Love your videos.! I’ve never seen rigging like yours , squid with like a plastic above it..? Does this seem To work better? Are you bouncing off bottom? Also it seems live bait is always a choice of yours. I’ll be heading out in north county San Diego area, hoping to have your luck as well! Any tips ? Thanks dude and keep getting fatty flattys!
MAJ P I usually use between 2 and 6 ounces depending on depth, current, wind, etc. Most any tackle store sells bucktails or you can definitely get them online.
ultimatejay what state are you in? Where I fish in Southern California the limit is 5 per angler. And in Northern California north of Monterey it’s 3 per angler.
Vincent Nguyen Yeah I’m not fishing in the bay. There’s very specific rules in there. I’m down near point conception where it’s just normal ocean fishing regulations.
Awesome job. Really like your setup.
Persistence pays off! Awesome fishing!
Reel Fishing and Diving Adventures I have always said the keys to fishing are patience and persistence. Works like a charm! Haha
Damn! That looked like the easiest launch EVER! BTW got to hang with Adam Wordinger today

I don’t think I can reveal that information. Haha. It’s near Santa Barbara but typically not that nice of a launch.
can you pls tell me what kayak that is and like the attachments you have on it
try putting pieces of squid or maceral on the sabikis, from my experience they work better when im trying to catch bait
What lure was that? I think I heard you say something like "artificial squid" weighted?!
The one I got the halibut on was a “joe’s jigs” 6oz. octopus jig.

Illegal to have 2 lines in the water bro
Not in the ocean dude. Unless you’re fishing for rockfish, you can fish as many as you want.
Not if you were fishing in SF Bay region
