- Hey guys! It's time for a change, and although change feels a little scary to me and mixing up a routine you feel comfortable in can be a bit daunting - it's so important to make space for the new. Thank you to each and every single one of you for being such a support and sharing your love with me every day, I know that without you all I wouldn't have the life I do today and be able to have a career that I love with my whole heart. I personally think short content is boring. I love long videos and am so happy you still doing it.
My heart dropped when I saw this vlog title, I thought to myself oh no. She’s ending it. This was such a sweet reminder of how much HAS changed in the last 5 years and the vlog has been a constant for all of us!! I remember watching the first episode and I’ve moved, married and had 2 kids since then! It’s been so wonderful following your journey and being a little part of your and jack’s (and the dogs!) lives. I used to be ritualistic with the Sunday watch but life with 2 toddlers means I’m watching a few days late always - so the different upload day is a non issue here! Just so so happy for you to continue to share with us 😍

I don’t use Facebook, Instagram, or tiktok. I only use UA-cam. It’s been this way for me, for about two years now.

I'm of the generation that doesn't feel the need to jump on every platform to consume content. I love keeping up with family and friends through snippets of their lives on Instagram. I truely only follow a small % of "celebrities" with influencers in that collection of people (which you and Vieve are apart of). I really appreciate the small glances into the channels I follow on UA-cam because it's been so long since I've followed most of the influencers on this platform. Don't get me wrong I love seeing Tiktoks reposted on Insta and Shorts but don't think I'll ever download. That's my way on trying to live in my moments and daily realities. I don't think you realize just how much your subscribers don't care what you post here, we'll be watching!

I don’t care when you guys upload or how you present it, I’m just grateful to share in whatever you wish to share and at the end of the day you don’t owe anyone anything, we’re just lucky that you don’t mind sharing stuff. If you upload on Thursday people can save it to watch on Sunday 😁. A lot of people are contemplating moving off UA-cam and I understand. For me personally I don’t use anything else for different reasons for eg Instagram is not really designed for iPad and I only use an iPad, TikTok ownership concerns me so I won’t even open an account etc.

I am so excited for those changes! It’s a brilliant idea! I had actually stopped watching the vlogs, at first because i was busy but then i just found that a lot if them were a little formulaic? Yk, very similar in their content and I think “focused” vlogs sound so good! I love love love your regular vids and think adding some more intent behind the vlogs is gonna be such a good change so you aren’t struggling to make your daily routines and work schedules seem like new content every week. I’m totally ready to receive this, just happy you’re finding something that works for you ❤️

Change is good and necessary as life goes on! I've been around since week 1 of the vlogs and even before, and I think I can speak for many of us OG followers that we'll love whatever you decide to share with us and whatever videos come out way. I don't understand what's going on with social media either but I don't use tiktok because Instagram seems to be just videos now. I love photos, I prefer them to reels, Instagrams new formula really annoys me because I don't see the profiles I like and I'm now being shown accounts I don't follow all the time. I use pinterest the most. UA-cam is my favourite, especially your videos, 20-30mins is my ideal length video and your vlogs are so relaxing to watch when I get ready in the morning! X

I commented on Alana’s video saying I don’t really love TikTok but feel like everyone is going there which is almost forcing viewers there.
My favourite is You Tube, I love the long chats to sit and do my make-up, eating breakfast etc
Instagram I feel the same as you Jamie, I miss the photo aspect of Instagram and I find Reels are a lot more Repetitive than Tiktok.
Tiktok is good but I do find my self feeling mind numb in a deep scroll hole which I don't love.
I personal, still clinging onto Instagram and UA-cam - feel like a pensioner saying that as if I’m not down with the tends 😂
You’re right! We have grown up together! I’m only a year younger than you and would 100% say you’ve been my idol for the last 6/7 years. When you started the weekly vlogs no way did I imagine them going on for 5 years! From buying Mac layin low, to the Jamie I’m tired tshirt and now to every Vieve product, I’m so proud of how far you’ve come and can’t wait for the next chapter! Just keep doing you! Honestly I miss old insta and UA-cam 😭 I don’t know if that makes me an old biddy or not but it was so much more fun when it was just images and stories. Stories is where it’s at on insta now, it feels so much more authentic than the amount of highly produced reels and professional photoshoots etc. I miss how fun and spontaneous it was!
TikTok has its place but I wish platforms would stop copying each other and just specialise in their niche!!

Change is good for a second I was worried by the title that you were going to completely stop like so many other influencers that seem to be due to the huge amount of time other SM apps want from them!
