I already have all the power stations I’ll ever need. Now I’ve supplemented with pure sine wave inverters and lifep04 100ah 4000 cycle batteries which are much cheaper and simple…During our last hurricane where we all lost power for days on end I just gave my neighbor a battery and inverter to run their refrigerator and save their food…

The code says applied but it doesn’t give you a discount. At least not on the AC200L it’s the same price before and after the code. I checked on a separate account as well. But it did work as a discount 2 days ago before prime day. I’ll use it anyway and hope they pay you, keep up the good work. You keep companies honest and humble.
Very helpful! Thanks, Was looking for a solution to finally stop replacing lead-acid batteries in outdated, low-performance UPS systems scattered throughout my home. I've had good luck with Ecoflow for other uses but that wasn't going to cut it for a UPS.

Got a smoking deal on the AC300 (including B300) on Amazon only to find out this morning that B300s are out of stock and can't be shipped until July 31. They already have the AC300 component shipped. Did anybody else get this message from Bluetti?

I'm so torn between the Bluetti AC200L (with solar kit) and the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max (with solar kit). Both are literally just a few bucks difference after the sales and codes. Which one should I get?! Main use is car camping with a 12v fridge and powering other lights/electronics as well as Milwaukee batteries.

Why do you need to disconnect your house batteries when using the ac200l ?
I used to be a Goal Zero guy until I found this channel about 18-months ago. I switched over to Bluetti last year (2023) due to the Professor's Bluetti prime day.
I have 2 AC300's with 4 B300's. I'd like to upgrade to the AC500, but that won't work with the B300 batteries....you need to upgrade to B300S, so I guess I won't be upgrading. Been living off grid with the AC300's for 2 years now.
That AC500 is crazy! The price is insane!
I thought the B300 would work with AC500. Just that you can put B300 and B300s in a series.

I’ve had the EB70S for a couple years now. I can charge it off my truck’s 400watt modified sine wave AC inverter in the truck bed while driving but dislike its external power brick. I hear the newer Bluetti products seem to dislike modified sine wave and won’t charge. I asked them about this at this year’s Overland Expo and was told to email them as no one in the booth would or could answer the question and it went into a black hole. Can these newer products charge off modified sine wave? Thanks for the video!

U can expand the AC 180 with a B230 extra battery. I have done it, but you need a cable U can buy from Bluetti. The 180 is a fantastic deal and also can be topped off with a b230! Just a FYI!
No it can't. There is no battery port. All you are doing is feeding power ONE WAY into the AC180. Then you have to separately recharge the B230. That's not "battery expansion". Virtually every solar generator can charge from any 12v battery.
Yes, you can expand the ac180 by sending power from the b230 into the power port on the ac180. Yes, it is one way charging and not technically like other units. You’re splitting hairs, it’s possible and technically I am expanding the capacity. Yes, you do have to charge the b230 separately. My b230 is attached to my 180 with a Bluetti provided power cord, and I plug 500 watts of solar into my b230. So I have a one way flow of power going into my 180. I would classify that as expanding my 180 capacity. I could care less what U technically call it.
@@user-yf5bo3xi6eif thats what you call expanding the battery then I expand the battery on my bluetti by plugging it into my wall outlet at home. That isn’t expansion, that’s recharging which is what the pro was trying to tell you

A battery is required to use either. Both are two piece units.
I own a Bluetti but actually might try an ecoflow.
I've got the Ecoflow Delta 2 and Wave 2 AC, they are great products but I caution you that their customer service is non-existent and on 2 separate occasions I had to wait 2 months for an order to ship with no follow up as to why from the company.

Why is it necessary to disconnect the converter/charger and/or house batteries before plugging my RV into the 30 amp receptacle on the AC200L? Thank you.
Not sure this will answer your question or be helpful. I believe he is suggesting this because if you do not turn off your converter the bluetti will be also trying keep your house batteries charged depending their state of charge as they would be were you connected to shore or generator power. I do not always turn off my converter when I have AC200max hooked up via 30 amp port. I have solar charging the bluetti OR charging batteries while driving but not both. I have found that having the bluetti charging the batteries via the converter works well-----but it continues to use power almost all the time.I usually turn converter off at nite.

Yes, what the other person said. Most folks still have lead acid coach batteries. Keeping the converter on will constantly charge those batteries until your power station is dead. If you have lithium house batteries its less of an issue.
How can I, without expensive diagnostic tools, measure the ACTUAL capacity of a solar battery? I have an AC180 which is supposed to be 1052wh but I'm suspicious I'm not actually getting that. The battery is a month old and only charged and discharged twice.

Don't know what that means but if you're using corded power tools, I recommend a 2400w or larger inverter.

Thank you for your response. I am looking for a battery bank for home use with corded power tools ie miter saw, table saw or tile saw. Prob only need to make 50-100 cuts at a time. Just don't understand the technology of these new battery banks and at these prices I can't afford the learning curve ..... thank you and love your channel
Consumers, these battery compoanies are playing you for chumps. The minute you buy one, they will suddenly have a new "special." Been there, bought those: Bluetti 200AC Max and Ecoflow Delta II Pro max.

Not buying another Bluetti based on all the bad customer service reports the past few years. I got lucky and got a good EB70 and EB3A but it's not worth taking a chance on this company anymore. I'll make my own systems from now on.
Smart move. I bought a decent amount of products from them. When the solar panel was not providing enough power after a hurricane. I never got an answer via social media or emails. Via the phone, even worse,got voicemail after voicemail.

From respected and entertaining "test guy" to spokesperson for Bluetti.
Try to keep up - he always showcases the brands he respects when they have special sales, he just did EcoFlow (yesterday, I think).
Your unfounded attempt to imply that he has sold out shows your complete ignorance.
And every other manufacturer of this type of equipment for that matter. There are reasons: In-depth testing, truth, technical expertise, likeability and also a very effective and friendly communicator. Prof. Hobo deserves all the respect he continues to earn everyday.
Prof. Hobo does test all the units and lets you know if there are even small problems. He is a spokesperson - for every solar generator that wants to put their product out there for testing. If it passes the testing - he has no problem saying how well it worked. Also, if a company is willing to work with him, offering discount codes, it works for everyone.
Of course, UA-cam is full of spokespeople, who detail how well the products work - without testing the (free) solar generators.
I never realized Bluetti is Chinese owned. Built in China is one thing but when it's Chinese owned, that is when you see shortcuts and the product won't last. It;s a deal breaker.
Once you purchase it, YOU own it. LOL!

I own a Bluetti and there are no shortcuts, it's a reliable quality product.
Good luck finding a maker of these that isn't Chinese-owned (and not dropshipping Aliexpress crap at a huge markup)
