An interview with Leo and Tiffany Resig, founders of Resign Wine, and the story of how they came to be owners of a wine company. From the amazing art on the bottles by Zach Johnsen and his Acid in the Ice Cream Series to the stories of finding their wine maker, Phil Staehle at Enkidu Wine through wine awesomeness.

so basically be rich and have rich friends that have connections
#ThatPart
So how do you start your own company when you’re poor and don’t have connects 😬💞
When you already have money and resources it's not hard to find anybody/anything.
White people always have money
Facts
@@odin8010 people like you make me laugh honestly.....yes I'm black from Philly and started my business last month. Happened because I opened my mouth, network, and research. Nothing in this world is given. Take that from a black person you fool
Great story. My wife and I have been making wine for 5 years and are currently in the process of opening our first winery. There is a lot to it, but it’s the love of the challenge and the freedom it gives you by not being stuck sitting in a cubicle working for someone doing something when you’d rather be doing something else.
Making the wine is the easy part . However the hoops to jump through with local and state are crazy .
TLDW; be rich and pay someone else to figure everything out
Thank you for this !!!!! I love wine so much and my friends always ask me what’s a good wine, with that I decided I would create my own wine company
Goals. Goals. Thank you for this video. Near future 2030.
Such a great interview and such a cool story! I've had my fair share of Resign Wine in the past... the Happy Trails is bomb! Hearing the story behind everything makes it that much better.
Brian Mercedes thanks bro! It actually does make it taste better knowing the backstory:)
Excellent interview. What a great story! I will have to keep my eye out for it up here in the PNW. Great job Marc. Love your energy, personality and production quality. So good!!
Thanks Harvey! Hopefully it can make its way up there. It is pretty tasty.
I appreciate this video. I really want my own wine brand but have no experience creating wine. I’m excited to work with others, learn, and grow
This is the process I've done. I'm so excited to see I'm doing it right
this is awesome, thanks for sharing their story.
I loved this!!! I can’t wait to start my own line soon enough
I would love to get into the winery when I retire from teaching! I love wine!!
Very interesting.
Really well produced and performed interview. Well done
Thanks for the comments and watching Lasse!

Amazing interview, we are getting into marketing this wine company from overseas and still learning the work flow of this type of business.
Good luck!
This was dope, great inaugural Intervensday!
Thanks Will, I wonder who I’ll do next? 🤔
Awesome video!
I really love this interview. I am trying to find a video that gives a rough estimate cost wise on starting up a wine label/company.
Those wine boxes for storage are awesome! Where do I find those? Great interview and thanks! :D
Great interview
I’m begging in my kitchen and a bucket in my closet, LETS GO

I want to start a wine company I even have the LLC, but I don’t know people that know people. So so I call custom crush facilities?
Mikayla Seymour same question
It’s ways to make it at home
ladydede88 wait girl, that’s brilliant. I’m all over it.
How to start a wine company... The luxury of having $$$$$
this was the com dot bomb, which is funny because Leo also owns the bomb dot com
I have 10 acres FULL of grapes that I inherited. I just don’t know what to do with them!
That sounds amazing !!!! I only have one grape plant and wish I had acres !!
Andrea Sanchez it’s a lot of work🍇 😅
Andrea Sanchez but it really is a beautiful place 🍇
Its not actually hard work its just knowledge and love. If you dont have that, you will have terrible wine that you have to age in order to sell. Haha. But finding a good winemaker and having storage is also a big plus 👍
Hey Fender, hope you are well. Mind if I ask, from which Country are you? or rather where your farm is situated?
A wife never makes mistakes or is it just me. The guy destroyed the truck 😭😂😂
👏👏🍷🍷
I have an innovative wine ingredient patent! Let's talk!
I make my own wine so how do I sell it and distribute it legally.
Hello did you ever find out
You'll need your federal licensing first. The talk to your local county or city about commercial production and licensing. I'm in process of starting a Meadery which is the same process.
Fucking amazing!🥰
Step one: Be a Millionaire
Step two: There is no step two
Step Three: Drink
So basically be rich and buy everything along the way and slap your own label on it and cal it yours. Title is so disingenuous 'cos this is not how you start a wine company. Whats about the folks that aren't millionaires who can't buy everything along the supply chain and truly need to immerse and learn the art and craft of actually creating a wine bottle.
Ok but the money...how much money did all of these steps take..
Depends on the business model...they said they're sourcing. I'd say anywhere from 25k to 250k. Start a vineyard for 2 million.
these people clearly had the money and resources, they were already investors in a wine club company and were even friends with the guy who owns that company so their connections came super easily as well
Actually someone else is making the wine lol
So you have taken someone else’s art and stuck in on a bottle then taken someone’s else’s wine and put it in the bottle to sell for yourself?!
🤷🏼♂️
that artwork seriously looks like trash.....and on a wine bottle!? Come on. Wouldn't buy that.
