Hey Adrian. Just wanted to thank you for your hard work, and efforts in bringing light and life, to those who have met horrible, untimely ends. Your narration is gentle, kind and caring to those who deserve it, you do a wonderful job in telling the victims story. Thank you for your content. From Australia
Sir Adrian, thank you for bringing us these stories from around the globe, because many, including myself, would probably not hear of most of these cases. Now regarding Thabo: To be able to bring a dead body into a prison, placed it in a cell, then set it on fire to coverup an elaborate escape, speaks to the level of corruption within the prison management system. For, there is no way this could have been pulled off without the complicity of multiple prison officials. What a disgrace on the prison management.
Sad how people get caught by scammers. I feel sorry for Nomfundo and also his mom. She seems like a good person and seems like she did all she could to help him. Shocking, sad😢

I’m thankful that you covered this story, Adrian. Unfortunately, we (🇿🇦) don’t have the death penalty … something our country really does need to reevaluate, as violent crime, globally, is the highest 😞
Hey Adrian, I love how you’ve changed up your spoken into dialogue - leading into the story with different prompts and open-ended sentences keeps it interesting for sure! I felt badly for this man as a kid at the start of the story - then shocked, and in disbelief at how an “ educated” woman could fall for such a ConMan - then just angry at the system, for being so corrupt and blind to his antics. At the end of it all I’m just grateful he was caught before he could take another innocent life Can’t wait for your big reveal !!!😊

Thanks for the great content you provide! Hopefully some day you could cover a case from my home country, Finland 😁
Thanks for covering a case in my country Adrian! Even now people are still talking about this: it’s everywhere
There are two major cases right now happening is SA the have huge media coverage one of them being the Thabo Bester cases and the other being the Senzi Meyiwa. He was a popular soccer team goal keeper for one of the biggest soccer clubs in SA Orlando Pirates. Thanks for covering this case.
Kaizer Chiefs really? Stop lying.
Orlando Pirates not Kaizer Chiefs.
@@Liyaena Meant Orlando Pirates my bad🥲😂Let me fix that.
@@selimona2816 Meant Orlando Pirates my bad🥲😂Let me fix that.
He was also a captain of the national team
Nice one Adrian. I'm an attorney in South Africa. The death penalty was outlawed back in 1995 so his guilty plea was probably motivated by other factors. Thanks for this coverage
Yaayyy another Coffeehouse Crime video, love your content so much, thank you Adrian for putting in all your hard work, and keeping us entertained with these crazy crazy stories !!!!

Lots of love from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦
16:50 🤣🤣 She talks about getting a stroke like it's a normal thing. Like it's a panic attack or anxiety. Hilarious!
Anyone else give Adrian the thumbs up before even watching the video ? Knowing that he never disappoints. Thabo is an absolute unnecessary piece of sxxt 😡 Excellent as always Adrian 👍
Ido, yoo and for the same reason
Jaw dropping… I just can’t believe it. Thanks for the videos, They are the perfect length and I get all the important info needed!
00:20 when you photoshop yourself into an egg. 😆
I live next to the prison, knew and went to visit someone from that prison. It was quite impenetrable so i was baffled by this escape.
Very embarrassed for my country.
Thanks for the coverage CoffeeHouse!❤🇿🇦
Adrian you are always on point. Quite captivating the way you've presented the Thabo saga
I’m thankful that you covered this story, Adrian. Unfortunately, we (🇿🇦) don’t have the death penalty … something our country really does need to reevaluate, as violent crime, globally, is the highest 😞
From 1995 right?
Yea that’s just a little bit problematic if u ask me lol
With all the corruption DP would be applied unjustly

Hey Adrian, I love how you’ve changed up your spoken into dialogue - leading into the story with different prompts and open-ended sentences keeps it interesting for sure!
I felt badly for this man as a kid at the start of the story - then shocked, and in disbelief at how an “ educated” woman could fall for such a ConMan - then just angry at the system, for being so corrupt and blind to his antics. At the end of it all I’m just grateful he was caught before he could take another innocent life
Can’t wait for your big reveal !!!😊
I just wanna say what you do a great job at respecting the victims and circles around them. And also not glorifing the murderers
Thanks for covering this story been following it we still shocked🇿🇦 about it. I'm your big fan in South Africa. ❤
I can see this being turned into a movie or at least a documentary by Netflix lol love the true crime videos more than the other new ones.
Man, you are a true crime legend. Never thought in a million years you would cover this one.
Hi there.I just wanted to let you know I live in South Africa and we do not offer the death penalty. The most highest sentence that can be offered is life in prison.
Love love love your channel!
Considering how MUCH murders occur you really should reinstate capital punishment!
I totally agree with you.
We need the death penalty like yesterday...the country is the jungle and its the survival of the fittest kinda situation. So sad and scary 😢
@@lionessnala2000yes there is such bad people in prison and we desperately need the death penalty! Doubt that will ever happen 😢😢
It's so amazing to see your channel grow from 100k near the beginning of covid to almost 2 million. Congratulations on your success and please continue reporting on these heartbreaking cases and spreading awareness!
This is the second video about this case I've seen in two days. The escape plan is one of the most impressive I've seen in all of criminal history, and I'm glad he was caught and put back where he belongs so quickly. I would like an update when the trials of his accomplices are complete, though.
I love how you cover my country South Africa and I hope your South African audience grows. I'm rooting for you. Your research is and deliverance is on another level. Your attention to detail is impeccable right down to the effort you put into you pronunciation. Big up
What a shocking and bizarre case AND still on going. The amount of corruption is staggering. You will have to make an update episode.. Thank You Adrian ❤️☕
From joburg, and so glad you could cover this story🙏 hoping these people get what they deserve.
Huge fan of the channel too Adrian, thank you❤
Hi Adrian!! 😊
I think he should never ever live outside of those walls and barbed wire, he is definitely a danger to everyone else around him.
I really like that you cover cases that hasn’t already been on other channels and that you cover the whole world 🌎! So excited to see what is coming!!
In our contemporary lives suffused with all things true-crime we’ve become evermore discerning in our choice not only of who we prefer as host/creators but also types of cases.
Gore and violence? No thanks.
Daring acts of deception, the close calls, the impossible odds, the role of chance and serendipity? Yes please!
With a cup of Joe? Yes please!
For all that and more we go to Coffeehouse Crime.
Adrian has a knack for delivering the goods for connoisseurs of the genre. His artful presentation, humor, graciousness along with his curatorial eye for good subjects elevates him to be the reigning true crime host on the Internet.
All that and a cat!
Bravo! 👏
This story shocked me so much, I’m a doctor and i can’t even imagine what that lady was thinking…what was everyone thinking? Helping him? Like what?
Baie dankie vir die uitstekende dekking! Ek geniet jou program baie en groete uit SA
Yayyy new Coffeehouse Crime to enjoy with my morning coffee. Thank you for existing, Adrian. Your content has been helping me get through some really tough times. Be kind to yourself and have a magical day! 🤗💜
