Sharing your playing process is very helpful for me, I struggle to make plans since I do look at them as fixed points, and you're reminding me the importance of being flexible in planning. ❤ Very helpful! Fun that you're making Toaster a blanket! 😊

Whilst I love planning things out, it is only through your sharing your planning of projects that I have started planning my knitting projects too. I have no idea why I didn't do this already, but it is really helpful and encourages me to keep working on projects so I don't fall behind on my plans. I follow Kay and Dan from The Bakery Bears and agree that Kay is good at writing patterns, you've shared a number of them in your episodes which is always great to see them worked up by different people and in different colours. I am heading towards Winter down here in the southern hemisphere and I've planned my winter knits with a previous episode of yours, now I'll plan my spring/summer knits so I know what yarns to look out for as I shop 😍 Planning definitely gets it out of my head and I feel more relaxed and ready to knit as a result.

I love to see this kind of video. However, because of my busy schedule, I don't have the time to get so much knitting done. I am knitting all year round for winter only, because I can't get things done as quickly as everybody. I am also a monogamist knitter for the most part. I am much of a product knitter, though I can enjoy the process of more elaborate projects. I get bored on stockinette😂 😂😂

Loved seeing your process and planning! I like to keep a master list of projects I'd like to make in a notebook and then dedicate a page to each project as I cast them on. I don't really plan month to month unless there are multiple deadlines (like Christmas knitting), but I agree with you that having a plan is more freeing since you don't have to stress over priorities because you've already done that through your plan! You can just enjoy the knitting!

Your colour / yarn choices for the Diaphanous Raglan will look wonderful in my opinion. That pink mohair is gorgeous. My choice for your tank top would be the one with the ruffles. I think it's dressier than the other one. Also since summer is coming around you will then have something dressy to wear when you & Kent go on your "try a new restaurant" adventures. As for the other tank, that one could be your "easy knit" instead of the Musselburgh hat.

I’m attempting to make a cardigan for Easter. I should be splitting for the sleeves today! It’s the maema cardigan by pip and pin, it’s the first time I’ve done anything like brioche knitting. I do have one big ish mistake in there, I’m hoping to just put a pretty pin over it lol. Once this is done I want to make the summer sorrel with the Disney fan girl fiber yarn that she just rereleased for the end of the 50th anniversary. I also want to finish a crochet blanket and start and finish a crochet shawl. I love seeing the planning videos and dreaming about what all I want to make! I’m considering making a top like yours for advent this year, but I’m a good bit bigger than you so I’m not sure how it’d work out.

I do something similar for my project planning but in Notion, makes changing things up so much easier and I can have all the yarn and pattern linked and loaded in my Notion so it's all in once place. Right now it's just a glorified excel sheet but I'm working on designing a beautiful Template so it's as pretty to look at as it is functional. If I started writing it down in a notebook it would only take me about a week to forget which notebook I wrote it down in and then I would never find it again lol at least with Notion it means it can be on any devices no matter where I'm at.
Hope you accomplish what you are setting out to do and look forward to hearing all about it :D

While I don't always write down my plans, I do have a knitters planner and I do use it to log what I'm doing. I currently have the Vellichor on the needles - it's taking so long because I have squirrel syndrom lol My granny stripe throw using fingering wt. yarn leftovers and mini's, a 2 skein tote and buckets, and a granny hexagon cardi that is giving me fits because it's not square. I've ripped back more than I've knitted. I think I finally found a solution so hopefully it will be much quicker now. Love the ruffle cami, but would love to know a solution to the large armhole issue. I made a soho top and it really stretched because I used silk and wool/silk blend I think. My first one wasn't so bad but it was just wool. The cami is super soft and squishy but the armholes are huge. I thought about picking up stitches and knitting a V in that space or even crocheting it but I haven't yet cause I'm afraid of messing it up.
