So I live in Tyler Texas. First time I went to our local airfield I met Ben Fisher. Saw some of his collection. He was an awesome guy and was giving me some pointers. Kinda cool to know he's part of extrem.. planning on one day being able to buy and fly one of their planes.
Small world John. That is a great story, and I'm not surprised Ben helped you. He is a big part of my inspiration to start flying 3D 11 years ago, and a friend of mine to this day. Bought my first "real" 3D plane from him, a 51" 3DHS AJ Slick at SEFF 2012. When it comes to high end, dedicated balsa 3D/Freestyle planes I've tried out quite a few, like Pilot RC, Precision Aerobatics, etc. I now own several. They are all from Extreme Flight. That says a lot, and when you start with one some day...know you'll be starting with the best.
Duuude! Fantastic video, you and Heidi captured the Extreme Flight line-up very well! I really appreciated the interview(s) and the flight footage, all interspersed throughout the video. I'm sorry I couldn't make it this year, but looks like a fun time was had by all for sure! I still can't believe the tail strike at the end! I don't know if it speaks more to the quality of the plane or the pilot that it was successfully landed! Thanks for taking us all along to SEFF with you!
Thank you for doing the interview Adam, some great thinking gone into the well built planes. I cannot See me ever doing this, it’s a craft in its self to fly like this. Great video 🫡
Thanks Chris. I'll say this...they make exquisite sport planes. You just turn down the throws and fly it like you would any sport plane. Spoiler alert...it will fly way better than most.
Jon, you need one in your life. The 48 PNP series would be perfect for you, and you can't get better balsa 3D planes than Extreme Flight. It will blow your mind man...you'd LOVE it!
It is awesome Chris. Extreme Flight was already the best in the business for 3D/Freestyle balsa planes, now...they are getting even better. Crazy. And yeah, all the pros make everybody look like beginners...lol.
Lol...we go every year bro! Cool story...I bought my first "real" 3D plane at SEFF in 2012...from Ben Fisher, owner of 3DHS...who NOW is with Extreme Flight. Great dude!
@@ModelAV8RChannel That means we HAVE flown together, my only SEFF so far was 2015... And I know that FIsher dude.... careful he is one of those enablers... next thing you know you will have a house full of planes, Oh wait... Too late.... Bwaaaahhhhh....
Adam. Looks like you were in 3D heaven. Haha. PNP balsa planes. Loving what i’m seeing. I do like to build but good to have that option for those who don’t have the time. Heidi did great keeping up with those flights. Man, got to put SEFF on my bucket list. 👍👍😎
Well, this may get expensive. I'm getting back to it (with electrics this time) I used to think I was a pretty good pilot. (kind of a natural) But that was 25 years ago and I never did maneuvers like this. I like the mid-wing sport models, now called 3-D. I'll see how good my reaction time is at this age with the twin timber I just got yesterday (radio and batteries should be here today). But my goodness the throws on the Lazer elevator looks like 80 degrees or more. I'm already looking forward to adding that one to the inventory. I need lessons. 😔
Yeah Wayne the 3D planes are designed a bit different, and the set up is key to making them fly well. Extreme Flight has the best in this genre by a good margin. The extreme throws are normal for the genre. A good "starting" set up is 45 deg elevator, 45 deg rudder, and 33 deg aileron...and many pilots use more...lol.
Hey Ruby! Yes, the Bushmaster is awesome. I had their 65", and have flown the 85". Great flyers! Go to our about section and e mail us your shipping address, and I'll send you one!
Thanks for the interview with Tim and showing those exciting planes. Thanks to Heidi for capturing all the action.
Thank you Tony!

Oh boy, they are some well made planes Adam. Thanks indeed for taking us along for the ride! The pilots there sure can handle the aircraft.👏👏👍
Noel they have quality control down pat, and yes...those pro's are amazing!

Adam and Heidi you have been SEFF'd. Very similar to being "enabled" just more intense... Annual booster shots are highly encouraged.

Any word at SEFF about where Seth Arnold is?
I didn't hear this at SEFF, but word is he is at Motion RC now.
Thanks Adam. He used to fly at my clubs field. Great guy and beyond great RC skills. I’m sure he will be missed at Flex.
Did anyone get footage of santis laser going into the drink?
Not sure Tory, happened after we left. That boy sends it...every time. No fear at all! Lol.
