I made this except I added some onion and celery, just a bit at the beginning. It was good but tasted just like a restaurant soup. The Legal Seafood clam chowder is much much better, they use real clams and clam juice from scratch, it makes all the difference. Thanks so much for all your hard work. I agree that the chopped salad from LaScala recipe would be nice to have, I can't get the dressing correct either.

Theirs was so tasty, tender and juicy, and the au ju was wonderful and not thick at all. Can you see if you can make it in an upcoming video? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I’d like to see a recipe for the best chicken pot pie. I don’t know who’s famous for it but it’s such a heartwarming winter meal. I grew up on Swanson and other cheap brands but there must be a better recipe out there. My mother wasn’t that great in the kitchen. I’ve made it with a recipe on utube and it was really good but was too lazy to make the crust. It becomes just a hearty winter soup then and fine by me. I just subscribed to your channel but will look through all your recipes.
That is great Gizmo. Thank you. When I do a chicken pot pie, I deconstruct it. Basically I make a hearty and creamy chicken stew, then top it with a baked puff pastry. My issue with the standard pot pie is that the bottom crust never stays crisp. And then you don’t have to bother with making a crust! LMK if that works for you. Yum. Happy New Year 🎊
