Part 1 was excellent but for my money, Part 2 was even better. The scenery was fantastic with the gorges, mountains, water, gorgeous Swiss homes and small towns. Thanks for showing me a part of the world that I will never see in person.
@kenyongray2615 with the Swiss railway lines you just can not get it wrong...the sceneries are just astonishing, beautiful landscapes... I am glad that you enjoy traveling with me around the world.
Glad you enjoyed it. We were enjoying the ride very much. And from the faces of the other passengers , I am sure that they enjoyed it just like we did.
Hello... Magnifique ligne... Somptueux paysages... 🙏
Hello, thank you for your very nice comment. I appreciate it. It really is a great line. For sure it represents enormous dedication and work of the people that planned and constructed it many years ago. And today, the volunteers that help with the historical train rides, are the ones that maintain that old locomotive operating and help to preserve that important part of the history.
This channel gives a whole new meaning to the term "Armchair Traveller/Tourist"! The most amazing journey I have ever watched! That first viaduct blew me away!!
Merci beaucoup. I really appreciate your comment and am glad that you like the video. It is true, on this train and on that kind of journeys you can enjoy in the beautiful landscape ...and it is even better if you already know it. I guess it is nice to see if anything changed.
After about 10 km into the trip the water in the Albula goes into a holding pond. Here's what I think happens, but if I'm wrong and you know better, let me know. Apparently it's impounded and pumped back uphill about 70 meters to another pond at night so it can be used for power during the day. The only problem is I don't see any electrical equipment anywhere. Googling this was of very little help.

Grazie mille!
You are welcome. it really was a great and beautiful ride.
Thank you.
A beautiful picturesque journey. I hope the passengers appreciate this train as much as I do watching it. Splendid filming once again.

@@RailRelaxation your welcome
@Omar A. Massa Verdade.
Is it cheating to skip the tunnels?
