Thanks for doing this one. This is one of my favorite maps aesthetically and I've been wanting to learn it a bit better. 0.14 is my first wipe playing seriously despite owning the game since 2017.
Why you did not have a flashlight equipped so we could see half of what you're pointing at is beyond me
This has to be the laziest least thought out, disgustingly pitiful unhelpful interchange video i've ever seen. beginners cant even get in the mall without waiting 15 mins for the entrences to stopped being camped. ZERO TIPS , just another " ovea hea issa some loot..and oh yeah there too...thats a locked room i forgot the key " Fuckin Shite mate
Thanks again for all of the guides Pest! I'm pretty sure if you wanted to show off realistic loot spawns, loading into a co-op raid puts you into a server where the loot generates properly. Not 100% positive on that though, just a thought.
Playing my first wipe, this week I decided it was time to try Interchange (mostly thanks to the weekly). Watched your 3 year old guide literally yesterday and bam the new one is up the next day :D Still I found it very informative, with the information on loot spawn point changes and other bits that were not in the old one. Love your videos and try to watch the streams when I can, wish all the best to you!
P.S. new raid series when???? I'm slowly watching the previous one and it's literal gold for a new player, can't wait for the new one with all the changes in 0.14!

Thank goodness, as much as I love Scavving in on Interchange for either scooping up dead PMCs or getting quest items. I feel more confident now with this map on offline mode like you mentioned.

How lazy same video every wipe..
I have a theory that the offline loot is bad because the loot scales with the amount of players that are in the raid
Probably just to reduce load times for offline raids.
thats a good shout, it'd be interesting to see if more loot spawns if you load in to an offline raid with a 5-stack...

Jokes aside, it's a good guide and starting point for newer players, but I really don't like how you rush through these descriptions. I think it would be good to full screen the map everytime you are at a new POI, so players get a good overview of the "full picture". Better to take your time explaining everything, than to rush it and leave new people confused.
Love the map guides Pest. Can you run certain maps like Interchange with a flash light on though as alot of parts of that were almost completely dark and I couldn't see anything. ❤

tarkov finally, been wanting to play snice forever.
You should do map guides for somewhat experienced players to add up to these beginner guides. Show stuff like shooterborn spots, talk about the spawns, how they interact with eachother and how to abuse them to get kills or avoid fights, rotation ideas on the most common fight spots, killa farming (on the interchange one) etc
Yeah let someone else min max the game for you and completely solve it, that will make the game more enjoyable! Just go play and get better dude.

It’s worth mentioning, Killa will always aggro on sight, even as a scav, so if you see or hear killa on a scav run you should probably run the other way
Is it possible to use a flashlight on your weapon as well? I have a lot of trouble when you're in darker areas looking around because all I see is darkness and shapes.

Definitely there are new hidden stashes introduced with random containers. I used to run interchange stashes year ago, so I knew all the stashes at that point. After they introduced random containers, I saw at least 3 new Jaeger barrels on interchange.

Hey Pest, what I need is help on Shoreline. I can't get anywhere on that map. The spawn plays are so campy and/or aggressive. I gave up this wipe because I can't complete a single task on this map.

Try playing night time
Play at night time with NVGs without flashlights, you'll be a ghost. Just avoid resort until the last 15-20 minutes of the raid, then all of the amphetamine tweaked twitch nerds will already be gone and you'll complete your tasks fine.

You need a flashlight or something for these videos. I'm sure it looks fine on a good monitor or TV, but I'm watching on my phone and when you're showing the cages in Oli it's just pure blackness you're aiming into. Same with most of the video in the center of the mall.
is there a sucessfull strategy to crossing woods wo. being sniped from the vilage across the map?? I dont know if you allready made a updated woods guide but itd help us noobs a whole lot. I do manage to jump scare a lvl 40 player here and there and its not like i completely suck at fps.s but.. the camping and the sheer ammount of spots for someone to rat on woods is absolutely insane.
I thought i had this map in my pinky finger and was scared of going to streets bc so many alleys and windows... but no. I keep dying to a friggin bushwacka 15meters from my extract. XD
Forgot to say that turning on power gives up your position and you often get pushed if you stay there
Would be helpful to run these darker maps with a flashlight or some other way of brightening up the "right here" moments when it's just a black screen. Otherwise, your videos have been very helpful.
I’d like to see the next one done with NVG’s or a flashlight because I can’t see shit in the pharmacy or approaching it to learn the area in this video
Can't decide if interchange is worse than light house. Love the 11sr card and the loot crate outside, some cool ideas but the map needs a rework something fierce.

Yes
I’ve used 26 uses on my ultra key, I’ve found 8 ledx and probably 15-20 defibs.
Good video but it's kinda hard to see alot of the spots you are pointing out. Maybe use a flashlight? But awesome video none the least. Keep them coming

Honestly i think both extract should be open just to lessened the amount of extract camper or at least makes it harder to camp

What is the significance of a no backpack run? Are you faster without it or something?
It's because you can use the no backpack Exfil on this map if you go without backpack. As explained in the video, the exfils on this map can be quite painful, especially Emercom (which is camped a LOT). The no backpack exfil is a bit more in the middle of the map and can be reached a lot more safely, which can be worth running no backpack for.

@@Gloryofthereef Additionally since you have no backpack you will weigh less and won't be able to pick up as much loot (weigh less) so you would make less noise and regen stamina faster than if you were overweight. Biggest advantage is being able to take the extract though

Don't sleep on the file cabinets at the front of the mall across frok Viking. I find Intelligence about every 3rd raid or so.

After they patched out the snow, interchange is back to being too dark. We always run NVGs now.

The only thing i don't understand is: why do you recommend to bring a docs case into raids?
If this guide videos are for beginners, how could they bring a docs case? 😅
It's not like you easily find it somewhere.
Barter trade is Therapist Lvl 2 and for a Docs case as a quest reward you have to finish Punisher Pt. 5 wich you get at Level 20.
Beginners definitely get docs cases. At level 15 you can buy one on the flea for like 400k or do the barter from therapist if you choose.
Getting one prior to the flea market is a little tricky but after level 15 they're pretty easy to obtain.

“Beginner” encompasses such a broad amount of players. Very easily could have a docs case, and he’s making recommendations for what they should be looking to have for the map anyways
I got one at level 5 once. From an airdrop , on a scav. Nuts that it was dropped at the end of a raid & there was no player. I never saw a flare. So…? Dunno? But I got it. Mixed results when going for airdrops but I scored a lot of good stuff even this wipe on them.
Interchange used to be magical back in the days. It’s funny how it went from my favourite to my least favourite map..

I'm closing in on 1000h in the game, havent found a single ledx and only 1 GPU (which I died with) in total, had a friend with 100h loot a ledx I walked right past in his first raid this wipe

I love interchange as 85-90 percent of the time you can avoid players if you know what you’re doing while questing but the extracts are just terrible. Every single one of the extracts are just build for extract campers to just sit and wait.
