Pest can you run a helmet with a flashlight on it for these videos, I’m sure on a nice monitor it’s fine but watching some of these guides on mobile there’s a lot of very dark, hard to see areas. Thanks for the guides very helpful

I really needed to watch this video before my Reserve run yesterday when I went into the map for the first time as a PMC (I had done Scav Runs to start to learn the map). Oh man were my extracts limited because of special conditions. I went to manhole, couldn't get out with my loot because I had a backpack. I went to descent, couldn't get out because no paracord or red rebel pick axe. I headed over to train station and got killed by a scav boss. Still, I got a lot of XP on that run! 😆
I main this map as a scav, I've found SO many MFD in the filing cabinets that I made all my money at the beginning of the wipe without even needing to work towards the bitcoin farm. I would say Reserve is one of my top maps for money farming.
they could remodel the outer areas where you often get spawn killed just add some bushes, a couple of tanks as cover or sth so people actually have a chance to move away from there 🙏😂

I paid 6 million ish for my red rebel - it was worth every penny - Reserve is a great map, but the toxicity of the extracts is incredible. Red rebel completely changes that.
I waited til Jaeger lvl 3 for the barter because it’s much cheaper money wise but overall agreed. Before that I was taking my chances hitting D2 with under 3 minutes in raid.
My strategy prior to that was to hit the lever for hermetic, and run up to dome to come down to d2 the back way, hoping it had been activated. Pushing to hermetic or train later in the raid is insane, you have to push through waves of player scavs spawning in from there and hungry for loot. Manhole is even more heavily camped than D2, and D2 switch is the most contested area on the map … yeah, red rebel or not at all as a solo PMC, especially now dome seems to be much less busy than it was a few wipes ago.
Hitting the lever for hermetic door also gives a chance to spawn raiders if i remember correctly, like when you hit d2 power switch but you can hit hermetic lever every like 5 minutes
in the little building near sewwe manhole, the barracks looking building with the bunk beds, i see 3 duffels in there consistently every time so thats some good easy loot
I would consider doing this series as a duo with RedOpz. If you guys went in together you could show the angles for the new people, you could have some comedic relief, idk. Would be a fun twist to duo map guides with uncle Red.
I wouldn't say you are safe. Raiders are boosted npcs, typically have better guns, ammo, armour and have more aggression and accuracy with more HP on body parts I think. They will aggro scavs, I think you can safely kill them as a scab with no rep loss as they are not scav faction. Labs also has raiders.
Nah raiders will clap your ass out regardless of scav rep, they are a bit fucky and wont always shoot on sight (scav) but you can kill them as a scav and not lose rep. Typically if you hear npc speaking english they're raiders but there are some who speak russian. They tend to have good armor, and gun attachments, sometimes good bullets but thats infrequent. They always have nades and heals in their pockets as well. If you hear a gorilla speaking russian its gluey and you should run or be prepared to fight him and his guards. It can be difficult to differentiate them and glueys guards.
Bunker part 2 would be so much nicer if you didn't have to hit every spot in one raid, and instead it was like Delicious Sausage where you could hit the locations individually, extract, and it would save your progress.

I ran scav on reserve for the whole wipe knowing where to look and only found two GPUs... not even in the said spawns but in dufflebags. The loot is hella nerfed and needs balancing compared to streets and lighthouse tbh
i think all the modded ak spawns has gone down the shitter im Reserve Rat its the map i always play and i remeber like 4 wipes ago i had my whole stash filled with modded ak74 from reserve

You always cut it close with time on these guides, can you not bring stims to help with sprinting around? Either way nice updated guide. I really miss the sniper haven this used to be.
It's so sad how they murdered this map by getting rid of all the loot spawns. I remember a few wipes ago when all the above ground high value loot areas were in place and it lead to some outrageous fights between PMCs. And this lasted the course of the WHOLE 40 MINUTES raid. There was actually enough loot to go around not just one or two hot spots that everyone would try and rush. It also had player PMCs staying in raid a long time and fighting off the player scavs to try and get to all the loot. Now it's just like you said @pestily , after the first 10 minutes all the PMCs are either underground and dead or on their way out of the map leaving hordes of scavs to pick over what little scraps of loot is left.
That's funny.. I've played tarkov 3 years now I think but I've never ever learned reserve lol.. told my mate this week we are playing reserve next week till our eyes bleed.. day later this is released lol
the bigger question is: why can you use armored rigs but not armor with a rig That makes 0 sense 😂 It should either include all armors, or weight limit you depending on your strength.
Sorry if you get this a lot, but... Lighthouse Map Guide when???!!! I am newb and don't know anything about lighthouse while always getting stuck on those beginner quests to lighthouse :(
Some of the worst spawns in the game are on this map. If you want to spend 10 minutes in the menu and the queue, only to get killed in the first 14 seconds (literally what happened to me multiple times yesterday) go ahead. I cannot bring myself to enjoy the map at all after all the misery I have been going through with my bolt action rifle (SBIH), being rushed by level 55 chads on spawn. Can't even get a chance to play the map to complete my quest.
i feel like he rushed those guides too much , as basic they are super fine but for example in this video he should have mentioned to look at the medpiles on the ground in the smp/ksm building. Those small things miss in every guide video so far , things expirienced people know through expierience and beginners could need.

This, the interchange guide was 40 mins of darkness, which isn't super helpful if you're watching to learn a map you don't know.
We need the Lab map guide. A lot of us are trying to find thier MCCs. ))))

On top of the queen building, underneath the antenna I’ve gotten some good stuffs aswell from the gun box if/when it spawns there too

Agreed absolutely. They need to add more extracts to the map that dont have silly stipulations.
it's crazy being in queen and hearing 4 separate groups extract via the red rebel within about 3-4 minutes
the Lever is for the Bunker Hermetic Door, the Depot Hermetic Door is the Scav Extract underground

Modded ak can be found in the train car inside the station also a few weapon boxes and in the back of the green truck inside black knight.
i wish they would bring back good loose loot to all maps :(

As a new player, I dont really understand what the "raiders" are supposed to be? Is it a boss as well? Am I safe as a scav?

Prapors bunker missions refer to Server building as King. So its in writing in game at least.
Dome is queen. Dome is also south. 😂

ive been running scavs on reserve all wipe and have been getting nonstop gpus, i think they buffed the spawn rate on reserve

SPT always uses an older version than LIVE, so there could be some differences depending on how far ahead LIVE is.

Love the guide but its hard to see when you go into darker buildings
You forgot the worse danger area on the map and thats the hanger spawns by pawn as that can end your raid in 2 seconds flat :(

The idea is that you are too stiff to rappel effectively, and probably too heavy. IRL it's not really a thing except in very specific circumstances.
