Now THAT'S how you do an instructional video, nice job Odin, I myself would have chose another belt to start with, NOT an elastic one that will stretch at a different rate to what you glue to it
AWE man at arms inspired me, so i set up a forge, bought a millingmachine, lathe, e-weldingmachine and a oxygen acetylene torch and now im going to build swords .. huge swords - i just started of with a tomahawk, was super fun, check it out :) - keep rocking you inspire alot of people out there !
GDGaming I personally don’t think he was really all that great. Like that aliens pulse rifle he did was mediocre at best. Odin would make a far superior one in my opinion.
Man, that one was actually good. You can still see that he was lazy in his build with the roughness of some cuts, that can be easily ifxed with some sandpaper or a dremel tool. This guy is probably the best one from DIY Prop Shop team.
Odin and the other male host (no not Dustin he be gone m80) are the best, with me actually perferring the other make hosy, but Odin is really good as well. Dylan, the female host, is not really that good at this
I think the paint didn't quite help. I would have recommended weathering with a more golden brown or copper wash maybe and wiping it off instead of really brushing all that paint there. But that's just me. Lol. The built if it was great! Be sure to make it fit to you as it will not stretch after applying the glue and foam. Good luck to all you future Batmans!
for your information these props aren't meant equipped. they're for collectors whose don't want to buy expensive stuff for their collections. that's why it's called diy
i dont like the look of this belt it looks like a 5 year old did it in art class for his halloween costume. It looks like Batman went bankrupt, you can do it better.
Remember to use contact cement in a very well ventilated area because its vapors contain a neurotoxin. Cool build! I always like seeing clean foam props.
If you want cheap pouches, use Cra-z-art crayon boxes. They’re much cheaper than crayola. I managed to get 4 for a dollar. Just cut off the part that hangs it onto a rack and extend the flap with cardboard or some other cheap stiff material. I covered the ends with electrical tape, to hide the corigation
"I did them all the same time with the one ruler" One ruler to rule them all, one ruler to guide them. One ruler to mark the points and, with a ballpoint, join them!
next prop shop ideas - maybe something from the borderlands series! theres a few small props like handsome jacks pocket watch or something thattd be cool
He seems like a nice dude
+Andi X Hes the MAN!
Please make Rick's portal gun from Rick and Morty
YES
+Micro Groove Wubba lubba dub-dub!
+Micro Groove yes please
+Micro Groove yeah that'll be awesome
+Micro Groove hey William jakespeare has a tutorial on that.
Odin is good. I like the belt, the technique is simple and can be applied to any other type of costume belt.
This is one of those projects that comes out looking a lot better than how I thought it would
DIY batman's grapling gun or riffindor sword
#Gryffindor
+howling wolf king Nah, it's k. Just turn the sword into a guitar and you get Riffindor Sword.
luigi donadel the Rubie’s grappling gun costs $13 bucks, and it looks incredible. You just have to repaint it.
Odin is my favorite DIY prop god
Odin is definitely the best Host since our great loss.
Tomorrow I will be using this example for a Captain America belt, it looks so easy and I can't wait to try it!
It's nice to see Markiplier's dad working on cosplays for his son
XD
Lol I was literally thinking that this guy reminds me of Markiplier.
I thought Thor was the son of Odin?
+ömer Polat How is sucking the fun out of everything working out for you?
+TheDoctorClark it's going alright
I love when Odin makes things.
Thanks for bringing back Odin, He is by far the best host!
the car board guy is the best
2nd Odin video I've watched. Better than all the other guys on this diy prop shop so far - cheap and cheerful batman utility belt. Good work.
Now THAT'S how you do an instructional video, nice job Odin, I myself would have chose another belt to start with, NOT an elastic one that will stretch at a different rate to what you glue to it
+shredBucketheadshred What? That belt wasn't elastic. Did I miss something?
pretty sure it was, maybe I'm wrong, if so it's all the better for the job he did Backon Lazer
***** Hmm, it just looks like a support belt similar to one I used in the army. And most of the time polyester isn't elastic.
I would recommend spraying the belt with plastidip then spraying with yellow spray paint and then spray with clear coat, it's make it more sturdy
Do you know what Odin is...HE'S THE MAN!
For something different, consider making any championship belt (ufc, wwe, roh, and so on). For hard mode, make it without using cardboard ;)
All jokes aside of the guys looks. The work is good enough for any Batman cosplay. Good job. guys.
Who else misses dustin
GDGaming I personally don’t think he was really all that great. Like that aliens pulse rifle he did was mediocre at best. Odin would make a far superior one in my opinion.
Odin has my favorite personality of all the hosts and the easiest builds for someone who is new to crafting. Keep it up man
I got here early.
Still couldn't save my parents.
Odin is my favorite
You should make the "wumbo" belt.
Odin kills it again!
I'm early lemme think of a joke
Russians in cs go

+MIMI NOSEC allou, yoba, eto ti?
+Deadslendy TDS Rush B dont stop ~
Basic hero cowls/helmets that can be easily modded or painted to be our favorite heroes.
Like Batman, Captain America, The Flash, etc.
Man, that one was actually good. You can still see that he was lazy in his build with the roughness of some cuts, that can be easily ifxed with some sandpaper or a dremel tool. This guy is probably the best one from DIY Prop Shop team.

that looks awesome, make anything that doesn't rely on timber
Mega man BLATER HAND!!!!!
+lord Beaver Mega Buster you mean
+lord Beaver Bladder hand? eww. A _blaster_ hand would probably be cooler.
Mega buster* I suggest that you know the name of what you're suggesting so that they actually know what they should build.
Go to diy costume squad, they made the entire costume and blaster, plus it has the original host Dustin
Came back from 2019 to see this and....I'm not disappointed. Still interesting and the same Odin from 2019.
IRON MAN HELEMT?!?!??!?
FREDDY FAZBEAR MASK?!?!?!?
UNDYNE'S SPEAR?!?!!?!?!!?!!??
PORTAL GUN??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?

+Creativekatie yea id love to see what helemt is
TheTrue BloodLycan so much about this is cancer but also part of it is awesome
this is a great comeback
nice! :)
Man! Can't wait to see DIY Harry Potter invisible cloak!
if your workshop's a little colder your outfit would be more accurate.
Very well explained! By far the best voice since the original dude.
you should make Vault-Tec Pip Boy from Fallout
Batman's superpower : unlimited bank account. Genius.
Dude needs to start using sandpaper to clean up his cuts.
They need to get the 3 current 'Prop Shop' presenters and have them do a huge collab ;D
When you know that man at arms is better than prop shop.
"Please be Odin, please be Odin, please be O... OH YES, ODIN!!"
This guy still 10x better than the girl last episode. Just FIRE HERRRRRR
+pinngox nope, this belt isn't good... really... he didn't even cut well...
This is cute. Is it possible you may suggest a tougher version, which can be used for hiking purpose?
Foam guy is back...
I have to say that i like Odin the most from all "builders"
You should build ironman a emergency suit suitcase
I think the paint didn't quite help. I would have recommended weathering with a more golden brown or copper wash maybe and wiping it off instead of really brushing all that paint there. But that's just me. Lol. The built if it was great! Be sure to make it fit to you as it will not stretch after applying the glue and foam. Good luck to all you future Batmans!
Do the gravity falls journal 3
I like that idea.
these look like they take so much time.this is where I fail at cosplay cuz I'm so inpatient
Great way to destroy the whole project with this orange paint.
The buckle looks really good.
For 9 $ it's ok but it's really ugly ^^
Odin's the man
These shitty foam props are making this channel bad. Disliked and closed.
+ceputza No it was good,it gave it a comic feel!
+ceputza that´s why its called DIY
for your information these props aren't meant equipped. they're for collectors whose don't want to buy expensive stuff for their collections. that's why it's called diy
Haikal Husaini
And it's shitty. DIY and shitty are not exclusive terms.
my good boy, I regret to tell you that your opinion is 𝕚𝕟𝕔𝕠𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕥
Odin HE'S THE MAN!!!
i dont like the look of this belt it looks like a 5 year old did it in art class for his halloween costume. It looks like Batman went bankrupt, you can do it better.
SeyHan3232 I personally would have spray painted the whole thing in some gold paint
Bring back the fun projects like the one where people call in tell them what to do
Great technique! Always great to see what Odin is doing.
HE'S THE MAN!!!
ODIN's videos are my favorites! More please!!!
now thats a real diy project
My almost 3 year old has demanded that I be batman. I couldn't find a low priced belt that looked right. This seems like the perfect tutorial for me.
Best D.C. movie I’ve seen
YAY ODIN!
ok I like this guy now.
Odin, Your props always look great.
HE'S THE MAN!
Love the personality! Love this video!! Shared it to my cosplay friends!!! Keep up these awesome DIYs!!!
I really like editing it made easier to understand what piece he is doing. Also I like the price tag on the dime.
Remember to use contact cement in a very well ventilated area because its vapors contain a neurotoxin.
Cool build! I always like seeing clean foam props.
I kinda got lost when he was glueing the pieces on the belt
This is my fav Batman. Was wondering if you could show us how to make a chest armor from the same Keaton Batman uniform? thanks a lot!
This is a perfect guide for kamen rider belts
Thumbs up for the DAD JOKES!
If you want a pretty big challenge try making the glaive prime from warframe. Its elegant and yet deadly efficient
If you want cheap pouches, use Cra-z-art crayon boxes. They’re much cheaper than crayola. I managed to get 4 for a dollar. Just cut off the part that hangs it onto a rack and extend the flap with cardboard or some other cheap stiff material. I covered the ends with electrical tape, to hide the corigation
ha, the second I saw the quality of this build, I knew it was him making it!
Great stuff!
yea they should have gotten that pretty italian kid to do it .
yea they should have gotten that pretty italian kid to do it .
Not really what I wanted to say.^^ He is the best of the bunch.
Odin is like that weird uncle everyone has. You know he knows what he's talking about, but you just can't take him seriously.
that looks actually very cool!
HE'S THE MAN
"I did them all the same time with the one ruler" One ruler to rule them all, one ruler to guide them. One ruler to mark the points and, with a ballpoint, join them!
"should be fine" - a cosplayers mantra.
Yeahhh, I suggested this like 6 months ago!! That's pretty neat!
ODIN IS THE MAN...BATMAN
I'm only watching this because of Odin.
legends of tomorrow, Rip Hunter gun would be really cool to see. I enjoy the show a lot and it's a one of a kind gun, also love the look
For a nine dollar build, that's looks incredible!
Odin needs to do it more
odin-"HE'S THE MAN!"
this looks pretty legit, great work!!!
I wanna know where that web belt came from. I can't find them that cheap. There really should be links posted for some of the supplies they use.
One of my favorite host of this show funny and clean work. Great job.
Nice work, brother.
Your videos are always so well explained and detailed!!
next prop shop ideas - maybe something from the borderlands series! theres a few small props like handsome jacks pocket watch or something thattd be cool
Does anyone else not plan on even making this but watched it anyways?
this looks accurate to the film
dude is rockin the 3D batsign on his chest.
oden.... he the man
