm of this video.
lol I'm so glad! I didn't add background music on purpose because I thought the natural audio could be like a little bookshelf ASMR, but the mowing/springtime ASMR was inadvertent. 😂
I am such a book stalker. I always find a new book to purchase when I watch. Thank you.

I have watched the 2021 bookshelf tour and this 2020 video over and over again. Your bookshelf videos are one of a kind, really the best!

It would be criminal not to like this video!!
Very well done!!💞💞💞

The Emily books are my favorites (then Rilla of Ingleside). I recently read about LM Montgomery’s life and it was sad and interesting.
A bunch of my books were damaged so post quarantine shopping list

Your shelves have so much personality and I love how there all in your room, so pretty!
What a fun video! My husband and I are trying to get back into reading and now I have some great ideas for must-have books. :)
Thanks so much for this, Emma! You've given me a lot of ideas that I want to check out!!
Thanks for watching, happy reading! 😊

I LOVED the way you shot this also I feel asleep watchung which is a compliment because it felt very ASMR.
Wonderful book collect. I thought this to be a great video. Thanks x
This was so nice to watch!
I love the new Jane Austin collection with the beautiful covers! I bet it’s a whole new experience re-reading the books.
I am currently reading Island Magic by Elizabeth Goudge. She was unparalleled at creating beautiful mental imagery. I fell in love with The Little White Horse, as a small child, and I have the paperback copy now. I've looked in vain for an antiquarian hardback of it.

Have you seen the 1980s version of the Scarlet Pimpernel starring Anthony Andrews and Jane Seymour? It is lovely!
They do have A Room with a View in Penguin English Library paperbacks! I own a copy, I should know! It’s white with geometric flowers in green and blue, super beautiful as you’d expect
Ahh I don't know how I missed that, that's awesome, I will look it up!

Dee-Anne Gordon the Cafael books are really good.

Your room looks a dream! I would love to know who made your beautiful Belle figurine and where you got it?
As I mentioned in the video, it's from the Walt Disney Classics collection! I believe I got it on the Disney website years ago.
You are are wonder! Thank you my dear. 🔖🪶
It's just me or she sounds like Selena Gomez? Btw wonderful collection 😍
