I haven't tried Fender but Laney has good sound which is quite close to my tube amp sound which I profiled in QC. Laney is loud enough even with loud drummer in the band.
@@alexmusicexperience My Laney 1x12 is due in about 3-4 days. Can't wait as I have been using the Quad Cortex for recording. Going to set up a live rig with the Laney
Would you recommend the Laney FR-112 besides its heavyweight? Quad Cortex is not affordable, but I would like to try the amp using the Amparo Stomp II.
Frankly speaking, I haven't tried Laney with my tube amp but it would be interesting to test. Normally I use my amps Revv D20/G20 with Revv cab which is a bit smaller and lighter than Laney. I use Laney specifically for Quad Cortex.
Just got my Laney 112 yesterday ,, using it with a boss GX 100 and man that thing is loud and sounds great
Nice tone you have going on in the video!!
Just worried if the LFR-112 can keep up volume wise.
Just what I was looking for. I haven’t decided yet. Not sure if the Laney or Fender Tonemaster FR12. This sounds amazing

@@alexmusicexperience Thanks-was wondering about that.
That’s what I was dealing with but the majority of people on forums and Reddit went with the Laney ,, I got mine yesterday and it sounds awesome
@@Doa616 Enjoy!🎸🎶
