What software is the best to make wedding invitations

Can you use png graphics in illustrator as long as they are large enough and so that you already have a transparent background?
Yes you can, as long as they are high quality files.

This tutorial is Adobe Illustrator, we also use InDesign
how do you get two 5x7's onto one page? do you have to make them both or is there an easy way
+Sourcing Ape We have a recent video that is also in the Adobe illustrator playlist called 'How to add trim /crop marks on Adobe illustrator' this video shows how to add two 5x7' invitations onto 1 sheet of paper.
I saw that one n it's not really what I'm looking for. It's not detailed enough for me starting out. I made a 5x7 with the normal bleed n need to know how to go from there. It's got work that will bleed over with designs.
Sourcing Ape Illustrator allows you to work with seperate art boards but doesn't allow you to print more than 1 per page with bleeds. As long as your art board has the bleed line, when you save the file as a PDF, under the heading 'marks and bleeds' check the box in section 'use document bleed setting'. Now you can drag 2 documents into 1 page with bleeds.
I must be really bad with ai. I saved it with that checked. I just don't know how to get two on a standard page with the cut lines being right. Thanks for any help!
Sourcing Ape You're welcome 😊 As long as you save the PDF with bleed and crop marks it would work. Once you move that PDF back into illustrator, you would have the document set up correctly as 2 up with marks and bleeds. All the best! 😊
Where do you recommend getting these high resolution graphics for free?
We design our high-resolution images from scratch or purchase from artists. Unfortunately, not many artists offer their images for free.
