A brilliant performance of one of my absolute favorite concerti. Omg. I saw Mr Pahud perform when I first moved to Boston about 20yrs ago. Still a brilliant performer. Actually, even better. Where does the time go?
I saw him for the first time 20yrs ago when I first moved to Boston. I had no idea that he's a year younger than me. But he's still very very handsome and his playing is even better.
@@altharrion i really meant the question...i wondered if it has to do something with the music. what's with you to laugh at a stranger asking a benign question?
@@ccflute That is what it is - for turning the pages. There is no paper music on the music stand, just an iPad. The pedal turns the pages on that. Almost everybody is using them now - at least my son - a doctoral cellist at Rice - and everybody he knows use that setup. He stores all of his scores and music on his Dropbox - so everything is available to him for download from anywhere in the world with internet access. Very cool!!
No I don't think so. 24k is way more yellow. He is not using here his Sheridan headjoint for sure. Maybe this is his Faulisi 14k or 18k he was developing with Salvatore Faulisi.
Wonderfully played! .....by the orchestra as well as by the flutist.
Emmanuel Pahud is always amazing!!!!
I LOVE EMMANUEL PAHUD❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely good Pahud! Very wonderful performance.
Seeing him age is like watching your parents age :(
In my mind, he'll forever be young and handsome. His playing keeps him that way.
Damn I felt that 😥

Great!
A wonderful piece. An excellent performance and production. Curious what flute maestro Pahud plays. Thank you for posting.
he's a Haynes artist, but he also plays on a brannen, and he plays on headjoints by Haynes, Lafin, Faulisi, and Sheridan
Great concert
고맙습니다

A next-to-foot thing. Duh.

It looks like a Bluetooth pedal he can press to change to the next page. I have a lot of music friends who use them!
@@bethanysorman7811 thank you so much for the information!♥ if that's what it is then seems very useful tool for solo performing musicians.

I was gonna also ask the same!
In this concert, he was using Lafin’s 24k head joint

@@paytonfespli He also might have just been using his Haynes head, but I agree it's not his Lafin 22k (Lafin doesn't make a 24k, Pahud's is 22k)
It is a Faulisi headjoin look at 20:00 min ;)
RO modele and probably 18+22k but not sure
