I made this last nite.... not word spoken at the table.... excellent recipe 👌🏾
Girl, you are my go-to for DELICIOUS , EASY recipes that I can make any night of the week. I've said it before & I'll say it again, I eat good because of you! I love your food! It's always AMAZING. Thank you for all your recipes.
Usually when I cook ribs, I wrap them tightly in foil and cook at 300 degrees for two hours. They come out tender with no crispness at all. Was looking for a different cooking method when I found this recipe. While I did use my own seasoning blend and bbq sauce, the cooking method was outstanding. I didn't have a rack of any kind, so I laid them down on foil, applied my seasoning, and stuck them in the oven at 300 degrees uncovered. They were frozen. Twenty minutes later, I separated them and flipped them. Came back thirty minutes later to turn them again. Decided to cut one because it felt done, and, surprisingly, they were done. Changed out the foil to get rid of the liquid they were setting in. Put Sweet Baby Rays on one side and broiled for five minutes, then flipped them over (they were now fat side up), applied bbq sauce, and broiled for six to seven minutes to crisp the fat some. They weren't as tender as when I wrap them in foil (probably should have let them cook a little longer), but the texture of the meat and the crispy fat was delicious. Never would have thought I could cook ribs that fast. In the future, I'll probably combine the two cooking methods by wrapping in foil for around an hour and then cooking for another thirty minutes or so uncovered before putting on the bbq sauce and broiling. Thanks for sharing!
@dispecking...I read, aluminum foil causes Alzheimer's.
Nice
Yup gotta wrap them in foil for at least half the cooking time if you’re cooking them in the oven IF you want them super tender. Just my experience 🤷🏽♀️
@@lisakaye3919 your right ! I did that but different!
My personal favorite BBQ sauce Sweet Baby Rays. Perfect!!
Sweet baby Ray's makes sauces like no other!! I especially like their honey mustard sauce. No matter what other brand of that I try I ALWAYS go back to that sweet savory honey mustard. ❤ Glad I'm not the only one
My mom's too!
Mustard is the best binder for anything. Good cooking
Your voice is so comforting. I love how you cook too!
To get them super tender you can wrap the foil around them for that 2nd bake to seal in the moisture. Great job though 👍🏾
I agree.
Using foil risks steaming them.
@@danziegner The steam provides the moisture to make them more tender.
Thx for the tip!
If you cook them hot n fast moisture isn’t an issue. 🤗
I made these again! Pressure cooking ribs and finishing under the broiler was our favorite. Not anymore! These are spectacular! This time I fed 6 others who all agree. Thx again!!
I made these last night using the method I described below, and because I was able to add a little smoke, taste, and add a little more, I was able to get the smoke flavor JUST RIGHT!
Thanks for this video! _I would have never used liquid smoke last night if I hadn't watched this._
This turned out terrific. My country style ribs were smaller individually. I had (2) 1.5 lb packages of ribs. I followed the rub recipe but did heaping mounds since I had a bit more meat. Instead of two hours on the first oven baking session, I did about an hour and 40 minutes. Ribs were at about 170 deg. After applying the BBQ suace, butter, and honey mixture, 30 minutes was just right for these to pull from the oven at 190-205 deg. Thank you for a great recipe!
So that’s a little bit more helpful cause this is my second time doing it and it’s not coming out like how hers comes out
I have just over 2lbs
My country style ribs have some bone in.. should I cook longer??
Country style ribs have a very delicious flavor!! My husband’s favorite choice of meat!! He’d take these ribs over steak any day ❤
I put a little finely ground coffee on mine, it looks like pepper and elevates the flavor to a whole other level!
I stand coffee grounds definitely add flavor to any dry rub. I use it in gravy also. Adds perfect color and flavor.
Never heard of adding coffee grounds to my dry rub but it seems like it would add a nice flavor to my dry rub. At the risk of sounding stupid do I use coffee grounds before or after brewing?
Oooo, good idea
Ive been looking for a good recipe all day to try tomorrow for my boyfriend’s lunch for work and I finally found the video I wanna try out!!
Looks great! Get a pressure cooker and you can pull the bone straight out the meat (clean)in 15 minutes. Finish on grill for 1 hour or in oven on broil for 30 minutes. Flip half way through. To get crispy outside like it was on the grill for hours
Thanks. I have some Country Ribs to cook and I was going to cook them in my smoker but I’m recovering from a bout of the flu and am not feeling up to messing around with the smoker. This looks like an excellent alternative for a lazy day. I’ll give you feedback on how it works.
The ribs need to be covered for the 2 hour cooking. I did it your way, and they were dried out-- NOT tender. Great flavor though!
2nd recipe of yours I've made. I was gonna pressure cooks these but I'm not in my usual rush. OMG! One of the best ribs ever! Looking forward to making something else of yours. Thank you!!
For sure making these for my husband
Ok I made this yesterday and it was delicious I did not have the Jack Daniels bbq but it tasted fantastic thank you for sharing recipe.

Looks good! Going to make this next Sunday for dinner 😋 I personally don’t like my meat to fall off the bone so this is perfect ❤
Country style ribs have no bone... they come from the chuck area of the animal... ;)
@UCD BNXT Country style ribs can be purchsed with or w/o the bone; I buy them frequently with the bone.

That looks delish! 👍🏿😋 I'll be adding this to my video catalog..😊
Can't wait to try this recipe!
No fair, you are a professional, and everything is so good, perfect, what makes these Ribs so different is the butter, honey, BBQ sauce mix at the end, who came up with that?OK I have my ribs on the sink right now, so let me get started wit the smoke, so thanks and I will look in on you from time to time. You should be a teacher...........BB
Haven't made country style ribs in a couple of years at least... will give this a try soon though! Thank you!
I made it, family loved it! Not one left! I have to make more next time. Thank You!!!!
That looks awesome sis. Definitely making this recipe for my mother. Keep the recipes coming.
I'm thawing mine out right now. I ran to this channel for a recipe. ❤ I'll be back for an update 👍🏿
Great recipe!
Those ribs look so delicious 😋 . I'm definitely adding the ingredients to my grocery list so I can make them.
Cover in mustard then rub. Include sugar seasoning and cayenne pepper in seasoning. 300 degreees 2 hours. On rack uncovered. Remove from oven . Remove rack. Replace foil. Add honey , butter and babrbecue sauce. Mid in ribs to mixture. Return to oven bake for another 30 min b at 300z.
4th Recipe I've made of yours. Delicous like always. Thank you!
good recipe , and you made a nice homemade rub , which takes longer than making your own bbq sauce , Jack D.'S bbq sauce is nothing more than a lot of sugar/sweetener , salt and a binder ,do not spend $7.- on that junk , everyone can make their own in 1 minutes time and use what they like for about 50 cents ! we don't need to add more salt to the ribs your rub has it already , ribs look good !
Heyyyyy Rose that looks good thanks for sharing!!
They look amazing 😋definitely going to try this out tomorrow ..thx for streaming 🤟❤️
THIS LOOKS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD!!!! Definitely trying this!
omg.they came out delicious !!
These look so yummy that I'm making them tomorrow night!! Also.....when I was going over the ingredients list, I noticed that you left out the liquid smoke. I hope nobody misses out on what the LS brings to the table. Thanks for the awesome video!! Loved it!!
Not a fan of sugar but these look amazing! I'll just use some BBQ sauce for a little sweetness.
You should use Carolina tangy BBQ sauce. The best on the market ☺️
Nope! Sweet Baby Ray’s, baby ! Lol
Never had that jack Daniel's barbecue sauce may have to try that one day my top 3 barbecue sauce are
#1 Famous Dave's
#2 Sweet ray's
#3 open pit #old school#
Excellent recipe and so easy❤It turned out perfect, thank you😊
This is making my mouth water just watching this video
Great video, and eye catching title! Ty!
I am going to make all your recipes!
I used to bbq so much but my legs are bad now so I'm finding oven recipes for some things. These look great!
I may go a bit longer. You said you were in a hurry. I'm not today. Plus I like my bbq overcooked. So does my husband. We both used to joke about that when barbequing. He'd say, "Let's leave 'em out here a little while and get 'em 'beef jerky' style." That renders more fat out so they're less greasy. That's the way we like stuff. (Never any complaints from guests. 😁)
I'll use the liquid smoke like you did plus I'll rub some chipotle powder on there with the other spices. That will add extra smoke flavor. I'll still put the cayenne. We like heat.
Yours look really good! I hope I do 'em justice!
New to your channel. Subscribing.
They look so delicious 😋.
Mine r in the oven right now for 2 hours uncovered, using your recipe.
