When I had this mousse, I always used it as my last step of styling to lock in my curls, it would always give me great hold throughout the week. I never thought to use it on its own in this way. I’m definitely gonna give this a try. Your curls look amazing!

I really did like Not Your Mother’s, especially the shampoo and conditioner (the Tahitian one), but their styling products dried out my hair and caused my curls to no longer come out like it used to.

Love that mousse. It works well with all gels and for your curls you would like their gel as well! The 3 in 1 conditioner is bomb if you don’t have to deep condition, it gives great results!

I recall recently using eco Jamaican black castor oil gel on dirty hair and I got no flaking. Eco is hit or miss. Love your results.

You recently just put me on to Not Your Mother’s & I bought earlier this week the Defining Creme, Defining Gel, & the Deep conditioning masque from the Curl Talk line as well. When I say my hair loved it. Yesterday I ordered the largest tube of the defining creme & the mousse since Ulta had their Black Friday sale going on with the buy one, get one free!!!!! So I can’t wait to try the mousse. Also I bought the Not Your Mother’s Matcha Green Tea & Wild Apple Blossom masque as well & will be using it tomorrow night!!!! Yay!!!!! To break the cast and create a lot of volume, I flip my head forward and scrunch up with a little oil on my hands. This way, it fluffs and doesn't flatten.
I actually dont mind a little frizz. I like fluffiness w def. I do luv eco esp in the summer. I do not like product that puts a crunch. One my pet peeves is very wet hair. I prefer to use products that does not require saturated hair. That mousse is def on my to do list! Ur hair looks really pretty!

I tried the NYM Curl Talk mouse and it works so well in my hair. I also added the KC curling jelly gel to my hair for extra hold. I am on day 5 now and my curls are still defined, hydrated, and moisturized. 🙌
I love this line! Most recently thought, the leave in conditioner has started to bead in my hair for some reason 🤔 so I stopped using that.. but I use everything else from the shampoo and conditioner to the styling products!
I absolutely love that mousse!! I wanna be bold and try it on its own but I’m scared haha. I also love their refreshing foam from the curl talk line. It’s amazing!

3 in one conditioner is really good. I don't take a lot of products with me on vacation because it adds weight to my suitcase. I went to the drugstore to pick up some hair styling products. I grabbed Curl Talk hoping that it would work. It did!

love the entire curl talk line, works great for my hair. i am just getting back to wearing my hair curly again, been a while. my curl has definitely loosened a lot. i used to be a 3b, now im lucky if i get 2c waves. hoping to get my 3b back! but not holding my breath! haha
I love NYM, especially the curl talk line. The shampoo is really good, and I like all of the stylers except the mousse because it makes my hair greasy for some reason. Loved the video!
Our texture is the same but idk if this is gonna work for me lol, won't know until I try! I do like the NYM curl talk products though.

@@chelliscurls I really would love to see the new gel and how it will work because I tried the curl cream and gel before and it didn’t work so I’m thinking of trying the mousse and new gel and did you know they also have a curl refresher mousse it sounds perfect for you when you want to refresh you curls. I loved your results but for me the mousse made my hair feel icky… it would leave my hair frizzy and leave some sort of coating. I’m glad you like it tho it makes me curious to try it again!

I definitely needed this video! I absolutely love watching all of your videos, but this was the one I NEEDED! I have love hate relationship with my curly hair so I often straighten my hair, so when I do rock my curls, they tend to stay flat until I wear out my curls a few months 🙃 so thank you for this step by step on how you give yourself volume! And I am going to look into that diffuser because mines sucks lol

While I love this line and the mousse is one of my favs…I just tossed it last night after doing a product clean out. I can get awesome day 1 hair with the mousse…sometimes day 2. After that, it is done. Now, after seeing this… I mad dashed and retrieved the mousse from the toss can. 😆

I will have to pass on this type of wash & go. Whenever I have tried a mousse on my curls the mousse (no matter what product line, I have tried half a dozen of them) makes my hair super knotted and I can't even finish styling with it because my hair becomes a big ball of knots.

The towel honestly makes no difference, it’s the amount of friction that’s put on the hair with the towel that makes hair frizzy. You can get the same amount of frizz with a micro fiber towel or a cotton t-shirt. If you rough up the cuticle, it’s going to frizz, no matter what you use.
The thing about micro fiber is the fibers are more micro making it tough for strands to slip into
