Thank you for posting this. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m 4c and just want natural looking twists that mimic my hair and that don’t require a days work simple for me to do maintain. But the way it looks is exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t find a video that included all these things
Yeah I was not really into using rubberbands on my natural as well. However, there are ways to incorporate them with putting stress or tension on your natural hair. After this install I felt no tension and was able to style my haor right way.
gabbysqueendom Waydaminute I didn’t even realize that I juts watched another video of yours yesterday and I’ll be trying your technique. I am loving these jumbo twists. Maybe one of two rubber bands popped but I just put it back in if it loosen. I’m going to look for your Instagram to tag you. I’m definitely a new subscriber. I will be trying the longer length braid/twist crochet method you did. I tried before but your video made me see why I felt like the crochet was going to cause damage. Thank you again!!
Ooo I seen this done on my. UA-camr. Channel it's a beautiful style but she did amazing job but this time it's a bit different and it's ok but once it's finish it look so good
Thank you! Rubberbands method helps you secure the base of your hair, so it won't matter which direction your twist. I would suggest using your normal twisting grip, but focus on keeping your hair tucked and secured in the synthetic hair.
I did not dip them in hot water and they did not unravel when I put them in a ponytail. However, because they're jumbo size they will require maintenance. So you may have to unravel them every other day to keep them fresh.
I didn't keep them in long enough to see, but because they're jumbo sized they'll require maintenance/ touch ups every other day. Do them smaller if you want them to last long.
@@vivveene You're welcome! Practice makes perfect, so good luck! I try to be as detailed as possible in my videos so hopefully your attempt is successful queen!
No it did not itch my head. I haven't had any negative reactions to synthetic hair. You may need to wash the hair prior to your install or use only human hair.
Over time the root of your hair will lossen and you be able to locate the rubberband to cut it. Then run your hands down the length of the strand and find a safe area (past your natural hair) to cut that strand to unravel the section.
If it pops you can do one of the following: 1. Redo the entire twist 2. Just add another rubberband to the section. 3. Just let it be It's really up to you. Try to get quality rubberbands that have a slight thickness and good elasticity.
So putting jam jell or jell or hold period breaks the hair..... I've learned my lesson just me! Now if it's a day or two it's fine but longer than that no ma'am don't do it!!

Thank you! Glad I could make it easy for you to follow.
Excellent. I don’t like using rubber band but the way you did seem to put very little stress on your natural hair

Great video
Thank you!
Love Your hair .. was it a certain way you had to twist with this hair? like with freestyle hair I had to twist to the left it drove me crazy..
Thank you!

Did you dip them in hot water? Did the hair come unraveled when you put it up in a ponytail
I did not dip them in hot water and they did not unravel when I put them in a ponytail. However, because they're jumbo size they will require maintenance. So you may have to unravel them every other day to keep them fresh.
gabbysqueendom okay I’m planning on doing them medium sized thanks 😊

how long did this hair last for you?

Thank you so much for this!

how many packs did you use?
I used 2 packs of hair - 1 full pack and 2 strands from the 2nd pack
How long did this style last please?

Did this hair itch your head?. All synthetic hair itch my scalp except the antibiotic hair.
No it did not itch my head. I haven't had any negative reactions to synthetic hair. You may need to wash the hair prior to your install or use only human hair.
How do you take it out ?
Over time the root of your hair will lossen and you be able to locate the rubberband to cut it.

How many twist were there? Btw I love this style ❤️
👋🏾 In the video @ 7:25 I let you know the total number of twist in my head. 22
Thank you 😊

Everyone has there own process. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Do you have the link to the hair?
Is on Amazon
try amazon
Did you set the ends by dipping them.in hot water?
No I did not, but if you're worried about them unraveling you can. I didn't plan to have the style in long so I skipped that step.
@@gabbysqueendom8342 thank you for answering😊 I am going to try them. Yours turned out beautifully

Rubberbands would break my fine hair. :-(
If you leave them in too long possibly. Hopefully you'll find a method that works for you.
