If you used the weapon every day it would become second nature.
The grenades are on top = selector up. Rifle on bottom = selector down.
you dont read them past the first training session. after that its muscle memory
up is one down is the other, no need to read..

Andre, it isn't the Military Complex, it's the Military-Industrial Complex. Since 1959, President Eisenhower warned the country about it. We still haven't learned.

This guy is hysterical. I love his chats on military occupational specialties. His talks on those are about 3 minutes. So, doing 3 at a time would work Some great ones are the E-4 mafia, Infantryman 11B and the Marine Corps. Absolutely great stuff. I loved the M-16. It was a great rifle especially for a small woman like myself. I weighed all of 94 lbs at the time I was in.
my niece was an army MP and maybe 20lbs heavier than you.
she was the designated machine gunner on the humvee for her patrol unit, because she was so good with it..
her step dad was an Army airborne. two of her uncles were US Marines. and her younger brother was an Army ranger so that MIGHT have had a hand in it LOL

M16 is the old primary weapon. Currently, it's the m4. In the future, they're switching again to sig saur m7 in .277 fury (6.8 mm) piston driven sexiness.
There is a lot of politics in military procurement.
The one time i know where exploding bullets were used in war was during the American Civil War. Glad they were banned pretty early on before we completely adopted repeat fire.
Corruption is the name of the game in American politics and Companies have there hands in the pockets of almost every politician in america. Though its slowly started to change in modern politics the change is still hard because the change is split between the right wing and Left wing ie republican and democrats.
Yup, politics and which politicians are invested in what companies.

The future weapons program was a giant waist of money for what they intended it for but in the long run payed off because although we didn’t get what we were looking for the R&D that went into this was used to advance a lot of technology both military and civilian in other areas
