Such an amazing rig you have in there! Good job bro. Mind i ask, what kind of brand is this light on the top of your rig?( the 3 blue lights) 0:15
Also where did you get the net on the sides?
The lights are Phillips Hue and the nets are DIY. I got some nylon webbing straps from a hobby store and cut them to length. I tried attaching them various ways but settled on a heavy duty fabric glue to hold them together.

It's the Trak Racer Tubular triple monitor stand. If I had to buy again though I would just go with the standard 8020 Aluminum profile triple stand, simply for the adjustability that they provide.
Amazing setup dude, you got any tips for me who wants a budget sim to start off?
I haven't been into the hobby a long time but I definitely would have made other decisions knowing what I know now . If I can recommend anything it's decide on what type of driving you'll be doing (drifting, rally, formula) and get the gear that will provide you the most for that discipline. For example if it's rally or drifting you'll probably want to get a handbrake and shifter and a clutch with your pedal set. If it's formula or GT style racing you don't absolutely need those. I would say start with a decent direct drive wheelbase though. The low end options for those are not much more than your "budget" gear/belt driven wheel bases.
I bought my Moza R5 bundle about a year and a half ago. Used it for like 2 weeks playing karting simulator and I haven't played video games since. I just got into real life offroad racing so I'm getting back in to practice online. I bought a playseat evolution cockpit, the redbull one that come with a seat, and I bought the compatible Moza clutch and shifter. Using a Lenovo c3 77" oled tv with a 120hz refresh rate and 0.1ms response time.
I'm building a second rig in another room for my gf, I've decided on getting the Fanatec 5nm bundle and a GT Omega Art cockpit without the seat. I'm going to buy a sparco or recaro bucket seat separate for that build. Buying the Fanatec clutch, a hand brake and a 3rd-party shifter that's both sequential and H-pattern.
I think both of these builds hover around that $1000-1200 range when not taking into account the screen and computers. If you already have a screen and computer/console, then I would recommend the Fanatec 5nm bundle because I believe it's more compatible with 3rd-party accessories. With Moza, you're pretty much locked in to using only the lite pedals with the R5 and only their clutch pedal. Also, I heard that their pedal mod kit doesn't feel as authentic as the Fanatec pedal mod kit.
If you don't have a computer or console or screen then you'll probably want to start there.
