Lovely video and it looked fun. For wine I tend to lean toward the sweeter side like pink moscato, but open to new stuff. I think whisky is becoming bigger in Japan also.
I'm a sweeter wine person myself too. They had a big mix of wines. There were some that were so sweet I was joking with other people that we were drinking juice. Hahah. Whiskey is a thing particularly in the form of Highballs. You can buy those in a can here.
Since you're in Yamanashi you need to spend more time in Kōfu ... It's a lovely rural ,tranquil and serene place, where an email takes 3 days to reach somebody (true story)
I went to Kofu. It'll be the next video. Though, I disagree with the "rural" label. It's WAY more city than where I'm living. Hahah. There is just a nature area in the north that makes it feel more rural.
Yama Nas hi is my hometown! I wish I visited these places when I used to live in the prefecture! Lol Good job walking 40-min!!! Loved your video!
Did u taste the grapes alone?
nice! wine/grape region...its been a couple of decades since ive been there.
One thing I've realised is that Japan grows amazing fruits. The grapes that were given to me were the best grapes I ever had.
100% want to go on a wine tasting trip in Japan. Wine = life.
That's gonna be a helluva expensive wine testing.
Do it! It's a great trip and Yamanashi is beautiful.
