    Recipe: Country-Style Ribs
    Ingredients:
    Country-style ribs (5 lbs)
    Salt
    Pepper
    Garlic powder
    Red pepper flakes (optional)
    Barbecue sauce
    Instructions:
    Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Season the country-style ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Wrap the ribs in foil packets and place them in the preheated oven.
    Bake for 2 hours.
Remove the ribs from the oven and generously coat them with barbecue sauce.
Place the sauced ribs back in the oven for an additional 1 hour.
After 3 hours of total cooking time, check for fork tenderness. The meat should easily separate.
For a final touch, broil the ribs for about 20 minutes to caramelize the barbecue sauce and achieve a sticky texture.
Enjoy your rich, melt-in-your-mouth country-style ribs!

I used this method but changed a few things to my liking and it’s one of my favorites. Thank you for posting

I've cooked them before at 300 for 2 hours but they always turn out very tough and dry. What am I doing wrong?

In total, she cooked them for 3 hours - maybe that's the issue? I appreciate your comment though because I had to go back and make sure it was more than 2 myself :)

Jan, I'm surprised you didn't use your 4-ingredient S.O.S. seasoning on these. ⬅

I did three hours and they were still tough. And not moist. Not dry, but not moist.
