honestly the sounds is perfect for the car, dont need a roaring loud exhaust but the tone of the sound is whats really nice about it and just seeing a quad exhaust looks good
Looks good, but since you pulled the back blue trim, it seems like you didn't need to to pull the fake exhaust trim pieces since they attached to the blue trim; just pull the whole blue trim and leave the 2 fake exhaust tips on it...
Yes you are correct i was debating if i wanted to remove them and install the exhaust with the blue trim intact but i quickly realized it wasn’t open behind them so i just removed the entire blue trim piece for the toms diffuser i just wanted to show the different options everyone could do but didn’t wanna cut that piece up cause I wasn’t keeping it.
From an old school carbureted AE86 owner I must say... Very Smooffff !!! From the light rumble, I can hear the efficient MPG gas savings already 👍 Now get some Alloy or Blue 17" or 18"(a little harsh & will get nickedup) Rotiform rims to set it off. The bigger rims don't really help on the track they just look cool. Or cheapo Steelies for some winter fun with some good Douglas all weather tires. Also skip the full header treatment. You will notice nothing on this engine just loss of torque. Get the RIMS!!! Great Work!!!
Stick with 16 tires n wheels as you get more choices on a variety of different types of tires that cost less to replace that last longer and contribute to a better comfortable ride on public streets as a daily driver. The Corolla SE comes from the factory with 16 inch tires n wheels. Forget those 18 inch tires and wheels that come on XSE as they cost more to replace, wear out faster and offer less protection on bumpy roads, pothole roads with a much less comfortable ride. Plus the 18's are much more susceptible to curb rash.
Not sure if it's been mentioned - you can not depend on your hydraulic jack alone. I've seen the hydraulic jacks drop because the fluid isn't maintained, it's old fluid, it has bubbles in the fluid, or someone forgot to put the plug in and it's not to level. Stand are cheap - hospital bills or funerals aren't.
I enjoy your channel but kind of cringe when you're just throwing parts, gouging out clips and dragging the old OE exhaust on the ground. I know you're likely never going to use them again but just something about shade tree workmanship that drives me crazy. Cat back looks great though. Also, laying the new Cat back on your cars paint is another problem for me. lol...

Maybe quote the sizes of the stock and the aftermarket exhausts. It might help your viewers out. Plus, a little technical info may legitimize your channel a bit. Btw, old stock parts have value. Maybe take care to not damage them. You could possibly sell them on the second hand market to put some cash back in your pocket. Nice ride man. Keep grinding.
This is helpful. I was going to go for a dc Quad but I’m seeing that the sound is different and some people are experiencing leaks… while I see no complaints for Remark.
Thats what I did with my car.. It was catless from the turbo out, but it stunk so badly at Red lights and was to laud.. I put a fast cat in and the car sounded just right , and it stopped stinking too.
You put WAAAAAAAAAY more trust into that jack than I ever would! One blown seal and you're crushed under the car. That's what jack stands are for!! That said, I love that exhaust! ;-)
It looks alot better and should come from the factory that way. Have you noticed any performance differences with new exhaust such as acceleration or better MPG? Or is it cosmetic and for more noise?
@@ricevlogs_ When I get the XSE Corolla HB I will opt for the 16 inch tires n wheels on the SE Corolla over the 18 inch tires n wheels that come standard on the XSE. Did u ever have issues with the remark rattling? My whole center console shakes under high rpm’s. I installed a second set of silicone hangers but the exhaust still moves around at idling causing everything to shake like the head unit. Kind of annoying. Trying to find a solution :/
Thanks for sharing! I just bought my 22 not too long ago and in the beginning builds too, and this was helpful because I was thinking of going exhaust but I was also concerned about road trip drones and getting annoyed by it. A couple of questions…does the exhaust tip rub against the diffuser? I see a lot of people rock the toms knock off and they have to shave a bit off so it doesn’t rub against the exhaust tips. Would love to see (and hear) some in car driving for the exhaust in daily driving. Excited to see your build! 👏🏼
Thank you for tuning in! The drone isnt too bad actually considering its a newer car the sound dampening is much better than most so i felt it wasnt to bad i may have some inside clips of the exhaust that i can upload to better the sound of this exhaust and no the diffuser doesn’t rub at all and i didnt have to trim anything at all.
Great job. How much more horsepowe, if any do you get out of this installment? Alternatively, does it drain more gas, or is there no noticable difference?

@sharklee3248 nothing is unsafe about an exhaust. If anything it's more safe since someone might hear you coming. As long as you're not putting a turbo or engine mods it's just a stock car with an exhaust
I think this is what I wanna do next for my hatchback, I bought mine in the end of May. Unfortunately im not 100% what could be a similar setup for the Camry considering the difference in engines, exhaust setups and brands but depending on what u have it may be best to get a similar brand and shape/ mufflers
Just came across this as looking to modify the wife's corolla. The car looks great with the mods, but please do yourself a favour and get some axle stands to put the car on when working under it, don't rely on the jack.

if you're removing the entire "blue strip" then why not just leave the fake exhaust ports in, pulling those AND the blue strip off at the same time?
