  • The Ammoon Pockmon Multi Effects Pedal combines overdrive, distortion and three different delay types in a single effect. The Ammoon Pockmon also combines cab emulation if you're using headphones directly with the pedal which makes it sound nice with headphones.

    Put a vibe or flange on the FX loop into a clean amp...all set. Great video as always Shane!

    Just bought this on the back of your review. I sometimes practice in my lounge using a small amp & this unit saves having pedals, psu’s & cables
    To mess with. A pedal board with a psu would cost a lot more . 👍

    the od is good, dist sounds like a ds1.
    this looks like a possible future purchase as a quick and dirty flyrig.

    I like the distortions, actually sounds pretty good Shane. I've actually had that stored in my ebay wish list for a little while now, just too many other things to buy before it! But it's not far off. Hot mode sounds a bit Big Muff'ish and I like the tap tempo function and FX loop - great idea. All this for the price is pretty good value I reckon.

    You’re turning into quite the rocker...nice posing in the intro haha! Pretty cool pedal...having a built in effects loop is really nice on this one. 👍🏻

    Judging by the controls and how they're labelled and going on the Mooer-derived circuits in a lot of the Chinese pedals I'd say this unit consists of a Green Mile (Tubescreamer), Hustle Drive (OCD) and a Reecho (Boss delay) plus a tap tempo. Not a bad combo actually.

    The alpha crunchers is 69$ .I trust donner,tone city, joyo.these are all take offs of the tech 21 fly rigs. Tech 21 made a pedal years ago called the tri od. It had 3 simulators built in each with its own switch. You could also turn off any sim you wanted. Remember tech 21 created the sans amp which imo was the best for direct recording. Each sim had its own eq,gain, level. It also has a cab sim built in you can turn off. All Sims are good fender, Marshall, mesa. Whether you like all 3 you still have 3 overdrive in one pedal. Most owners who own one like me don't want to sell theirs. If you can find the purpleish guyatone md3 delay are great for those who don't need a tap.It has the warmest tone for a digital delay. I set the time just high enough to get that warm reverb then set my repeats to 2or3 . That's 2 pieces of quality used gear that will sound way better than this and will fit in a soft laptop bag. Get some

    Thank you for the demo. I think the pedal is pretty good. Nice to have one pedal that would get you through most rock-type gigs. I would have liked a compressor to make it complete as I like compression on my clean sound, but I'm likely in the minority. I have the Carl Martin Quattro that I use quite a bit and it's very similar, but bigger and more expensive.

    Hi, beginner here, how does the loop work?
    Do just step on it, play over it, and once you step on it again, it plays what you played over and over?
    For example: I turned loop on and played some chords, then I turned it down, will it repeat what I just played?

      behind eNemY lines well I've heard you a couple times talk about these so I had to go check it out. I like the Plexi one I've always liked Tech 21. I have a GT2 I've had it for 15 years when all else fails I plug that in and I know I'm going to get a good tone. The fly rig pedals look very cool let us know if you get one.

      Thanks. I am curious about them myself, their amps sound real good I know Shane had played one for awhile. The Overdrive pedal on The RK5 is what is interesting to me! Sounds like the fly rig is a club players dream considering how small they are!

      I've always had a lot of respect for Tech 21 I'm sure they had many opportunities to make their stuff in China but they remain in the USA that can't be easy. but kudos to them. They use the best components. And the people that build them are dedicated. That makes a difference.

    Hi Shane, I am in LOVE with that lead tone you have going in the intro. Are you using your Fender Blues Deluxe amp? What kind of guitar is it and what pickups are in it? And what is that riff/lick you keep throwing in? It reminds me of an Aussie series set around a school, maybe late 90s. Thanx, great channel btw.

      I'm not gonna argue that Darren but for me, there's nothing sweeter than plugging straight into a good quality amp and being pleased with the sound at high volume. I got nothing against pedals; honestly; I'm always willing to mess around with different effects but I'm just not a pedal guy.

    • @byrdz2313
      @byrdz2313 6 років тому +1

      Makes sense Darren. I wouldn't mind trying an Amp1 type device but it would difficult to not use my Princeton Reverb miked up on the stage...it's not that "crazy loud". I couldn't see it troubling sound guys too much. I'd try anything though; especially if it sounds good.

    Can Ammoon or someone make one of these with a Reverb + Freeze effect and lose the delay?
    Freeze must be really expensive technology, 'cause it's an awesome feature, and yet relatively few companies build this feature into anything.

    • @chrisa.7262
      @chrisa.7262 6 років тому +1

      it has an attempt on freeze, hold the delay switch (not the tap one) but it is not smooth and it gets louder the longer you hold it down.

    I like it for its portability. Hey as long as you can find a lead tone that will inspire you. You can put an eq,your must drive,etc. I've been playing for forty years and I would loved to have this back then. This is for the guy who thinks Chinese pedals use fake circuits and you have to pay 500 bucks for an American made equivalent. Modern circuits use op amps (chips) along with resistors, capacitors, etc. American companies buy their chips from China or Japan. A lot of American companies have their products made in China and put a made in the USA label on it or at least buy their chips and other components from China. China is great at copying American products it's called reverse engineering. Don't buy into the hype that made in America means quality and great tone. What made in America means is price gouging. Check out the video by big D guitar builder. He bought a Gibson l.p. from eBay by those guys who part them out. The binding on the neck was in poor shape so he tore the entire guitar down completely. He was shocked at the poor quality of construction and it's all documented. Watch it everyone and see what's really behind that 3,000 dollar Gibson.

    Question, I am pretty noob with guitars and found a Gretsch G5421 which sounds alright to me.
    The HH design sounded way more versatile than expected.
    Is this a good starters guitar for say blues and rock (no death metal LOL).

    • @RyanWright
      @RyanWright 6 років тому +1

      maybe so, but some people don't have $500+ to spend on A pedal, so we work with what we can...

    • @JackJames9648
      @JackJames9648 6 років тому

      Ryan Wright i know that but that is a common issue I ve noticed in many of these pedals I d rather spend 80 for a good drive and 20 for delay. Distortion is so bad 😅

    • @RyanWright
      @RyanWright 6 років тому +3

      Not gonna argue that it isn't great, but it isn't the worst I've heard either... :) That being said, yeah, if you can afford better, then get it. But in a pinch, this little pedal can give you a small, affordable "board" that you could take with you to give you some options sound wise to start out... I started out with a Digitech RP-80 multi-pedal, and it served me well until it died on me. Now, I've built up a heck of a stack of pedals to build a pedalboard

    • @peterschmidt9942
      @peterschmidt9942 6 років тому +3

      Mate I'm going to have to stop you there. Most effects pedals have around $10-15 of parts in them. Getting that combination right is the issue. So no, you don't have to spend $500+ on a pedal. If you still want to, by all means go ahead.

    • @TheRezus35
      @TheRezus35 6 років тому +6

      "fake drive" ? aru you sure you know what the "real drive" is then..?
