At the same time, it's OBVIOUS to me, the energy, and character of her playing. see Claudio barile's performance of the ibert, 1st movement, that is tempo that is all over the place

Great performance. But that hideous cupcake dress was truly a distraction. Especially with all her movement. I loved her performance of the 2nd mvt. It was beautiful and languid. 3rd mvt? Technically amazing. But fast for fast's sake isn't always necessary. I heard all the notes, but didn't feel anything. It also sounded like the orchestra was "trying" to keep up. Again, technically brilliant.
You said it as if I'm not achieving anything in this "chimera" I'm pursuing, which is not true. Check out my guest performance on the multi-Emmy-winning series, Hacks, on HBO. I honestly never had any interest in the flute or classical music, so I'm happy to have found my true passion and be successful with it.

But,as a long time music teacher,I cannot be oblivious to your gifts, and I hope that one day, you will forget your hours of unpalatable practicing, and discover that this antiquated music of a dying culture does have something universal to it that defies definition.Freud said: The United States is mankind's biggest experiment---and it failed. I wish you all the best, I am sure that as a person you are terribly interesting.
