May Joseph Grace and Baby Plunkett rest in eternal peace. And may the green sod of Erin lay gently on their souls

Im a protestant from a very loyalist area in belfast. I grew up in the troubles and was badly effected by it all.
What i did was educate myself on the irish history and found the truths. I left loyalist bands and change my ways. I want all us irish born to put as much of the pasts behind us as we can and respect each other going forward.
We all have a huge battle ahead.
The Crown treated the irish like scum and invaded. Black and tans were evil dirt.
Yes im a very proud irish man as i know the facts.
God bless all of this island.
Any nasty bitter comments youll be blocked and ignored keyboard warriors

I was named after this song as my fathers great grandmother (originally from Ireland) would sing it to him all the time. It holds such great meaning and importance to history.

This is one of the most beautiful and tragic stories in Irish History. So many brave men and women were murdered by the british. The british empire has so much blood on their hands, and so much to answer for. I hope to live to see the day they pay for their crimes.
Thank you, Davy for all your hard work and for keeping the memories of our beloved Ireland alive.

As England remembers their dead soldiers on Remembrance Sunday. It cannot be forgotten the 25,000 the British sent to Northern Ireland with rifles on their shoulders.. 🇮🇪💓🇮🇪💓🇮🇪💓🇮🇪💓🇮🇪💓🇮🇪💓 we never forget the Irish Republic army that had the guts to stand up for the love of Ireland we remember those that lost their lives never to be forgotten ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Another sad thing is that the Plunkett family did not accept Grace as Joseph's widow. Grace never married after Joseph's death and they are both burried at Glasnevin Cemetry, as many other irish heroes.
Addendum: Grace came from a Protestant family, Joseph was a devout catholic and she converted to catholicism.

So I live in Nebraska in the United States and I am in my high school’s band but we don’t have any orchestra, so are there any rebel songs you know of that would work for us?
